its not a decade. twitch is on "keep alive with as little effort as possible mode" for years now. sooner or later that little effort will not be enough, youtube is already better with most functions and people need a little push to move over.
I left twitch a couple years ago because of things they were doing way back then. Somehow they just... keep doing dumb shit. I'm glad tho. Twitch was taking up all my time and holding me back. Moving to youtube changed my whole life and I actually have a career in content now.
Twitch has been ultimately self destructive over the years, Glad you've found success on Clip-Share especially with how difficult discoverability has been for the past few years.
Yeah, this is not the first time asmon has said this. It made him a millionaire. He's never leaving. As far as twitch making continuous poor decisions, that is also true.
Very glad that I don't go on Twitch and literally live off this man's Clip-Share vids instead, you got an enormous audience that's here to support you in any decision you make, man, regardless of the platform.
@Catshyt Lol, no. Search how much makes Google compared to Twitch and the pressure from the cancel culture culture etc. is much weaker against strong sites, at least from LAW pov. Stick to memes.
@evilbabaroga basically it'll disable all bots (no more automod = mods have to manually trash) and make you unable to access reddit via 3rd party apps (like apollo) and disable all addons (like 3rd party captions and text to speeches) TLDR more spam, blind people won't be able to use reddit at all, and you can't use any 3rd party apps that are just way better than reddit. unless those 3rd party app devs come up with *20 million dollars* a year to keep their 3rd party access (they won't)
Over the years I've gone from trolling Asmond in WoW Classic (Pirates) to respecting him for being a humble, normal person with a lot of influence and money.
I'm 32 years old now. I cant remember the last time I was on twitch watching something live. I always watch stuff on youtube now. It's much better for me with less free time. I can watch something 40%, continue later and not miss a thing.
Only time I watch twitch, is a twitch drop from WoW or PoE that would cost me money in real life then I log out for the next three months or so till it pops up with a tmog for 3hrs viewing.
Twice has gotten progressively worse over the years and youtube as a whole has gotten better. This is a great video and I hope everyone moves to other services. I prefer youtube myself because I can just watch the ads and then go back and see if I missed anything important. I'm sure they would give Asmon a GREAT deal and not require anywhere near what Twitch does for it. Thanks for the info Zack.
@LinkatchuYt has better enforcing rules considered Twitch brute force it while yt only did it to "bad" actors Also that nuking channels happen alot less now than it is 4-5 years ago like how they side TotallynotMark when Toei(a massive company) tried to strike him 20 times just bc he used anime footage without their premission even though other ppl using it without ask them Sure yt is not all good guys but they're def alot better than twitch since at least they have some good feature then and there while twitch has none but backlash
"Lets hope his influence can sway the idiots at twitch hq" screw that, they've showed their hand. It's time to swap sides. Clip-Share Wins. Twitch loses.
Just wanted to say thanks Asmon I found your content in 2020,and I have appreciated how you help people to think more critically. Keep fighting the good 'fight' man 😊
Asmon posted a video reacting to a video saying Twitch will be dead in 7 years 3 weeks ago. in that video the monologue says that Twitch will destroy itself. oh how he is right. that video was created by PatrickCc
This is inevitable when you have a CEO running the company. Unlike a founder with a vision, the CEO wants to squeeze every penny he can out of the product for a year in order to give himself a huge bonus, then leave with a huge severance packet.
Apparently Twitch do not make any money. They spend about as much as they earn and its why they're squeezing thye piggy bank. Learned that from Ludwig's video 3 months ago about Esports.
Considering the past two years his Clip-Share channel has been more successful than ever. Phillip DeFranco has shouted him out and he has a lot of connections to multiple Clip-Sharer content creators already.
@snickle1980 This is exactly it. its more than just greed. Its about staying afloat and they are desperate. I honestly think they are going to push this through.
We need a lot more of this in all dealings with any brand or corporation: prove to them that if they are screwing you over, you WON'T simply put up with it, and that if other choices are available, that it's their loss if you leave them. It doesn't matter if you're just some rando that's a drop in the bucket to them, each individual who just puts up or shuts up is one more reason for them to not improve, unless he looks out for himself and stops being used. The more people we get like this, the more likely we are to see positive changes for once.
The medical restrictions are a bit ridiculous. Things like 'Keeps' comes to mind. I can understand not allowing snake oil salesmen, but some of these products actually work. Twitch not only wants a piece of the pie, but they also want to make affiliates/partners desperate enough to follow their ad scheme. They really are trying to milk the platform for all its worth, and I guess that they have a right to do so. I just hope competitors gain more traction and viability to make Twitch a thing of the past.
I think the medical one is because advertising prescription medicine is illegal in most places, and I think that's mainly because a lot of governments don't want to privatise the medical industry and end up with a situation like they have in the US where getting medicine to treat sicknesses actually ends up costing money from the people who are sick instead of the people who are sick getting paid money. And honestly I'd be scared of that too.
@Jadedploverou’re wayyyyyy off lmao twitch doesn’t want to be held legally responsible for advertising something that the government already has a monopoly over and do not want to be involved in an industry that has a lot of lawsuits. literally no one gives a shit what it costs the consumers or what happens to them. and governments have a lot to gain from privatised industries, they benefit the government the most and why would twitch have anything to do with that anyway lmaooooooooooo
What’s crazy is I can see this man do more on Clip-Share than Twitch. I only heard/watch him on Clip-Share, so it makes sense for him to just convert to Clip-Share full time
@Some History Nerd Oh yeah, then they take a moment and everyone really looks into each other's eyes and they all say in unison "The real Twitch was the Twitch we Twitched along the way!" Brought me to tears. 😭
Glad you committed to taking some sort of action rather than just saying how it's bad like everyone normally does. Rare gigachad moment for these sorts of bad news videos in general.
After what twitch did to Drdisrespect like 500 years ago I honestly thought people would wake up and the fact that we are here and there is surprise in your voice validates my loss of faith in the mental capacity of the human race.
Asmongold TV A Round of applause to you brother, not for the fact that you addressed this nonsense, but how you addressed and tore it to pieces. Much respect for the transparency as always.
This seems to make ad reads impossible. On Clip-Share you can do ad reads with branding placement. But you cant(on Clip-Share) just run a burned in ad made by the company itself, as I understand it. But with Twitch's new rules, you can even do ad reads because most companies require you to have their branding on screen at some point. And for some a certain size on screen. So Twitch basically is taking away the creators ability to have sponsors that are ad reads.
I've only started recently watching you, so it was surprising to hear about your fundraising for Ukraine. As a ukranian myself I want to thank you for the support.
I think it's crazy Asmon doesn't have a double-digit multimillion dollar contract with kick or rumble. My guy deserves it. I won't even open twitch anymore. Good luck Asmon, keep doing you.
a 50/50 split is already insane. i understanding that they are providing content creators with a platform, but every other aspect of the finished product comes from the creators. 50/50 would make sense if there were no other platforms, but there are and there’s NOTHING that makes twitch unique. i’m sure YT and mixer and leaping with joy
You know you fucked up hard when Asmon, who has always been fond and probably in some way have a bit of loyalty to Twitch, is looking for a new platform for the first time.
@Matt Stashin He has said that if anything goes bad he will leave on multiple occasions, yes. But this is the first time he has said he will actively start looking for one now. Complaining about your job and actually going out and looking for a new job are completely different things.
my literal first thought when i heard this story break, listening to xaryu live, was " every ludwig event that includes twitch creators is dead, every otk live event is dead, every multi sponsored cs:go event is dead....." this is utterly is insane. even self sponsoring is choked into oblivion.... i genuinely dont understand how this grows twitch in any way.
Full time Clip-Share is what I was saying. Take your twitch audience with you, and filter out the ones that don’t realize that you have grown up. Your content is important for young people.
One thing i like about asmongold is that even when i agree with him completely, the way he talks about something makes me want to play devil's advocate and debate him. I think he'd be fun to debate, even if it goes nowhere ultimately
People need to realize, other platforms are watching what eachother do. If certain policies don't negatively impact a platform, other platforms will weigh the pro's and cons of adopting a version of those policies. If a policy negatively impacts a platform, other platforms will shy away from the risk. People primarily have to ensure that bad policy turns into a big enough failure for Twitch in order for other platforms to not think of adopting it even if it means jumping platforms and taking your viewers and subs with you.
this is why you be a legend my man, lives off 2$ steak and a microwaved potato this man aint ever going broke.. and if he does then nothing will change will it XD
I'm a weed smoker and I completely agree with everything you said about alcohol. I've witnessed the darkside of alcohol first hand and I'm proud to say that this Dec will be 4 yrs without it.
I shouldn't be surprised, but wow, is there any end to corporate greed? Truly disgusting on Twitch's part, will not be visiting their platform anytime soon
My man the content you make and also view to tell us the rights and wrongs of things is plenty of content for me. I will follow you off the platform if you go.
I live on the other side of the world and can’t watch asmon live, but I watch all the Clip-Share vods the next day. Leave Twitch to die. We will still be here.
Asmongold woke up that day and chose the war path! I feel inspired to go kick the a$$ of every load of bs that comes in my path, and I'm only 4 minutes in. Stand tall, stand strong!
@Matt Stashin Well at least Ludwig doesn’t have to deal with the twitch situation, not only just Ludwig, Fuslie left because of the DMCA Process situation which made her move to Clip-Share, and Valkyrae moved because of financial reasons for her mother, so those two dodged the bullet.
I’ve been waiting for years for Asmon to move to Clip-Share. Heck, if he could negotiate a deal through Rumble, Asmon would make ALL the money. No joke.
I don’t watch you on twitch because I’m not comfortable using Twitch, I’m exclusively a Clip-Share fan and I just wait for you to post content on here. BUT HOLY SHIT!! If you come to Clip-Share Then you can count on me to be watching you Live!!!!❤❤❤ +1 view❤❤❤
Just going to put this out there, I have been aware or @Asmongold, I don't live under a rock, and I think he's a humble and intelligent man that I have ben viewing a little more lately as of Diablo 4, and I think you have an opportunity to create a platform here, as for Twitch they are allowed to do as they please, I for one would never wish for them to feel they can't, they are a monopoly and they are choosing to utilize that in a way I don't agree with personally and obviously Asmongold does not, I'm going to click subscribe after this video, and I want to say if you make a platform id watch
The political thing makes sense since you have to offer paid political advertising slots to all eligible candidates, and Twitch can't make sure their content creators are doing that. Twitch also isn't a platform at this point, they are a publisher, making them potentially liable for creator content. So that makes sense. The easiest thing for Twitch to do in order to not get into legal trouble here is literally just to give creators more freedom, that way they are individually liable for the content and baked in ads they provide.
I was considering trying twitch to help grow on you tube. Time for a rethink that's for sure nice frank opinion executed with facts and knowledge as always thank you.
I dont twich much anymore, you're one of the rare one i'll watch and a few others playing classic wow/poe but if you and people move elsewhere, i'll gladly follow just for the content. I have monopols.
Twitch seem oddly determined to destroy any form of success they've achieved over the span of a decade
keep up the great work mischief hope your day is going well
The problem is that they are not very financially successful.
What have they done
Good to see ya bro! Still remember that whole quantum tv fiasco- we got the last laugh in the end ;)
its not a decade. twitch is on "keep alive with as little effort as possible mode" for years now. sooner or later that little effort will not be enough, youtube is already better with most functions and people need a little push to move over.
I left twitch a couple years ago because of things they were doing way back then. Somehow they just... keep doing dumb shit. I'm glad tho. Twitch was taking up all my time and holding me back. Moving to youtube changed my whole life and I actually have a career in content now.

Yeah, this is not the first time asmon has said this. It made him a millionaire. He's never leaving. As far as twitch making continuous poor decisions, that is also true.
But you get hardly any views on your content?
You've found your way into my life too. The algo has blessed you
@BalanceMeOut how many do you get?
Very glad that I don't go on Twitch and literally live off this man's Clip-Share vids instead, you got an enormous audience that's here to support you in any decision you make, man, regardless of the platform.
I’d be one of the thousands of +1 live viewers if he comes to Clip-Share ❤❤❤❤
@Pakinov who said anything about winning more?
Twitch take all of your free time and they added ads. No, thanks. YT I choose you.
@Catshyt Lol, no. Search how much makes Google compared to Twitch and the pressure from the cancel culture culture etc. is much weaker against strong sites, at least from LAW pov. Stick to memes.
Twitch saw how hard Reddit was destroying itself and said, "hold my non-alcoholic beverage".
🤣
what did reddit do?
@evilbabaroga Trying to make users pay for API which has been free up to this point
@Iron Chariot does it affect the end user? im using reddit and have no idea about this.
@evilbabaroga basically it'll disable all bots (no more automod = mods have to manually trash) and make you unable to access reddit via 3rd party apps (like apollo) and disable all addons (like 3rd party captions and text to speeches)
TLDR more spam, blind people won't be able to use reddit at all, and you can't use any 3rd party apps that are just way better than reddit.
unless those 3rd party app devs come up with *20 million dollars* a year to keep their 3rd party access (they won't)
Having watched this 'live', i can only say the editing is really first class, professional quality, well done editors, thanks.
trying to watch the raw VOD and it's all muted
@Hjörtur Einarssonthat's interesting. I'd assume that would have to be manually done
@panzerswineflu where does he stream
@abdiazizishere i think twitch
Over the years I've gone from trolling Asmond in WoW Classic (Pirates) to respecting him for being a humble, normal person with a lot of influence and money.
He just has common sense. A lot of people lack that nowadays.
@ricardo alvarez true
I watch vods on twitch more than the live stuff because I know I'll be bombarded with ads and dumb shit
@Torokil sadly there are ads on some vods aswell :(
Twitch subscriptions is too much.
Patreon is cheaper.
I watch Clip-Share videos without ads guilt free with patreon
@rehey esd adblock already blocks all youtube ads what are you paying patreon for lol
Twice?
Clip-Share has not gotten better
@ProbablyPragmatic don't worry it wasn't a personal attack you can calm down now
@ProbablyPragmaticYou mean the _woke-bogeyman?_
@LinkatchuYt has better enforcing rules considered Twitch brute force it while yt only did it to "bad" actors
Also that nuking channels happen alot less now than it is 4-5 years ago like how they side TotallynotMark when Toei(a massive company) tried to strike him 20 times just bc he used anime footage without their premission even though other ppl using it without ask them
Sure yt is not all good guys but they're def alot better than twitch since at least they have some good feature then and there while twitch has none but backlash
We are happy to see you here, on YT. It's time for changes, Asmon!
lmao
Good to hear Asmon taking a stand and helping smaller guys on the twitch website.
Lets hope his influence can sway the idiots at twitch hq
"Lets hope his influence can sway the idiots at twitch hq"
screw that, they've showed their hand. It's time to swap sides. Clip-Share Wins. Twitch loses.
@Teekie 92 It is a sad day when google wins
People should ask the decision makers why they did what they did by messaging them on LinkedIn
You people are so gullible, it's hilarious.
nah, just don't sway them. let the website burn and die out.
Just wanted to say thanks Asmon I found your content in 2020,and I have appreciated how you help people to think more critically. Keep fighting the good 'fight' man 😊
You think you've seen Twitch make every possible mistake already, but somehow they find new ways to destroy itself
Can anyone tell me the theme song at 6:15 pls ?
You mean like Blizzard ?
YT and Twitch racing to the bottom
Asmon posted a video reacting to a video saying Twitch will be dead in 7 years 3 weeks ago. in that video the monologue says that Twitch will destroy itself. oh how he is right.
that video was created by PatrickCc
Wow, Asmon just keeps gaining my respect more and more throughout the years
Lol
Funny, total opposite here
Lost my respect
Meeeeh
asmon, literally everybody will follow you to whatever platform you go on.
Facts
@John Farr Definitely
i thinks asmon has even more audience in youtube to be honest
This is inevitable when you have a CEO running the company. Unlike a founder with a vision, the CEO wants to squeeze every penny he can out of the product for a year in order to give himself a huge bonus, then leave with a huge severance packet.
@moodycxnt There is 100% a difference because of intentions.
Days since teenagers on youtube try to make cherrypicked arguments for why capitalism sucks: 0
Apparently Twitch do not make any money. They spend about as much as they earn and its why they're squeezing thye piggy bank. Learned that from Ludwig's video 3 months ago about Esports.
@Hellcat Kenny You need to think bigger
a founder is a ceo majority of the time lmfao .
Can't wait for all my favorite youtubers to come back to youtube! thanks twitch :)
This is huge. Asmon has invested so much of his time on the platform, it's no small thing for him stay this.
So much time profiting off of theft 😢
@RelativelyDumb The cycle is gross.
Switching to Clip-Share makes so much sense for him tbh
Its gonna be fitting if YTs biggest competitor gives them their biggest boost
@JBoogieDTB nail on the head.
Considering the past two years his Clip-Share channel has been more successful than ever. Phillip DeFranco has shouted him out and he has a lot of connections to multiple Clip-Sharer content creators already.
Well idk if they’re looking to pinch ever penny, that’s a tall tale sign of something lurking (probably economically struggling)
With YT algorithm is should boost discoverability as well.
It’s insane to me, that this is happening now, especially with the rise in popularity of alternative platforms, such as kick and rumble
@OffTarget i’d honestly argue twitch losing money doesnt matter. Owning twitch is a powerful tool
The more people we get like this, the more likely we are to see positive changes for once.
Asmon im glad your out here making people think responsibly. This will probably be the nail in twitch's coffin... Kick is about to get a lot bigger.

@Jadedploverou’re wayyyyyy off lmao

Twitch killing Twitch is the most Twitch move that Twitch could have ever Twitched.
My favorite part of the movie Twitch is when the superhero said “Oh yeah, it’s Twitchin’ Time” and twitched all over the place.
@Some History Nerd it's yuri time
The Twitchiest Twitch that Twitch has ever Twitched!
@Some History Nerd Oh yeah, then they take a moment and everyone really looks into each other's eyes and they all say in unison "The real Twitch was the Twitch we Twitched along the way!" Brought me to tears. 😭
The site is literally twitching and in the "oh god someone call 911" kind of way.
Glad you committed to taking some sort of action rather than just saying how it's bad like everyone normally does. Rare gigachad moment for these sorts of bad news videos in general.
you the goat asmon. hope ya day is dope man! appreciate you speaking on everything 🤞🏻🙏🏻💯
Every time Twitch does something I say to myself "how are they going to mess up worse than this!" Well, there it is boys.
Thank you for standing up for what you believe in.
Can we just appreciate how much effort Twitch puts into making terrible policies.
if people continue using it, nothing will change, is that simple
wait, didn't you just use this comment, Word for word btw, in the clip version of this video ಠಿ_ಠ
@bee eater because content creators get almost nothing out of the twitch ads and what puts food on the table for many are the sponsorships
After what twitch did to Drdisrespect like 500 years ago I honestly thought people would wake up and the fact that we are here and there is surprise in your voice validates my loss of faith in the mental capacity of the human race.
Asmon, no matter what happens we will always love and support you.
Once more wanna thanks Zack and all the people who helped raise money for Ukraine, it means a lot for us!
The micro he just did from the dragonborn music to saying Blizzard fucks barbarians as the music hits its peak was legendary.🤣
It's wonderful to see twitch destroy itself. Hopefully more and more people will move over to Kick.
never have seen asmon this energetic in a video ever, thanks to the man for actually saying how it is
Asmongold TV A Round of applause to you brother, not for the fact that you addressed this nonsense, but how you addressed and tore it to pieces. Much respect for the transparency as always.

I've only started recently watching you, so it was surprising to hear about your fundraising for Ukraine. As a ukranian myself I want to thank you for the support.
Asmon saying what has to be said! Kudos to you man!
I‘d watch you way more on Clip-Share than on twitch, that’s for sure.
I have been slowly getting used to how Lives operate on YT, if they made the search function/Lives section better it would be great!
Keep pushing out stellar content bro. The community has your back G. You'll bounce back. Fuck em.
I think it's crazy Asmon doesn't have a double-digit multimillion dollar contract with kick or rumble. My guy deserves it. I won't even open twitch anymore. Good luck Asmon, keep doing you.

Asmongold is such a based man. Love the content
It's ur show brother u can get ahead of urself all you want I'm gonna sit back and love every single second of this❤
You know you fucked up hard when Asmon, who has always been fond and probably in some way have a bit of loyalty to Twitch, is looking for a new platform for the first time.
@Andrew066he is a literal multi millionaire. he couldnt care less about making less money. its about principle
@Andrew066 they wouldn’t have if twitch didnt take 50% instead of the original 30%
@Matt Stashin He has said that if anything goes bad he will leave on multiple occasions, yes. But this is the first time he has said he will actively start looking for one now. Complaining about your job and actually going out and looking for a new job are completely different things.
Imagine OTK would leave twitch for another platform. This would be an insanely powerful move
my literal first thought when i heard this story break, listening to xaryu live, was " every ludwig event that includes twitch creators is dead, every otk live event is dead, every multi sponsored cs:go event is dead....." this is utterly is insane. even self sponsoring is choked into oblivion.... i genuinely dont understand how this grows twitch in any way.

Clip-Share isnt better twitch terms of service are garbage but atleast its not hidden in obscurity like youtubes are
25:30 hearing these words..... i can't even express how it feels ....
So glad Asmon is willing to fight those hyenas! So proud of you dude💜
One thing i like about asmongold is that even when i agree with him completely, the way he talks about something makes me want to play devil's advocate and debate him. I think he'd be fun to debate, even if it goes nowhere ultimately

Imagine how good a world without alcohol would be
I love this guy forever and always
big proud of my boi. tho im not sure whats goin on with twitch. glad he goes his own way
this is why you be a legend my man, lives off 2$ steak and a microwaved potato this man aint ever going broke.. and if he does then nothing will change will it XD
Even if Asmon quits Twitch i'm sure Zack will keep us updated and entertained here on youtube 😄
@Matt Stashin make Clip-Share videos?
Now we have to just enjoy the sight of Kick literally abusing Twitch's stupidity and taking their streamers
This needs to be one of the most liked videos on Clip-Share to “maybe” have some push back. Thank you for this!
4:15 Asmon earned a like for mentioning 'alcohol is poison'
I'm a weed smoker and I completely agree with everything you said about alcohol. I've witnessed the darkside of alcohol first hand and I'm proud to say that this Dec will be 4 yrs without it.
I shouldn't be surprised, but wow, is there any end to corporate greed? Truly disgusting on Twitch's part, will not be visiting their platform anytime soon
Waiting for you here on youtube! I don't go to twitch almost ever but I would definitely watch you live here.
BIG up Zack ,give out one last thanks to twitch for everthing and jump in the Musty stang and drive away to the next one !
Havent seen the guy be this riled up in quite some time, lot of thruth spitting right here. Good job Assmongler
To be fair you guys are the one who MAKES Twitch become Twitch, if you moved your fans definitely will.
As someone who is suffering MASSIVELY from alcohol abuse and addiction, trying to kick it but failing, I get that reason. Man.
huge respect to asmongold for talking about that immediately
Dont care where you go platform wise, we'll support you if its a transition
My man the content you make and also view to tell us the rights and wrongs of things is plenty of content for me. I will follow you off the platform if you go.
I live on the other side of the world and can’t watch asmon live, but I watch all the Clip-Share vods the next day. Leave Twitch to die. We will still be here.
PREACH ASMON PREACH MY MAN!!! Speak for the voiceless ❤❤ stand up for those who don’t have a voice to call this stuff out ❤❤❤
You're a real one asmon 👍
You know twitch will panic and stop this and hope people will forget about it only to push it out of the blue at another time
His facial expression when he mentions how many nerfs barbarian had. I cant
Twitch is literally digging their grave way much deeper than ever before.
Asmongold woke up that day and chose the war path! I feel inspired to go kick the a$$ of every load of bs that comes in my path, and I'm only 4 minutes in. Stand tall, stand strong!
Angry asmon is my favorite, dudes a genius when you get him fired up
Twitch doesn’t even care at this point, Ludwig made the right choice moving to youtube.
No joke.
I didnt think Kick had a shot at replacing Twitch, but Twitch did everything in their power to make that inevitable.
watching this and Zepla yesterday was insane. never saw both of them so furries. twitch turned them into pyromancers
i felt like taking over the world after this speech
Good for you man. Fuck Twitch.
Just going to put this out there, I have been aware or @Asmongold, I don't live under a rock, and I think he's a humble and intelligent man that I have ben viewing a little more lately as of Diablo 4, and I think you have an opportunity to create a platform here, as for Twitch they are allowed to do as they please, I for one would never wish for them to feel they can't, they are a monopoly and they are choosing to utilize that in a way I don't agree with personally and obviously Asmongold does not, I'm going to click subscribe after this video, and I want to say if you make a platform id watch
i like asmon. he carrying OTK by himself. i dont care about the rest of OTK but twitch gonna miss asmon lots.
out here doing gods work asmon
The political thing makes sense since you have to offer paid political advertising slots to all eligible candidates, and Twitch can't make sure their content creators are doing that. Twitch also isn't a platform at this point, they are a publisher, making them potentially liable for creator content. So that makes sense. The easiest thing for Twitch to do in order to not get into legal trouble here is literally just to give creators more freedom, that way they are individually liable for the content and baked in ads they provide.
I would watch you more on YT then I do on Twitch.
What a way for twitch to destroy itself
If this doesn't kill twitch, other platforms will probably start doing it too...
I was considering trying twitch to help grow on you tube. Time for a rethink that's for sure nice frank opinion executed with facts and knowledge as always thank you.
Finally!!! Thanks 'Asmon' to come to reason!!! Man, Long time Twitch's been "crazy crap".
Regards from Tabasco, México [Land of The Olmecs]!
I was done with Twitch several months ago. Welcome to the club, Asmongold.
You would think Kick would kill Twitch but apparently Twitch killed themselves 😂
Having a prominent platform to jump ship to if need be in the background definitely puts some pressure on twitch though
@lord B🐝 Apparently fuckin not.
Some people dont understand that ripping off your customers hurts you in the long run…. Coming from a company that huge, that is terribly sad
I dont twich much anymore, you're one of the rare one i'll watch and a few others playing classic wow/poe but if you and people move elsewhere, i'll gladly follow just for the content. I have monopols.
