@Rev suction works by creating low pressure in the cup and the air around tries to get into the cup and pushes it against the object which to get a suction cup to do said thing you have to push it against the object you want to stick it to soooo unless your pushing the back of your phone against the inside of your pocket it wouldn’t stick. Duh

It didnt stick to the brick wall because he tried to stick it on a spot where was a tiny space between the bricks so it couldnt stick properly and Also the bricks are too small for the phone to fit on them vertically
Drop it in dirt, then see if it still sticks. Usually stuff like that will keep a layer of dirt, dust, ect and never work again.
Had one of those when i was young on a iphone 4/5, they dont stick to tree walls either
