When the new season opens, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places. “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” season 2 stars Emmy Award® nominee Dee Bradley Baker (“American Dad!”) as the voice of the Bad Batch and Emmy Award® nominee Michelle Ang (“Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462”) as the voice of Omega. Love how Cody's line about the Clones having some signs of rationality might just be one of the things that speeds up the phasing of clones out of the Empire.

@Dragon Channek Oh yeah? Where are the Undead troopers, or the Rakghouls, or the Sith Genocide, or the uninhabitable pestilent lower levels of Coruscant, etc? The only "dark" tone to come from Disney is Andor, and, while that show is a masterpiece, it's not yet enough to wash Star Wars: Rebels away

Really curious to see if Rex and Cody interact at all in this series, it’s got a vibe of Anakin and Obi-Wan and I’d love to see it expanded upon.

I litteraly gasped when I saw the wookie. The idea those younglings died in order 66 has saddened me a little for years and I'm happy to see he survived, which maybe means some of the others survived

I was 17 when the Clone Wars Movie came out. Not a Parent yet, but some of my Friends who are the Same age have kids of their own. So this would apply.
Not for me, I’m 14 years old and I’m a much bigger Star Wars fan than my 54 year old dad. All he likes is the live action stuff, I love not just the live action but the animation and the video games too

I hope and pray that Cody and the majority of the clones remain loyal to the Empire! It makes it more tragic that way and fits in with the idea that this period is the dark times! I also really want to see Separatists holdouts!
Cody will likely betray the empire considering that the obi wan kenobi show had originally plans to include commander Cody as an ally to obi wan. Meaning they already have his story arc planning to go to the good side
In most of the stories Cody does indeed remain loyal to the empire, but there is no true ending to Cody, some say he became a dark trooper, a very brutal ending to a hero of the clone wars who fought against droids, being forced to become a droid himself, others say he went on to train other stormtroopers until he retired.
@Isaac Rebellion I don't know about that but I just hope and pray that Cody stays loyal to the Empire.

But Cody did show up in extended trailer and he was question the empire before that, but in final trailer, Cody's face is look different, I saw one clone is Cody who wearing navy clothes after Bail orgena scenes.
@Isaac Rebellion Cody should stay loyal to Empire because there has been too many stories already about people deserting the Empire. It also makes for more interesting storytelling by having people on the Empire's side who genuinely believe they are doing the right thing. It also makes things more realistic because most people would not rebel against a dictatorship, especially if that dictatorship appeared to come to power by the will of the People, like how the Empire did. Also it continues on the themes of Revenge of the Sith, in showing that this era belongs to Sidious. So I am still hoping and praying that Cody remains loyal to the Empire, but also doesn't die.
You can see on Cody’s face when Crosshair tells him that the clones questioning the order are “traitors, like the Jedi”, you can see how much that concerns him. It seems like even Cody is having second thoughts about the whole thing, but we’ll never know until the show releases.
I'm curious if they'll have him follow his Legends version, since that was both a pretty interesting twist, and a fairly dark story
POTENTIAL SPOILERS
In Legends, Cody becomes a trainer on Kamino. As time goes on, and he sees more of his brothers getting replaced, he begins to fall into a depression, seeing himself, and all other clones, as just tools to be discarded by the Empire. But, his loyalty to the regime he fought for means he never acts on it, instead, spending the rest of his days depressed, and bitter.
@Vertigo yea there’s no way that look he gave crosshair didn’t have any significance. Cody is questioning everything like the other clones. Hopefully it’s Rex that gets through to him.
I think Cody will die fighting against the empire and echo will be there comforting him

This seems like a full on season of clone wars with multi-episode arcs, cameos, returning characters, and so much to be excited for. This is gonna be epic!!

I was very impressed by the first season. I'm excited to watch season 2. It gives me something to look forward to during what is normally the most miserable month of the year because of weather. Stay in and enjoy new Star Wars.
I can’t wait to see Gungi in action, hope he survives long enough to grow up at least since Wookiee Jedi are VERY rare to see.

Man a confrontation between Cody and Rex is something I really want to see but is something I know will hurt so much if it happens.
I enjoyed the 1 season! I got to know them more and see how they really were. so excited for season 2
I really want to see Rex and Cody interact. Just to see how they deal with it.
I feel like in some ways this looks more like The Clone Wars than even season 7 of The Clone Wars did. Loving the lighting and color palettes here
if you pause it at certain points it looks like a painting. the animators are absolutely crushing it i don’t even know how they keep getting better

Seeing that little Wookie padawan alive makes me happy. He has one of my favorite lightsabers ever. If I were a padawan I would also request a wooden hilt.

The tone of this trailer makes it feel like this is the next epic movie coming out. I hope people can get past the animation aspect of it and take the show for what it is, quality and deeply rooted in many aspects well worth your time and attention. Wow Star Wars is doing some great things.

The opening shot of this trailer, makes me grateful that I'm experiencing a time of gorgeous animation with the likes of Arcane, GOW Ragnarok, LD&R, endless anime and many other projects I have missed and cant remember. Thank you to every animator and vfx artist that makes these possible.
its intresting to see how anakin turns evil and obiwan stayed good but obiwans commander turned evil(maybe by choice maybe not) and how anakins captain stayed good.

@William Lazenby youre wrong thinking those things have to be slow and boring. Like i said, there were about 4 episodes that were EXACTLY the same. Thats not world building. Thats not character development. Those things can be done in interesting ways.

This season is looking a lot better ngl. It seems like echo is getting more focused on which is nice. The colors and scenery looks so much cooler. Cody and Crosshairs differing points of view and their relationships look very interesting. And the adventures that will take place seem so much more entertaining. Looking very forward to seeing this in just under a month

@SkuBdude They don't stay active and the Clones gradually regain their independent minds. However the memories of what they did stay with them and lead to their trauma and regrets. Additionally a few Clones are also seeing what the Empire is truly about (Hence Howzer) but at the same time look how few Clones we see at the end of Season 1. The empire doesn't care if they become disloyal cause they already have their Stormtroopers.

Uhh Crosshair takes that role. We have yet to see how fully invested Cody is to the Empire. We’ve seen how invested Crosshair is already.
He very clearly looks like he is remorseful about the order in that clip, I doubt he's gonna stay and develop in the empire lmao

In the Clone wars the only reason Cody got screen time was often to make Rex look better
He was shafted, Look at the First Bad batch episode, Cody clearly knows the Bad batch , they respected him from the get go and so much could of been done, but nope he is injured like 10 minutes in
Cody NEVER really got to shine, and as one of the shows bad guys unless he is the MAIN antagonist he wont get to shine either and its clear he wont be, Crosshair is the big personnel antagonist to the group with Rampart and Tarkin being the bigger overall villains
I don't trust Filoni to do Cody any justice since well he never did it in the Clone wars

The clones in the series were always the backbone to the jedi/sith in the story line. This show will miss the Mark due to being focused on the clones
The trailer for season 1 impressed me and I enjoyed about 3 episodes of that season
