Shocking, some of the worst Tornado destruction Ive ever seen. I'm hoping everyone there had shelter underground or were able to escape.

And may the People Never be sent to one of those 100% human enslavement experiences that are being dubbed as smart cities. Nothing but stack 'em and pack 'em til one dies. Walk to everything in 15 minutes, but can never walk for an hour to get anywhere else either.

As someone who was hit directly by Hurricane Ian there really no words to describe how these people feel inside who are looking at the destruction the next morning. The best way to describe it is that shock mind numbing feeling the instant you learned a family member died. But by the grace of God and hard work they will recover.

Certainly is a tragedy for those families with deaths, injuries and structure loss. On the aerial wide angle shots I see plenty of intact houses and other buildings. Across the street to the south of the water tower there's two 2 story wooden homes that are intact. The tornado went by them by maybe 100' looking at Google satellite. The tornado path is fairly narrow which helped most of the town escape. Tornadoes do bizarre things.

After 32 years of being a responder, I don't miss having to assess the damage. The toughest part for me was trying to gently explain to the victims question of "why". In Florida we dealt with hurricanes almost always. This gave us time to load up our vehicles with whatever we could scrounge up, to hand out to those most in need. I'm satisfied for being able to help, although when seeing these it just brings back more bad memories than good ones. God Bless all of the first responders!!
