I for one am excited for a new off road vehicle to add to my collection, especially one that looks to be based off of the legendary mitsubishi pajero. More pilot controlled ordonance for the avenger will be cool too, and the mew jet of course, but for me the highlight will always be the almost trademark infringing vehicles that rockstar alters in some small way and really adds to the whole gta experience.

The jet balance in GTA is a little really needs an update. With the B11 (Ground attack plane) being the best dogfighter, and the Lazer and Hydra (figher jets) being the best ground attack jets. Lets hope this is a good one.
My hope would be that it looses the dogfight vs the F16 but has stealth and rougue or B11 MG's and maybe better radar missile range like the chernobog. That would be cool and realisitc.
Also the B11 needs a dogfight nerf and a massive MG buff. Definetly needs to be better than the Lazer/ Hydra. The GAU-8 Avenger Gattlin gun is insane IRL. It's a joke in the game and needs a buff desperately.
At this point with all the flying/weaponized vehicles proximity blips/off radar entirely might need to be a feature.
After watching the trailer in 0.25 speed, here's what I noticed:
-An armed version of the Buckingham Conada helicopter
-A hotring variant of the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire
-Thruster being stored inside an Avenger
-A new offroad vehicle
-New jet has VTOL and delta wing design, meaning it's a hybrid between the YF23 and the F35

Its not a hotring variant its the charger e muscle and theres a new mitsubishi and jet the delta wing aircraft isnt new

I know everyone is excited about the new jet but, i feel like im the only one who is more happy about he avenger getting upgraded and being actually useful
It's plenty useful, 23 rockets to bring it down so I use it to ram helicopters and oppressors out of the sky, and you can park certain cars like the toreador in the back and drive them out mid air. It would be nice to see more than 50 ammo for it though, 1 or 2 bombing runs and you're out.

Gotta remember tho you're a giant box in the sky on GTA. I'm sure there's plenty of people who would love to shoot you down
True, but it handles pretty damn well and can outrun homing missiles if you spiral downwards. You can crash it full force into the ground 3 times and take back off in vtol mode before an engine breaks, it's pretty tough.
@RabbitRampage certainly is massive if you have 2 people. I feel like I usually just see 1 person in them so it'll be stationary while they shoot from the back. I feel in a situation like that someone can easily spam RPG and explosive sniper shots but itll be a serious struggle if it's also moving around at light speed 😂
Yeah here we go with another update and hoping we can all be done with this game soon I loved it every since the day that it dropped but in my opinion it’s time to hit us fans with something new soon 🔜

The stealth fighter jet is looks like a hybrid between F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. Also, the VTOL and STOL tiltrotor military transport aircraft is looks like a V-22 Osprey.

Nice that your going to be able to customise a couple of helicopters with missile systems. Personally I cannot wait to try out the missions and fly that F-35 jet

I still recall the hangar missions which aren't much fun at all, even if you do like planes and such; completely bug ridden and have been for years. So I'd be keeping my expectations in check ;)

It looks like the mix of an F-35 and F-22 which are both stealthy aircraft irl so this could be like a jet with stealth mode like akula and stuff.

This is be a cool story to finish gta online with. Your character ends up head of a merryweather style company with all his businesses. That way in a later game you can throw in a alittle Easter egg

@Vito Scalettait dev won’t cause it would be impossible with the keybinds but I think it will be off rader when you don’t shoot and fly at high speed
@Gewoon Een boy Not impossible, not even on controller, just time consuming to figure out where to map said features too. or. maybe, when in conventional flight and no weapons selected stealth mode. when in VTOL flight or weapons selected stealth disabled.

You could do it so that we can say in the options: whether we want to have the yacht or the aircraft carrier active, then there is enough space, or an apartment in the aircraft carrier would be nice Thank you for adding a new hot jet The sounds like in the trailer? would be sick or that the jet can break the sound barrier and it can be seen and when rockets or bombs hit there is a beautiful black cloud thank you again

So from what I can see in the trailer
- new offroader.
- new hotring variant of a bravado or imponte (body looks bravado, but grill reminds me of the dukes)
- canoda is getting weapons, thought it would in the update we got it, but nope, but will now.
- a plane that looks like the mammatus, but the propeller moved from the front of the cab, to on the sides on the wings.
-new livery for p45 nokata, or new prop plane.
-someone said the wings of the avenger look changes or new, I havent noticed, but could be blind.
-plane to the right of the avenger in the hanger shot looks new, we dont have a plane where it has a flat engine fuselage and where you can see the engine behind the props, could be a multitude of type of planes like that, but best I'd say to understand what I'm saying is a crosshair from ww2 pacific front.
-the thrust can be held inside the avenger now.
-new trophy style truck, or upgrades to the old one, as you cant get body panels like that on it.
- the new jet people are hyped for, I hope it's good, but I'm split between wanting it better then the hydra and lazer due to how broken they are, and wanting it as good or less then them due to how broke they are.
And so far that's all I can see aside from maybe new clothes or style of preexisting clothes
At 0:15 you see a helicopter flying to an aircraft carrier. Will that be something we can own, like the submarine or the yacht?
The new jet has gotta be a Pegasus vehicle. They haven’t advertised any different liveries for it, just recolors of the same one. It’ll probably have explosive cannons and work the same as the hydra, but no flares, chaff, engine upgrades or armor upgrades.
If it is Pegasus you will still be able to put it in your hangar and I doubt they will make it non upgradeable as all of the newest jets and planes have the ability to be fully customised
I think it will be I'm not sure if the avenger is a pegasus vehicle but it might be aswell once it comes TUESDAY

for those who dont know, this update will only have a couple contact missions, and 10-15 vehicles to release over the course of 3-5 months. Dont get too exited

Rockstar has a talent for making their trailers and newswires look a lot better than the actual update turns out to be. Perfect example is the Blood Money update from Red Dead Online, they made those newswires and trailers look as if we're getting an awesome update and look what we ended up getting - basically a glorified stranger mission update.
That jet fighter looks like a combination between the F35 and YF-23 experimental stealth fighter.

I expect this is one of the last updates, and I'm all for it. If GTA Online has anything its longevity; ten years is a long time to support a game, and 343 Industries can only dream of achieving that with Halo Infinite.

i used to get dizzy and nauseous when I was playing this game. It turns out that some people experience motion sickness when they play fps games this is because our eyes are looking at the moving objects on the screen,but our bodies are sitting,so our brains get confused.you can relieve this symptom by taking a break after playing games also, make sure you’re not sitting too close to the screen
VTOL is great but what about thrust vectoring? That would make the new plane VERY interesting indeed...

you should really buff the large bombers and size/splash of their bombs, its so cool to see them fly around but also extremely rare cos their so useless
Finally another aviation update, fingers crossed for an AI to help with hanger work or the option to source multiple crates as a solo player, I been waiting so long I love aviation
Bruh I dont think they gon bring no AI but itd be a nice dream, hangar work is pretty tedious still I heard n it's still infested wit bugs, AI is something I cant expect but hell hopefully they can reduce the amount of time it takes to deliver bought supplies
@rysaucyyiggity well they have an AI in the other ware house you pay like 7500 bucks and they generate between 1 and 3 crates in I think 30 mins or something like that which doesn't seem like much but it adds up alongside the player doing it

I like how every time they NEED to show a jet will be "strong" they put a lazer being destroyed by it (in smugglers run they did the same but with the rogue xd)

I recommend you to install a self-destruct mode in the chernobog, so that if it is not already destroyed by a player every 5 minutes, it will destroy itself

@SnyroWell I was assuming it was either the C or B variant at first but the smaller wing span and smaller landing gear suggests it is the B variant, also I'm assuming by keeping it's weapons in it's body could allow it to "go off radar" because of the F-35's stealth characteristics.

This update seems to be about controlling the sky, but I don't know, it maybe just a bunch of MOC kind of missions.
I wonder if the abnormally massive explosions mean they're buffing the alkonost bombs? would make sense since all those big planes are currently useless
