Oh Eddy… my grandma used to play Wii sports every single night til 4am, and every night I would witness my grandma doing perfect games… over and over for hours. Her technique was pretty interesting; she would never move her character, and before throwing the ball, she would "fake it" half a dozen times before throwing. I would try it and sometimes it would work, but for her, it was natural. Then one day, she fell in the tub, broke 3 ribs and never played again 😢 I wish I filmed proof of her play because it was so impressive. She passed away a year and a half ago and I know if she was alive right now, I would have asked her to play Switch Sports with me and I guarantee you that she would keep her perfect score. Miss you grandma. Also Eddy Ninepins, keep practicing

I remember exactly how I got my wii. I was about eight years old in an arcade with my dad and we both tried to win the wii from the stacker machine. We both got close but I had to leave. But the in the middle of the night my dad woke me up and said he had a surprise. He then showed me the wii that we were trying to get that day. He actually went back and won for me. That was probably the happiest moment in my life.

This turns into an episode of Nathan For You very quickly and I love it

Bro, not to shit on your accomplishment or anything, but when the Wii was still pretty new I pretty quickly figured out the exact placement and swing needed to get a strike in Wii Bowling basically every time, to the point that NOT bowling a perfect game became less common than bowling one. Point is I'm pretty sure I bowled several perfect games in a row because that thing was jank and super easy to cheese.
Now Wii Sports RESORT bowling... that's a whole different (pardon the pun) ball game.

My grandma was a bowler when she was in her 20's. She was damn good at it.
At age 80 she was too feeble for that. She hadn't gone bowling in years. We got her a Wii. She was so happy she started a Wii bowling team at her retirement center.

I once saw a guy bowl 3 perfect games in 5 games. The two he missed he had 2 spares in one and 1 spare in the last one. So he missed in total 3 strikes in 5 full games. It was pretty epic, I don't even care about bowling but seeing that much perfection is hard not to be impressed by.

I appreciate that Eddy still only uploads like 5 times a year and has been since he's been at 50k subs. The 1.25 million hasn't corrupted him.

I got to the point in Wii Bowling where if I didn’t get a perfect game, I would lose experience points 😅 turns out I found out a spot that would get me a strike (with like a more than 95% success rate). It was great and awful at the same time 😂

i watched my friend's ex wife bowl three perfect wii bowling games in a row. she bowls a perfect game nearly every time she plays. it was completely insane. she has some trick to how she holds the wiimote. she will sit on the edge of the couch with her knees spread, and she holds the wiimote btween her legs point at the floor, and bowls from that position. its the only game she ever really plays and she has easily over 2,000 hours bowling. she doesn't even had a good answer to why she plays so much.
playing with her ruined the game for me completely. and she was a really nasty person too which made it even worse because everyone wanted to beat her that much worse
