This is the kind of thing which fans do. Characters who actors have passed away get an instant pass and praise free from criticism, from performance not yet seen, mean while young actors and regulars get trashed like for projects like Kenobi and TBOBF. Had Tem passed away prior to TBOBF's premiere, the show and him would've been universally praised. That's how the silly world works.

For those saying the lightsaber that Sabine has is not Ezra's, it is. Even though it doesn't look the same, she's done some modifications to it. It even says so in the upcoming Empire magazine. She had it at the end of Rebels and she still has it now. I am super hyped for this show!!!
Rewatching the Clones Wars, it occurred to me that this era is the first time Ahsoka's actually getting to travel and see the galaxy during peace time. She was raised in the temple, didn't become an apprentice until the war started, and after the war ended she spent the whole of the Dark Times as a Rebel spy. Must be a nice change for her.
war really made a life out of ahsoka's character and to survived after so many tribulations her level of skills and strength are really rare ahsoka might even capable of creating her own faction with unique idealogies
@Samur/Aye Yes and AFAIK he should still be alive. He was working for the rebellion so he maybe part of the New Republic by now. Zeb brought him to Lira San at the end of Rebels to show him that the Lasat were thriving there and they essentially welcomed him. It would definitely be awesome to see him in live action!

Professor Huyang from the youngling arc of TCW is making an appearance in this show, which is what I am most excited about. When he says to Ahsoka: “it’s time to begin again” makes me believe that he will be part of the New Jedi order post episode 9, teaching the new Younglings how to create their lighsabers once again. Tbf in TCW he did say that he had trained Jedi or thousands of years and he will continue to train more for thousands of years to come, so it makes sense.

@I can’t think of name124 in Star Wars celebration they confirmed that we will be getting into the “Dawn of the Jedi” and “TOR” timeline, so no doubt we will be getting something about the Sith Order pre Darth bane eventually.
When I became a Star Wars fan back in 2005, my all time biggest wish was to have an animated series with a main character close to my age (13) and personality. That wish came true with TCW and Ahsoka. Then my biggest wish changed to having her survive Order 66, then having her appear in Rebels, then making a live-action appearance, then having her own show. One thing’s for certain, Ahsoka Tano is NEVER going to stop surprising us nor cease in her popularity. She has been my hero ever since her debut in 2008 and always will be and has been my inspiration through some extremely difficult times in my life and I am so very grateful for Dave Filoni, Ashley Eckstein, and Rosario Dawson for bringing an extraordinary character to life in both animation and real-life media. LONG LIVE AHSOKA!!!
Excited for this and I’m not usually excited for more rebel content. Glad we are going to get Thrawn back and hopefully we will see him be a genius on the battlefield again.

Also, the main villain of the movies is always going to die in the finale, while his character has so much more potential to tell stories about the actual Chiss Ascendancy. No chance. Stick with the books. Also Thrawn isn´t just a blue human with CGI red eyes to me. He shouldn´t look fully human, he should have some uncanny valley, alien features. There´s zero chance Dizzney will get this right. Just look at the inquisitors from Kenobi series... Also, the appearance of Rukh in Rebels tells enough about how much they understand written text. He is gray and he has long slander limbs... and that´s the only stuff they got right. Where is the nightmare-fuel factor? Bulged black eyes? Sharp teeth? Thin hair?

as much as I want to see these characters again, I really wish star wars could just have a new start in the old republic quickly, instead of them taking years to finish up all the loose ends they left in the original era
@maestrogringo it wasnt immersion breaking. if they do flashbacks, id rather them do what they did again from obi wan if it means not getting terrible CGI elsewhere. Star Wars CGI has been good but Disneys overall quality as of late in their MCU lines has been bad
It's a shame it'll be the end of summer for this! It looks like it's ready to be released now. I feel this would be much better being a summer blockbuster type of show rather than waiting until fall.

I think the events of the Mandalorian might be the reason why Sabine isn’t wearing her armour. Perhaps she wishes to distance herself for some reason, or perhaps she feels unworthy of her armour. We can’t say for sure. Edit: Real reason is the Ren’s reply if you don’ know it.

I believe that this is also going to be one of my favorite Star Wars tv shows next to Obi Wan Kenobi. I'm so excited for Ahsoka Tano. I'm looking forward to seeing lightsaber battles in the beginning of the first season.
She is a Mary Sue 1000X worse then Rey who is instantly great at everything, she "trained" for like one day with a lightsaber and was able to keep up with a Jedi. And she is NOT a Force user as far as we know...
@Mouse Metal You might want to rewatch that episode again. It wasn’t just a day, and she wasn’t able to keep up with a Jedi after. Kanan was going easy on her for a number of reasons, including for her training.
That last second keeps making me laugh. I know it’s not the case, but it looks like Ahsoka stabs Huyang after his proposition of beginning the Jedi again.

Ahsoka character is beyond deserving of her story being told/shown. Legacy had it's time...no need to kill the past but let it rest and move forward. Ahsoka is the right direction imo

We got a few years during the Clone Wars and a lil bit after she left the Jedi. Few episides in rebels and a few spots in other shows...but not HER STORY.
what atmosphere? It just regular shots of their recent productions, mix with Mandalorian or Boba Fett or Obi wan shots at you'll see no deference, moreover, you'll notice how bland everything is

I hope the fighting choreography is at least better than what we got in both the sequels and kenobi. Nothing compares to the prequel duels, but man what I would give to see that one more time.

@Darth Tojo yeah, I know people's standards are extraordinarily low, but... Look, Disney has no idea what they're doing. Until Kathleen Kennedy is out and they scrap the Sequels, Star Wars is never going to move past extremely mediocre at the current time.

I think the events of the Mandalorian might be the reason why Sabine isn’t wearing her armour. Perhaps she wishes to distance herself for some reason, or perhaps she feels unworthy of her armour. We can’t say for sure.

But Huyang is really a important part of Jedi and still Palpatine didn't give full attention sounds a bit weird to me.

Interesting. I never knew Sabine Wren wielded a lightsaber. Is Sabine Wren a jedi? If she's not then how does she know how to wield a lightsaber? This is awesome! I believe that this is also going to be one of my favorite Star Wars tv shows next to Obi Wan Kenobi. I'm so excited for Ahsoka Tano. I'm looking forward to seeing lightsaber battles in the beginning of the first season.
She is a Mary Sue 1000X worse then Rey who is instantly great at everything, she "trained" for like one day with a lightsaber and was able to keep up with a Jedi. And she is NOT a Force user as far as we know...
@Mouse Metal You might want to rewatch that episode again. It wasn’t just a day, and she wasn’t able to keep up with a Jedi after. Kanan was going easy on her for a number of reasons, including for her training.
The Dark Sabre is a lightsabre and she wielded and trained with that.
She was trained in lightsaber combat, she’s not a Jedi.
You don't have to be a Jedi to use a lightsaber.

Ahsoka character is beyond deserving of her story being told/shown. Legacy had it's time...no need to kill the past but let it rest and move forward. Ahsoka is the right direction imo

We got a few years during the Clone Wars and a lil bit after she left the Jedi. Few episides in rebels and a few spots in other shows...but not HER STORY.

what atmosphere? It just regular shots of their recent productions, mix with Mandalorian or Boba Fett or Obi wan shots at you'll see no deference, moreover, you'll notice how bland everything is
