I just gained a lot more respect for Anna Kendrick. I love how this show does not in any way censor its guests and lets them speak their genuine selves. Now I want to watch every film she has ever done.
I'll echo Mr Right and A Simple Favor recommendations. Also, up until recently I thought Pitch Perfect was like Glee or something so I never checked it out, but it's actually a really solid comedy.

Best guest I’ve ever seen on this show. She smiles almost 90% of the time no matter what she’s doing. She smiles when she’s walking, standing still, talking and being interviewed and I think she might even smile while she’s chewing hot wings, how can she do that ? LOL so crazy funny and smart as a whip. Great choice for a guest Shawn.

I bought the hot sauces and did the challenge with my brothers. I think the most surprising thing to me was the sensation that my teeth were bleeding. They weren't actually bleeding, but it sure felt like it. Pretty wild stuff.
There is a direct correlation between Anna's swearing and Scoville level. 🤣 I'm very impressed that she got through it without ever taking a drink. I could never do that.
I think she got more articulate the hotter the wings got. Faster. Stronger. She left better than she came in. Congrats Sean…you broke Anna Kendrick to the point where she came full circle.

I love the drama of Anna latching on to Sean as a solid link to reality and security while simultaneously cursing his existence. It's always a magical adventure
I like to imagine that that's her way of flirting and she only enters that mode when she really likes someone. Ode to be on the receiving end of that!
You know what, I bet you anything Sean walked away from that truly impressed by Anna. As a host that has seen it all and is always the consummate professional, Anna knocked it out the park on all fronts. Torture, pain, truth, vulnerability, professionalism, humour, no liquids- 2 people being human, eating hot wings & getting it done. Cut from the same cloth :)

Sean's explanation of different people approaching the wings differently, like athletes treating the next wing as 'one more rep' and actors digging in to be immersed in the experience, was a super fascinating take that I never thought of before.
Anna's my favourite so far. I thought Kevin Hart was hilarious, but Anna is priceless! 😂
That has too be one of the most impressive apperances of the show, she didn`t drink any water or milk. Anna with the high of capsaicin high was also very fun too watch.

One of the best episodes I´ve seen. So well edited, so interested an interview, and some new exciting stuff 19:00 - That just shows why Anna is so successful. Her ability to do a 180 within a sec. is phenominal to me
I think the only movie I watched that had Anna in it was The Accountant with Ben Affleck and it was a really good movie. It might have helped if Anna drank some milk to ease the hot spice and I really liked that she went "all in" as Sean said meaning at most of each chicken leg. I have seen several others only eat a small bite.

I’m from Maine as well. It makes me feel so proud to hear Anna talking about Maine and her childhood there. Too many people think we Mainers speak funny, with a strong accent, but in all honesty, Anna’s way of speaking and her personality is exactly what you’ll find here. The people are laid back and friendly. Personable and easy to talk to. Listening to her was like listening to my closest friends. Very similar; very Maine.
Loved Anna getting it done. And like so many, she puts Shaq's fail to shame. Bravo.
I’ve always loved Anna Kendrick. She’s been incredible her entire career even the stuff that 90% of people that like her but I have not seen her but this just put it over the top first of all she did not drink a single thing and then she showed how much of a true disciplined actress she is when she had him call action so that she could reset and become composed even though she was in extreme pain that takes a lot of discipline and then also she’s such a genuine person. I absolutely love her she’s incredible.
She is such a jewel and trooper. Can’t help but love her.
Can I just say how amazed I am that she didn’t drink ANYTHING? no milk. No water. She’s dying inside but she just powers through. And I love that she got the capsaicin endorphin rush. The best part of eating spicy food!

Met Kendrick a few years ago at a leadership conference, she's absolutely amazing with a contagiously kind demeanor.
All time favorite celebrity smile! Maybe it's an occupational hazard when so many situations require a smile, but SO MANY actors' smiles seem forced during interviews. Not her! Her eyes light up every time, so you know it's the real deal and she's truly having fun. Love her. Amazing actress. And she killed those wings without reaching for the milk once. Tough as nails!

I didn’t even know this show was a thing until I saw Anna on it. I’m a huge Anna fan but life has had me out of it lately. I’m just now learning about her dad, RIP to him. I know how she feels. I lost my dad almost 6 years ago to a homicide. Not sure how he died but I know how it feels to lose your dad. I gotta keep on track with this woman. I’m getting caught up, though!

That panic attack was incredible! The ‘you don’t understand, I can’t do another thing wrong’ line absolutely broke me. Anyone who has been in, or is close to someone who has been in that sort of situation knows that feeling intimately and she captured it flawlessly.

Awesome! 👏 Sean needs to acknowledge the, “no milk, no water” when you see someone like Anna accomplish this extremely difficult feat. I knew Anna was scrappy, but this performance definitely confirmed this trait, as well as her commitment to having so much class. 👍
@251rmartin Milk contains an enzyme that neutralizes capsaicin. (Sheep's milk contains more than cow's milk. I'm kinda surprised no one has asked for it yet.) Of course, it isn't enough for the amount of capsaicin they are consuming, not to mention that, due to table manners, most people aren't going to maximize its effectiveness by swishing the milk around in their mouths before swallowing.

@John K It's a fight to not drink since your body tells you how much you 'need' a drink, but it's the contrast between that moment of peace and the resurgence of the pain that makes the pain even worse. No moment of peace and the pain is more bearable.
@251rmartin water doesn’t really help, but for me, milk will do wonders. You are right, it will help only for a brief moment when it comes to the Da Bomb and higher.
The milk and water don't actually help though. You are only a little sated while you are actually drinking it and the moment you stop it's full guns blazing again. Better to take no breaks from the pain to build some immunity.
