Who is ACTUALLY the best climber to have ever lived?

Thanks to everyone involved. Jerry and I had a fantastic few days hosting and climbing with Magnus and Adam and it was great showing them around our old training haunts. The highpoint had to be seeing them on my Minus 10 classic the Megatron Turbo. Whoever would have thought! Nice one guys.

The vibe with Jerry heckling (encouragingly!) and Ben just being like an accommodating host is honestly amazing - I could have watched 2hrs of this - would love to see more

I could easily watch a full hour or more of this. The vibe in this room alone. Learning some of the history and seeing you guys all climb together was incredible to watch. I found your channel about a month ago and I've watched a bunch of your videos. This is one of your best. A series like this with legendary climbers past and present at legendary spots would be amazing. Also, you got me back bouldering for the first time in 10 years this week and brought my little bro with me and he loved it. Appreciate it man, definitely one of my favorite channels on Clip-Share now.

I mean we all know that Magnus is strong, but the fact that he can still flash boulders that Adam fails to flash is just insane. Adam is the pretty much undisputed nr 1 of our generation and Magnus can still hang with him!

I laughed so hard when Jerry said to Ben to downgrade Adam's route to a 6c. The chemistry between all of them was amazing.

A bit emotional watching this one. Last video I watched was your other Sheffield video and at the time I mentioned we were close by as my mum was in hospital in Yorkshire. Unfortunately she passed away on the 10th of February. She was really proud of my daughter who has just turned 7 and started climbing. She has been climbing a few months now and we usually watch your videos and Adam's videos together. We went climbing tonight in the northeast of the UK and she spent a lot of time talking about her Nanna. It's been a really emotional month but climbing helps her focus and talking helps her process the emotions. Watching videos together during mums illness was a big help for us both and gave us a lot of support. If you come back to the UK it would be brilliant if she could meet you both. I sent a message on Insta but appreciate you will get thousands. Thanks for another amazing video and this was probably one of my favourites to date. It felt very authentic and real. This is an amazing segment! The old footage of Ben and Jerry is from the "The Real Thing", a revolutionary video that completely flipped the script of what a climbing film looked and sounded like. It was the first climbing film that showed us the personalities of the climbers and gave a glimpse into their lifestyles . That coupled with a techno/house club music soundtrack made it look and sound like nothing that had been available before. It was not just another "RAD" action film, it was relatable to a new generation of climbers and set the tone for many films that followed.

Best climbing video I've seen in ages!
This is the platinum standard for "all star cast".
The casual tone and the filming is brilliant.
I got so absorbed about halfway in, I fell into the mindset of being at the crag with mates.
Then Jerry: "you want some tips Adam? Just pull really hard..." 😂 classic.

This is a fucking insane video!! Huge props to Adam for joining in on this, it's a lot of preassure being nr 1! And of course MAD respect for the absolute legends. Climbing is what it is today because we stand on the shoulders of giants and Ben Moon and Jerry Moffat are undoubtedly some of those giants who have lifted the sport to a whole new level!

I love how humble Magnus is, despite being one of the best climbers in the world. Seeing him flash a boulder problem that Adam couldn't flash makes you understand how good Magnus actually is. Awesome video!

I think Magnus has fooled us into thinking lately he’s a Clip-Sharer who used to climb but this video reminded us he’s a climber who also does Clip-Share. So strong. I’m curious Magnus, how often do you train/climb still in between all the videos?

Ben Moon, at 56 years old, is an inspiration for us 40 something climbers who are careening quickly towards our 50s.
Something magical about this video and how it kind of blurs time and magnifies what a magical sport climbing is.

Seeing the current young thrusters alongside the heroes from my climbing youth is so much fun. Amazing to see the progress of the sport, but seeing a 56 year old Ben Moon still climbing at such a high level is inspirational.

I'm only a casual in climbing but this was super fun to watch. You guys must have had a blast filming this with Adam! Magnus flashing Five Bellies was super impressive.

This is one of my favorite videos. Old school and new school coming together for some hard, fun climbing. Doesn't get much better. Jerry Moffatt's commentary and ribbing was just icing on the cake.

Seeing Jerry feed beta to Adam, and then Adam encouraging Ben surely is the most wholesome example of how friendly and encouraging all climbers are, regardless of age and experience.

This was such a good video, I was grinning like a nutter throughout! It was so nice to see such a strong and prestigious group of climbers in the same room having fun and showing everyone what climbing is all about!

This is incredible. As a relative novice to climbing, having only gone a year or so of consistent training, I love learning more and more about this sport through your channel. I absolutely loved this video. As someone new to climbing it's great to see fantastic climbing skills and learn some of the sport's history.

This was such a special video. I can just imagine that in 20 years time there will be two new top climbers (maybe one of them is theo blass?) filming a similar video with some of the legends of the past, and it could be you and Adam in Jerry & Ben's shoes.

Not 100% sure everyone will get his video, might not go viral, however, for someone like me, who started climbing in the early 90's, and still does now, this is GOLD. Had so much fun grinning and catching the psyche!

Hey Magnus, I am a Industrial Climber (not sure if you have something similar in Norway, and in certain cases it is very different from Climbing and more Rope Technique, but I would really love to see you do a Crane or Phone Tower Climb, hear your input and see how you feel about climbing metal structures like that, at in-door jobs in factories, climbing steel beams or so, you'd probably do amazing! :)

This was amazing. I don't really follow climbing, but watching something from 20+ years ago and seeing their minds blown by you two shows how crazy good you two are at it. That makes it even more enjoyable to watch.

Man it's crazy how good they still are. I really don't think you see this kind of longevity in many other sports.

This is by far my fave video you've put out. It's really cool to see that as much as you guys are the superstads in the climbing world, you're still climbers at heart. You guys hanging out and climbing, looks pretty much the same as every other group of climbing friends I've seen. solving problems, hyping each other up and all. Of course, you're just climbing 100 grades harder than the rest, lol.

It's cool how Ben Moon talked about his endurance getting better while his strength falls off. There is some debate in the literature, but it's generally believed that as you get older, type II fast twitch muscle fibres get converted to type I slow twitch muscle fibres, and the former is optimised for power while the latter is ideal for endurance and posture. It's not a training thing, it's an actual age based physiological change.

magnus, i am not sure that you will see this but i have been watching you on and off for a while. i climbed in college and i am trying to get back into it. coming back to your videos have light a new spark in me, so thank you. i look forward to more of your videos. keep killing it

I really smile watching these videos. It's the respect and camaraderie, it's so heart warming and reminds me it can be great to be human. Adam's smile and the enthusiasm in his voice is so endearing.

This video really captured one of my favourite things about climbing, the super supportive competition. Everyone is cheering for the climber, and also really trying to push themselves as hard as possible.

this is something for the real climbing nerds, love to see it! You can truly see them all coming together and bonding over one thing, all very passionate about the sport.

As everyone has said, this is an unbelievable episode Magnus, simply one of the best things I've ever watched. I'm 52, so Ben and Jerry are obviously going to be heroes of mine, but you, Adam and all of the younger generations of climbers are also heroes to me and that's what is great about the sport. So pleased you got to make this video. I got to climb with Jerry and Ben a long long time ago now and it is something that still sticks with me to this day. I have kept a VHS player in my house just so that I can still watch the real thing on video (and, occasionally, hard grit...only wish I had a copy of stone monkeys). Immensely nostalgic to see this modern video with legends spanning 5 decades, chapeau for making this happen.

This was an amazing video, especially to me who's younger and been climbing for only a few months. Seeing how everything started, and you guys climbing problems that were there even before I was born!

There is something about watching the best climbers do what they do best and how flawless they make it look like. Epic video. Love the perspective of modern climbing from legends who grew the sport. There's probably not very many people that could heckle Adam Ondra and give him a climbing tip to pull harder!
