These two have just the most insane chemistry I've seen in a while. The 2 seasons they were on was just freakin perfect. Hopefully they could find someone who would have that magical connection with Ms. Colman like how they did Matt and Claire.

I binged the whole season in a day and I wish I had savoured it a little, because now I'm missing it and I'll miss the two in the role

What got me in the series is how manipulated the Queen was by all the people who run the government or the people that they deal with everyday, telling them whether they can marry this person or that person. Whether they can do anything. This has taught me that the Royal Family are prisoners, in their own way, of being The Crown. I've got to say this is one of the most beautiful series or movies I've ever seen. It is so historically correct, evolving the costumes and the periods. I will hate to see these actors not playing these characters after the second season.

Claire did such an amazing job playing the Queen. The first two seasons are my favorite. The acting is flawless.

I didn't know they were leaving the show!!!! Nooooo! Claire Foy is PERFECT as Queen Elizabeth! And Matt Smith plays Philip so beautifully!

I love Olivia Coleman so I'm glad she is getting a crack at the role. It would be cool if these 2 came back in a few years. They could go back and forth in time between casts.

Matt and Claire are such wonderful actors. And these roles, just so wonderfully played!

I first started watching the Crown in 2020 during peak COVID times, after watching the movie First Man (from 2018 starring Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy) before the Crown series, I really like Claire Foy's portrayal of Mrs Armstrong and quite amazed even more of her performance in the first two seasons of the Crown.

I miss these two so much. I had such a hard time changing to season three. I didn’t want to bench it as much, but by the end I was sad they were gone too.

The continued series CANNOT be the same without these two....I was utterly mesmerized by their performances! I mean, totally sucked in...dreamed about it every night after I watched them!

When you can’t just get over about these amazing personas🙌🏼 kept watching seasons 1&2. I must say, they’re perfect for the roles. Now, watching the seasons 3 and 4 - it’s so different though the new actors were amazing too but am missing Claire and Matt as the Queen Elizabeth II and Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh

When I read that Claire Foy was not going to be in the third series, I was disappointed because she was so good. Then, we got Olivia Colman. Both ladies were FANTASTIC!!! Enjoyed S3 as much as Seasons 1 and 2. … PEACE to ALL … and … STAY SAFE and HEALTHY.

My favorite episode out of all three seasons so far is the last episode of season two, where it flashes back to his childhood. I was so entranced to the whole episode

I absolutely love the Crown and these two as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. It’s amazing how much they look like the real couple as their younger selfs! But watching Clair talk I could see her coming back as princess Diana to me she looks like her a bit and her body language. Please have her back as Princess Diana. I’d wish they would continue as the characters.

Love them, they did a fantastic job. Transitioning into new actors for the characters, doesn’t sound like a good idea.

Claire is brilliant in The Unsane.

For someone who obviously loves to talk soo much, they gave a role that has to talk very less and she nailed that too, genius!!

This was just sad w the host.
Claire and Matt only lit up when they interacted. Without the host. I mean their bond was blatantly obvious! He could have steered the interview about their interaction. Its what the fans would want and NEED. They're so good together!

She's perfect! I'm curious about whether or not she speaks any foreign languages fluently? Her eyes and her smile are just so captivating. She's a total goddess!

Matt Smith looks so much like Prince Harry, especially when he had the ginger beard. It's the eyes and expressions and his posture. Which is crazy that I never saw this until he played Prince Phillip. It has made me go back and look at young pictures of Prince Phillip and compare them to Prince Harry (now).
When the series gets around to current day royal family, it would be amazing to see them bring Matt back as Prince Harry. (Kind of give him a chance to show off his acting chops. Heavens knows he's sexy enough to play the part. )
Maybe they could bring Clair back as a chimney sweep extra. Lol. It would be cool to look for some of the main characters in the first two seasons as non-speaking, disguised extras. It's like a fun "Easter Egg" hunt. How many Clairs and Matts can you find in Season 4? Lol.

3:55 ... He is sent away.... In the house of dragon he is "sent away" like in each episode. I guess it is Matt Smith destiny, always play someone who is "sent away" by a royal relative :)

I just feel no effort was put into the script, scenario, not to mention the dialects, body language etc. Really disappointed in the new season.

I simply just can't watch season 3. I said I would but I'm...no. Watched like 5 minutes and just was like, uh uh...I can't. Does not do it for me. The actress has a completely different look then Claire. Different face shape. Dark eyes and hair. They could have atleast picked someone who resembled her and the Queen a lot more.
