2023 in the NYC, the most cameras per sq. mile in US. Plus a million worth of jewelry divided by 6 minus the tribute they gotta pay = not worth it. You can just spend a year in San Francisco stealing $800 a day and make that with no felony risk.

The fact that these men still get called “Mobsters” by the media is showing you the unwarranted respect the media and society has for these low lifes. Gangs and Thugs is what they really are. And they’re crash dummies to do this type of crime in 2023. Who is going to cooperate first ?

You’re right but this news report isn’t exactly accurate. They weren’t heading to the robbery. That was like a week before the robbery while they were casing the place. And the last image of the gun in the truck was from 6 months ago. He got pulled over and was somehow wearing the same exact red jacket then- as he did after the robbery

Those smash and grab robbers seem to target jewelry shops in malls, not this type of high-end stores. So most probably those smash and grab robbers only able to steal low-end jewelries, perhaps some of them even fakes, without them knowing it. So $2 million is actually a good amount for robbers.

    • Scholarly Analyst
      Scholarly Analyst 3 months ago

Just use your imagination to think of ways it can be deduced. While you are at it, think if it is even possible to be 100% certain of ANYTHING!
But putting that probability statement aside for now...think outside the box! There are cameras all over the place now. If investigators get a little lucky, they can use cameras from a whole bunch of different locations to peace together the actions of these lowlife criminals (like an old action film reel-by-reel!). That's actually partly what happened in this case.
But once you establish even a single partner-in-crime, the whole thing could "blow" open. They could get court orders for phone records linking them to the crime. Also, once they are suspected enough to get arrested, their DNA can be taken to possibly link them to the crime scene - even more deeply establishing their presence/involvement. It goes on and on and on...
Good technology in investigative tools is making it more difficult for these low lives to get away with such archaic crime. Especially when they go after such a high value targets where not only the local police and FBI will be involved. But also the company's own private investigators!

I guess what I find hard to understand is how, in this day and age, do you fence stolen jewelry? Its not like they knocked over a Claire's. This stuff is crazy expensive and unique. Wouldn't they have a hard time displaying or wearing it where no one would ever notice? like, what happens to the items? (Art, jewelry, cars) Are the purchasers getting some deep discounts or something? If you have millions to be able to buy jewelry on the black market, couldn't you just buy it in the store and avoid potential "possession of stolen goods" charges? What is the upside and how is this type of crime still profitable?

Before I repented to the Lord I was involved in several armed robberies during my adolescence (nothing of this caliber) and I still didn't learn, after my release from jail I pursued a life of drug dealing for nearly 20 years after that which I prospered tremendously.
I mocked those who worked 9 to 5 telling myself I make their 2 week pay within 1 single day which was true but my pride and ego go the best of me and a nasty gambling habit I developed even though I didn't use any drugs myself I lived off the misery, illness, and misfortune of others until the day it all came crashing down and not by law enforcement, I self destructed which lead me to where I am now, on the path of righteousness.
It is never too late as long as you're alive even if you are incarcerated REPENT there is no other way to escape the grasp of Satan and his demons believe me, these words I type are the truth. 🙏❤
Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. - Hebrews 13:3

What is the difference between out on bail and bond mean? Does that mean once they pay their money for the bond and bail, they are completely free from going to jail and back to normal life again?

If they painted themselves brown , got dressed far away inside , used a construction truck and just kept talking to a minimum they may have gotten away .. they made a few obvious dumb mistakes ..

If they were smart they would have disguised themselves as someone else at home, then have those disguises on when getting into the next disguise in front of the camera. Then the cops would chase those other guys. You have to think two steps ahead.

They also pose as godly people with intent of fabrications, against the chosen, whom they don't care to know. Isn't that crossing that above the law principle we see so much of. Shame on those unlawful tactics against the Innocent. My opinion.
