That game was clearly won in the trenches.
O-line, D-line and LB core is CU weaknesses this year obviously.
Colorado has the worst offensive line in the nation😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@井上直樹の妻funny thing is they would probably get beat by a highschool line 😂
Franklin receiver for Oregon didn’t have anything to do with it. 3 TD over 100 yards
Put blame on Sheduer too!
Nah their whole team is trash.
This was a test to see how talented Colorado really is
They failed miserably.
And yet they lost with 100% more class than CSU. That says something.
I read that "the average price for a Colorado game is $517".....only suckers pay that!!!!! LOL
2nd might go different
Oregon makes Colorado look like a really good high school team.
Oregon's domination over elementary teams continue...
@Yeah California so what was Colorado beating? Baby mamas???
Whole bunch of jealousy because they were getting attention. It’s football.
CU has 86 new players… its been a few months give Prime his credit regardless of this game.
You win some you lose some. But losses like this really make or break you 💯💯
Exactly it’s interesting to see how they do going forward do they become stronger because of this embarrassing loss or do they crumble
Yeah but also their defense and O line are not even top 20. It’s just Colorados Throwing that has gotten them anywhere.
@RNG GOD vyea they play usc I hope they don’t have that sour taste from Oregon
There's no making something that hasn't and won't be made😂
Speed and power is what Oregon has. This game shows. What a blowout win. Respect
I was thinking the same. No amount of coaching is gonna allow Colorado to beat the ducks. Too powerful and too fast.
Respect a school like Oregon who cheats & has avoided getting punished for their cheating ways? NOT LIKELY! 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡
Coach Prime discovered his kryptonite --- a team with superior talent and coaching!
But when y'all played us Bulldogs Georgia y'all got blowed out I'm lost on yall clowns
This is one of those moments. An overhyped CO team meets a wall. How they bounce back is far more important than how they played last night. 3-1 isn't a bad look. Let's see if they're going to build off this loss or if they'll fall into obscurity.
USA next week
Their schedule doesn't get any easier. They made it thru the easiest part of the schedule. Now it's against teams that are and actually should be, ranked. Colorado had no place being ranked. And this game exposed that. Media propelled this team to being in a top 20 spot and they didn't belong there to begin with. Oregon did what they were expected and Colorado did what I expected. Now "prime" will just replace half the roster again and wonder why there's no chemistry
@Zach Noetzelthat was the dumbest statement I’ve read today. Why would you not replace a 1-11 roster? They obviously didn’t belong; many still don’t. They were 21 point underdogs and you’re acting like they were favored to win😂
@Zach NoetzelIt’s college. All the rosters will be replaced sooner or later
@Monkaycry, Mr. Colorado, cry.
Even with a defensive minded head coach, Oregon still has a fluid offense. It's like watching flowing water.
They have always had a dynamic offense
You mean like watching water flow
@robertsessoms yep, that's what they've been known for forever.
Bo Nix is an extremely experienced QB by this point, and Oregon is stacked on both WR and RB corps. TE and OL are quite good as well. Very few holes on Oregon's offense.
@robert sessomsNot when Mario Cristobal was the coach. His offense somehow made Justin Herbert look average.
The play calling by Oregon in this game was sick..trick plays..fluid offense..special teams fakes..and movement on the field was nice to watch .and defense crushed Colorado as well..they got a mercy score but that's about it
I hope Noah Whittington is OK. Last we saw he was carted off. I know Oregon has 2 other star backs, but Noah really is amazing to have on field
He's def out for season
hope he heals up fast lanning said he’s out for a couple weeks
I know Bucky has his prodigy ways with carrying the ball. But I’m almost ready to say Noah has been just as good if not better than Bucky. Can’t pass up the 4 carries for 120 somethin yards, but he’s an explosive playmaker that is fun to watch running or receiving
@Hartyman 100% agree. I think he's right up there with Irving if not better. Sucks he's down
They could put anyone behind that O-Line and they'd get 150 ypg easy
Crazy how both teams were 3-0 😂
Someone got butthurt after I said CU was a very soft 3-0
@BergI mean they haven’t played anybody until Oregon so it checks out.
@ But, but, but, TCU! You know that highly over rated ranked team and lost several key players and was only make 23 point favorites based on last season's teams.
Can’t believe people were saying CU in the national championship 😂😂
@BergRelaxed they are actually performing well with a low grade roster and a transfer QB that never played in Division 1.
Colorado doesn't have the player's they need yet... But next year recruiting is going to be crazy! This is a process!
Yaaa…
Agreed. The hype train was getting a bit off the rails for CU. They've done fantastic with how much has changed over last season.....but they ain't a top 10 team right now.
I have to disagree. This isn’t high school and you have a young team that your saying is gonna be dominant next year Colorado gave prime a blank check to recruit the best well in my eyes he pulled scholarships from some really good players that where already at colorado I’m a fan of prime but this team is in his eyes where the best recruits you can get. He got everything he wanted but made a few mistakes when recruiting
Funny how quickly yall change your tune when they loose.. Rather predictable
continue dreaming my son
I’m glad they were able to learn this lesson early in the season
HAHAHAHAHA and what lesson was that?? colorado hadn't beaten a decent team up till this point!! IT'S HUMILITY AND REALITY TIME FOR "COACH PRIME"!!!!!
USC on deck for Buffaloes. It doesn't get any easier.
Better be ready to back up that “it’s personal” talk.. can’t put a target on your back then call everybody “haters” when they wanna beat you 😂
Oh yeah Buffalo's got it bad two weeks in a row. And down the road.
@Kay Tee it’s the media’s fault. Colorado has been hella over hyped. I love what Prime is doing, but all the analyst saying Colorado is gonna beat teams that are way better than them in every possible way is wild.
@YoBigHomies very true. Some people in the media were ready to crown them title contenders right outta the gate. Today shows they have a long way to go
The best part was when Colorado finally scored they started celebrating. They were still losing by 36.
It was the same when they got the interception when they were down 21-0. Look at the scoreboard fellas and get off the field.
It’s hard to be humble when you surround by cockiness
I can tell u never played this sport in your life lmao. It always feels good to get in that endzone.
The coaches aren’t celebrating but the 19/20 year olds absolutely will every time & it ain’t just this team.
@yeudoi66you misspelled confidence
3:59 it was at THIS moment you knew Oregon was about making the Buffs look out of their league. This was a statement play. You only do this when you know the other team can't beat you. They wanted to embarass them on national television, and they did. But they also had mercy, because they took some of the starting players out of the game near the end. The score could've been well into the 70s. Lastly, the Prime Effect goes both ways. It either makes teams cower, or it makes them want to dominant you. The latter happened today.
Yep Nebraska folded but Colorado state and Oregon both brought their a game.
The "Prime Effect" is a load of nonsense. He has been outcoached two games in a row and is 0-2 in bowl games. When Colorado finishes the season 5-7, he needs to be on the hot seat. If Colorado's AD doesn't check him, I will.
Actually all it's done is show college head coaches are just pissy whiny children. Prime exposing them for who they really are as people. No wonder the vast majority of them will never see a day in the NFL. Not a fan of either team and i don't really watch college ball anymore, but the CU thing has been interesting to follow so i've been keeping my eye out.
I was looking for this comment. I thought the exact same thing when I saw the fake punt and was confirmed by the shot of the coach smiling on the side lines after. This was a "You're not even close pal" play call
Good God this Ducks team dominated them in every position
Glad to see Oregon has gotten back to a good state. Them last 2 yrs were rough. Thought Colorado would be tested this game and they were. They weren't really exposed in this game. Deion had already let it ne known that the big men slots were their weakness. It was just a matter of time before a good team exploited the weakness.
Don't forget about WR as a weakness and defensive backs. Oregon was easily stronger and faster in those positions. CO WRs getting no separation and the brief separation they did get the QB was not able to anticipate and get it to them. Rushing was terrible. Not a dig on coach Prime definitely building but trenches are not the only weakness.
Exactly. I agree with you. I don’t even think Deion expected them to win this game. It’s his first year, he just wanted to do better than last year and they did. I still respect him for what he’s trying to do with the program cause when has Colorado ever had this much attention
Keep in mind the Ducks are always competitive and have been running a top tier program for decades 🙏🏿
Actually they were no top tier program until around 2008
Oregon used to be a competitive program turned to top tier to now which is a bit on the slide from its top tier days
Are you 12? They were awful until the late 2000s.
Given all of the hype, you knew this was going to happen.
Colorado is embarrassing
I can't hate on any coach that's able to bring back football energy into a program and school. This was definitely a reminder of where they are REALLY at. Colorado did give us three very exciting weeks. But, most folks knew once they started conference play, they find out who they are.
@井上直樹の妻how because they lost im pretty sure your perfect 😂😂😂😂😂
Bro that’s the fans giving hype and ppl like you for going with it shows you jus a hater and wanna be proven right from a narrative that was never there lol
I really like Colorado but I knew this was gonna happen with how close the Colorado state game was
we all did thats why ion get why these oregon fans bein so mad and disrespectful like prime said he was gone blow them out or sumn..
@Joshua Brownit’s football man get out ur feelings this is how it goes
@Joshua Brown It's just beautiful karma, that's what they get for the way they've been acting these last couple of weeks
@Joshua Brownbuffs got what they deserved
@JSauer21 Facts and they had the nerve to walk on the O recording and flexing, one player digging their cleats into the O
Oregon EXPLOITED Colorado’s defense the entire game. By the time they scored 21 points I knew it was a done deal. Gonna be a long week for coach prime. I love Colorado’s rise but they needed to be humbled. There is fine line between confidence and arrogance. They gotta earn thier keep now. Hopefully they bounce back next week. ❤
It is a fine line but I still say they’re just confident, not arrogant. The media made it that way. They expected them to lose every game.
Coach Prime isn’t one dimensional. He can win big, and lose big.
This is what happens when teams slowly get actual game tape to watch. Each week they kept losing yards looking worse than the week before.
Iriving proving out here he’s a great RB just slips through the cracks and delivers
The o-line and d-line for Colorado is atrocious. It's tough to find future NFL stars for those positions but we'll see how many guys they can replace because that's what Deion is going to have to do.
Yes, most of the guys were lightly recruited. Probably 3 stars at best.
All the guys form the portal that are nfl talent on the line went to Oregon 🤣
Sanders pocket awareness also wasn’t the greatest. Took a bunch of unnecessary sacks dropping back like 20 yards how can the O line block
Oregon is very precise on offensive and defense
Dude #0 was going crazy on the defense that’s insane
That 5th sack penalty was a statement from the Ducks.
Oregon's coach had the pregame speech of the year.
I’ve been watching college football like it’s the NFL😂😂 I’m too invested
Lmao ion even watch football til this year and i agree 😂
The o-line is weak, but Shadeur also holds the ball for far too long. He’s not blameless
We'll see how he handles this next game. Much to take notes for
Doesn't help that Hunter is out. He's probably their best prospect.
@Panafrocanamnot gonna be any better. They stand no chance against usc
He commits self sacks but will learn
He needs to stand in pocket and throw in less than 3 seconds
The most F.A.F.O. college game I ever saw
It’s nice to finally start seeing some defensive highlights 😂
This Oregon team just reminds me of Mariota's era
Definitely
Coach prime has gotten me interested in the talent college has to offer so win or lose Its a win for the young guys playing on the other side of the ball .never been a fan of college but I’m locked in now
Anyone who didn’t see this coming either hadn’t watched Colorado play or they know nothing about football. Those are the only two options. Now all the people who said they were watching college football for the first time because of Colorado can go back to doing whatever it was they were doing before. 😂
It’s not even about watching Colorado play it was about watching Oregon play. Oregon is honestly a top 5 most talented rosters in all of college football rn. Real fans saw this outcome coming
@Winston Lewis theyre not beating usc and theyre not winning a natty.. oregon beats colorado and eveyone acts like they won a natty
like all the rappers, LOL!
@Winston LewisI have watched football for over 40 years. Yea this was very predictable. Oregon a top 5 team? Very good team and may make the playoffs possibly, however they don’t have what it takes to keep up with the SEC or Big 10.
@Tie One Onthat's what your problem with them is? You don't like their fans, or should I say you don't like a certain type of fan! The Buffalo will be fine in the near future! The recruiting is going to be amazing! Deal with it! Personally I'm happy for all those loyal Colorado fans, they deserve some good times!
The first Half was total domination
The whole game was total domination lol.
The whole game. 42-6 sacked QB 7 times
i wasn’t even a fan of Colorado until Prime started coaching but honestly when i seen they were up against Oregon i knew they were gonna lose Oregon is literally a powerhouse
"I wasn't even a fan of colorado until prime started coaching" so you're a bandwagoner. Funny, people usually don't admit that
This game was over before it started a complete domination by my Ducks..From Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
And the result that we all knew was coming. USC will score even more. This game was the biggest point disparity between two ranked teams since 2015.
"I know I have on shades, but I can see the future and it looks good." Words of wisdom 😂😂🤣🤣💀
Feel like Travis would have made some big plays this game
Although I’m not a Auburn fan It’s crazy that it seemed as if Auburn’s system basically made Bo Nix look like a ineffective QB. Look at em now. Glad he’s doing his thing.
nah fr I don’t follow CFB super closely but i thought bo nix was well past playing and even at auburn he looked like a mediocre system QB. looks like a whole different player now
@Connor MignaultI mean 7 years in college will do that lol
@thewind6047 Right. Dude made a career out of college football not saying its bad but I'm pretty sure he knows his NFL dreams are slim to none
Auburn has been ruining quarterbacks for years
Pac 12 ain't no SEC. Them are boys different in the south
Everyone talking about Colorado and nobody about how good Oregon looked they completely embarrassed what I think is still a pretty decent team
Prime got his behind handed out to him!!!😂
I think Shadeur needed a game like this. We need to see how he bounces back during the season. I honestly don't thing Travis Hunter would've done much for this game or the next. But if Coach Prime is serious about this job then he needs to get rid of all the cameras and all the hype videos. Your name can't win these games. I do think in the coming years he can probably build CU into a solid team. But right now, Oregon looks like a dangerous team, firing on all cylinders
So does this mean Deon's son isn't going to win the Heisman? 🤪
Coach prime out there looking like an urban youth football coach and his team got ragdolled like one. ☠️☠️☠️
They tore them another one in the first half. Meanwhile CU was not only beaten and beaten badly it was a badly coached team. Look at all those penalty yards.
Oregon had numerous penalties as well. This was a talent issue. It had little to do with coaching.
@slylockfox101 Wrong poorly coached team Deion is no good cant tackle cant block poor play calling they will be 8th in the pac 12 this year
Dieon Fanboys last week, "greatest rebuilding job ever"
After a blowout loss,
"We told you they weren't that good yet"
😂😅😂😅😂😅 🤡🤡🤡🤡
That facemask looked intentional
@b.r.6175 So what do you think the score would have been had he not rebuilt the team? One literally has nothing to do with the other. It's possible for it to be a great rebuilding job while at the same time they may not be ready for bigger programs.
It takes time, but what coach prime has done already is great.
But I thought Colorado already won the national championship in week 1 against TCU because Deion Sanders is their coach. They are the media's champion. Prime is supposed to be untouchable.
❗️🤨🤨🤨❗️ Why do you care that Coach Prime and COLORADO are getting coverage.....Coach Prime is Doing What he's Supposed to do....He's Greatness and Shine don't take away from yours.....you sound Jealous and bitter.......Female tendencies......
Oregon and their 50 SEC transfers looking strong!
Oregon just made Colorado look like Oregon did last Year vs UGA😅
My takeaways from this game: Offensive coordinator for Colorado has got to move into max protection generate offense; defensive coordinator for Colorado has got to go with four down linemen and scratch the bandit LB, DC needs to rely on dime coverages more; Oregon dictated the game from start to end; they controlled every faucet of the game. Awesome job!
This looked like a Loaded NFL team Vs a College Team . The Colorado Buffaloes got Stampeded by Oregon 😮.
by the Oregon Trail you might say
Rail roaded I tell you
As a packers fan. Memories of niners vs packers, playoffs.
Gotta remember that like 98% of colorados roster is just leftovers and sloppy seconds from other teams
By ducks
this was bound to happen ALL that energy they used trying to keep up the Hype and add on that 2OT win last week i think they were just exhausted mentally and physically.. They arent quite there yet they need a few recruits which will obviously come plus Oregon looks really good right now. like Nix was almost throwing a perfect game there for a while they are something Dangerous
Straight up put on blast.
I’ve been riding with Coach Prime since JSU. The true essence of a champion is how you respond after facing adversity. USC, “We Coming!” I BELIEVE! We all BELIEVE!!
Oregon's O-line and D-line are both impressive. They move opponent at will.
Colorado needs to get the big boys in the weight room if they want a chance next year.
Oregon coach said he was gonna run the score up 😂😂😂 and he did
They should thank Oregon for not holding back. Now coach needs to do alot more for his team to compete at level that’s worth all the hype.
Actually he did hold back. They put in their second team on offense and defense. Good luck to coach prime and the rest of the team. I'm rooting for them the rest of the way.
What kills me is that causal football fans don’t understand Deion is about to out recruit everybody this offseason. Laugh now cry later I’m not laughing at a first year head coach
Lmfao you dion haters crack me up smh I wonder if you guys were in Alabama’s video comment section when your Saben took an L
Not even close lmao CU doesn't have the money to do that. And no kid wants to go to a losing team
These young men need that loss! It's the chip that they needed on their shoulder. The first 3 games were major confidence builders that had them feeling unstoppable. Needed loss...
We’re all here for the humbling of Colorado 🔥🔥🔥
1 loss is not going to make it any less impressive for a team like Colorado to be able to get a shot to win or lose against a great team
The biggest problem seems to be the O Line and/or Saunders freezing up when under pressure
Coach Prime has done great bringing excitement back to Boulder. He was never going to win a National title year 1, it was going to be an uphill battle but hes already exceeded expectations. Give him time to recruit on the line and theyll be alright.
It was obvious both Offensive and Defensive lines of Colorado were not up to par with Oregon made the difference
Yeah there is a huge gap
Or receivers, or runningbacks or corners or linebackers or
This...when I watched them play Colorado state I knew any ranked team with a run game would run through that shaky dline
Well, I have you know that this loss is part of Prime's strategy. 😶
Seriously - who in their right mind thought Colorado would beat Oregon. Prime has made a difference no doubt - but we can’t expect miracles. Give the man time.
This CO first time seeing OR we already knew this was gonna happen but you still have to salute CO they went from 1-11 last year to 3-1 so far
Deion is the king of hype! That is what he will be best remembered as.
I laughed deep down from a good healthy place the entire game 😂🍿
This is what coach prime meant when he said he needed that beef up front. Colorado was due to come back to earth but I’m still rooting for em to do their thing this year n beyond. Definitely captivated the sports world.
Forgot which analyst said it, but he made a really good point. It was impossible to rebuild Colorado oline and dline in one year through the transfer portal. But this is also the worst team Colorado is gonna have. They have recruits calling them now. Players wanna go to Colorado. Travis is locked in for one more year. And it looks like shedeur is gonna stay for another year. They're definitely playing for the national championship in the next couple years.
I expected nothing less from this game. Oregon always had a high power offense, and the defense this year is awesome, too. Colorado is building something, but they have to sure up that O line and D line as well.
"shore up"
This game showed to me not that Colorado was overhyped but that Oregon belongs in the playoff.
This game is a testament to how important a good offensive line is. Colorado had no time. Oregon had all day. Until they get a better line on both sides every game against the top 10 is gonna go exactly the same if not worse
This felt like the bishop (or whatever) high school game all over again
Bishop sycamore 😂
That second Oregon TD was cool as heck
This way absolutely amazing to watch. All the talk all the over confident players and fans. Beautiful destruction of a hype train. 🥰
Agreed. Colorado played a BIG BOY SCHOOL And proceeded to get punched in the mouth.... I couldn't stand the media with this team yeah they won 3 Games but they hadn't played anyone YET. Oregon Shut them up. You can't make Colorado the talked about team and ignore Oregon WHEN THE GAMES IN OREGON!!!!! That's disrespectful and Oregon took it personally. Colorado...... USC Is Next Good Luck you will need ALL OF IT
@NAZE FACTS
Hating does nothing for YOU
@Flying Spacerock yes it does it made me happy 🥰
How is Bo Nix still in school it feels like his 4th school
If not with Oregon, it would’ve happened with USC
Go Ducks!!!
As someone that played college football. The biggest gaps between schools is not the skill players, it’s the big guys upfront and having depth at that position. Even Deion said it himself that he needs about 7 to 8 dawgs at the O line and D line position. To be honest he’ll need more. During the season, they have to go recruit south of the Mason Dixon line and get some beef upfront before they can compete with the elite schools.
Facts
Oregon also had the better QB.
There are plenty of big men above the mason Dixon line that are “dogs”. Well not dogs but talented human beings with fight.
Wisconsin consistently has big white men that can play OL and DL better than ANYONE
So does OSU- year after year, top big white guys from the north that go top 10 in NFL draft
Not sure you or Deion is accurate that you need to go get “dogs” beasts” from below mason dixon line to have top level football lineman
You are exactly on point
@Winston Syme he been in college for 50 years he should be better than all quarterbacks he's 25 years old lmao
We mew this would happen and its good for now, coach prime will get his players but as for this year i had them still being over .500 which is far more greater than last year
Went from 1-11 to 3-9 what an improvement!
5-7
What a hater 😂
Conman funny asf for choosing a one win team, so his d riders could say “well he improved them!!!” lmaoooo
3-1 at the moment ..
I told myself I wouldn't be surprised with any way the game went. A little shocked it's so close.
You must not have watched Colorado last week. They barely beat a very mediocre Colorado State team at home...
@rdgipson must not have read my comment
Hahaha! That's what "Prime timing" instead of hardwork and good coaching will get ya'!
Oregon wasn't to be fooled with
I knew this would happen
Ducks are beasts
As one of the announcers said, OU has multiple play makers. Add that to excellent defensive and offensive lines, OU may be in the playoffs conversation in about three more weeks.
We'll seen in the playoffs
I think it was about time Colorado got humbled and I’m glad the Ducks could be there to do that for them. Really is a stand up team
I made a lot of money today on Oregon -20.5.
Logic and the ESPN "pundits"' confidence that "Colorado couldn't be blown out" allowed me to place my wager with absolute confidence. Shedeur is not only not a Heisman candidate or a legitimate NFL QB, but if his father weren't the coach at CU, he'd be worrying about his job security right about now.
@Zenigundam, a deer in the headlights. Couldn’t scramble around and play schoolyard ball, and couldn’t dodge in the pocket or find a quick check down, throw it away, or find a running lane 90% of the time. Total joke. All hype. Total BS.
"They are what we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!"
Oregon played with so much more effort
They hype was too much. I knew we was gone do that. WE THE DUCKS
Shadeur said I don’t want to enter the draft and come second to Caleb Williams 😂 don’t worry you’ll be 100th after this game maybe
This game makes me realize how well my brother did when playing against Oregon every year when he was at Portland State. Oregon Ducks are a hard team to beat. Let alone even keep in stride with.
GO DUCKS!!! 🦆🦆🦆
THAT WAS PERSONAL
Can't wait to see the Ducks get clobbered at the Dawg house in a few weeks
I'm disappointed but not completely shocked Colorado lost. They enjoyed the taste of victory and success early on. This will be an interesting test of their true character and leadership in how they handle adversity and defeat. Congratulations to Oregon and thanks for posting. Be safe 🙏
Oregon was so smooth this game
Colorado needs a run game and an O line and faster players. Way too many holes in their game. This is def a learning experience for them and very useful game film for them to build off of. They will def learn what they need to do to be a good team. They were clearly over hyped but if they can learn from this embarrassing L, then they can probably be good next year…. If they can recruit some needed players for sure
Would’ve like to see the impact Travis hunter could’ve had this game. Probably wouldn’t have changed much but still that kid is needed
I think Colorado going to finish 5-7 or 6-6. That's good compared to last year being 1-11.
Oregon straight up exposed Colorado’s o line. I was expecting more of a shootout but shaduer had no chance.
His backpedaling didn’t help either. He has to learn to throw the ball away or just go down. The yards they were making up today was overbearing and insurmountable
@The Oyup, he does that ALL the time. He doesn't have the elusiveness of Lamar Jackson or the strength of Ben. He should try and get out of that as much as he can.
The WHOLE team got exposed not just the o-line.
COVERAGE SACKS Can't blame the O Line! Sanders held the ball past 3 seconds instead of getting rid of it!
They been saying they are under sized.
They did em green, literally. Good game
