Guys, good news, I calculated the Spurs Kenny's whole career points before and after the glitch where the points stopped calculating. He ended his career on 88,595 regular season points. Another 5 seasons and his total would've been about 100k :)

For future reference. If your doing career sims, use the off-season automation options so you don’t have to sit through and manually sim the off-season. You can just skip all of it and makes it easier for you

Kenny that first equation you did at 4:49 gives you how many games it would take to score 100,000 points! See if you do that number ÷ 82 (games in a season) you get: 2941 ÷ 82 = 36 (approx.) seasons :)

I did the math and throughout his second go at it, including his 2021-2032 stats, he scored 94,019 points. he could’ve gotten 100k with 2-3 more seasons

The first equation needed to be divided by 82 for the number of games played in the season too. He averaged 34 points a game for 82 games. Making 34 x 82 approximately 2800. :)

Kenny don't know if you noticed, but when you tried to add up the points manually you couldn't scroll all the way back to his draft year. It only scrolled back 30 years, so each new year you simulated deleted the oldest seasons data from his player card.

The first equation is how many games it’ll take to reach 100,000 points, so if you divided that by 82 games per season, you’d get the same answer as you got when you divided with the amounts of total points he scored in the season

Suggestion: Kenny simulates until every 2k record is broken like most steals, assist, rebound points, 3pt, etc, in a game. U can limit it so they have to break 5 out of the whatever or take an extra step and break all of them (May take VERY long)

The first couple years got deleted for some reason if you go back you can see that he was drafted in 2021 but the first year recorded was like 2035. So it must've been deleting the scoring total from the years it was deleting and adding the total onto his full total which is why it was only added around 200 every year

That re-sim made his career so much better to be honest.

I added up the totals since it deleted the first eleven years, from the 2021-22 season to the 2032-33 season, he scored 30,483 points, from 2033-34 to 2055-56, he scored 62,528. So, Kenny scored 93,011 points.

Kenny all you had to do was divide the first number you got by the amount of games in a season. The first equation was 100k divided by PPG which meant you got the total number of games it would take to reach 100k.

that's why your points totals were going up randomly, because you scored 200-300 more points than the earliest season that got replaced by the current season. sorry if you mentioned it in the video. I definitely missed it if you did

36:30 The reason 2K doesn’t calculate points between 2021-2032 is because his birthday was set to 2032 so he was technically born after those 10 years and couldn’t have gotten those stats.

The first equation is points divided by points per game which gets used how many games it would take him to reach 100000 points. u could then divide it by 82 to find how many seasons it would take

You are absolutely right. 2k is just broken. I am playing on PS4 and in every single myleague I play, LeBrons 17/18-19/20 Stats go down for no reason. So the stats he generates in the following seasons are not shown in the NBA records. It´s just annoying. Does anyone have an idea how to fix that?

I got a great challenge for you man, so basically you start of the myleague and turn on the fantasy draft and choose any team of your liking . once you do that the challenge is to find assets and make your own decision to try and get everyone back on that team you chose. For Ex- you choose the lakers and the fantasy draft moved Bron to the heat and Ad to the celtics ; your job is to move them all back to the lakers and including everyone else . Hope you do it enjoy ;)

i think it delites 10 years after that you change the player age. and that's why his number of points increase a litte bit. during the video i noticed that you can't see his stats from 2021. to concludes 2K calculates his stats from the beginning of his years pro in the NBA so when you change his birthday to 2032 2K automicatlly delete his stats before 2032. ps: i am french and sorry for the mistakes
