I didn’t understand 30% of what he said but I still laughed, something about the way younger Kevin speaks just sounds muffled in my head, like I can tell when it’s younger or older Kevin when I can understand what he is saying.
I love the first clip because I take MMA classes against a fairly even array of opponents. One of them is a girl who is incredible at kicking, and she can get her foot onto your nose and back in the time it takes to realize that she's even lifted it up to hit you in the first place. She taught me a hell of a lot about keeping my guard up, and she's still teaching me how to defend against kicks. I'm still teaching her about how to defend against kick defenses, defensive side kick, defensive front kick, and so on. A normal kick from a normal guy, you get hit with that, I'll laugh. But when you get hammered by a front-side-round combo kick where they never set that foot back down for a breather.... There's no way you can defend against that without a solid idea of what they'll be doing, or a couple years of practice defending.
