@pbitautas7 Thank you sir... and you absolutely did answer my question! It makes sense to use the Kabinet to monitor a finished or prospective profile, as many of us use the Kabinet for monitor live. That being said I must say that although we share a name, I had it first and he is younger than I am and of course much richer. Lol! Thank you for a great video!
@Dave Matthews Let me first say Mr. Dave Matthews, I love your first three albums. Second, and I can not speak for Mike on this, but it was a way to monitor in the room at a comfortable volume. Being in the room with the actual 3rd Power mic’d cab was overwhelmingly loud, and harder to gauge objectively. In other words, it was like listening to the finished profile moving air at a lower volume in the “control room.” In order to profile this non-master volume amp, it had to be in its sweet spot, which was very loud. Hope I answered your question.
