Klopp was in Mainz for 18 years and still has a house here so I don't know why Dortmund Fans always act like they invented Klopp when he's only been there for seven years. That's kinda disrespectful. Dortmund was surely his more successful time after Mainz but please don't act like you made him😁

He did not leave Dortmund for Liverpool. He left because there were only two options: sell 80% of the players or get a new coach and Klopp decided to give it to a new coach.

I like to say that when Dortmund is playing with the Südtribüne at its back, the ball is kept out of the goal by sheer sound pressure.
Schalke support is amazing even when they lose, some of the best and most loyal fans

Gladbach Fan bin ich und bin regelmäßig da in der Kurve.
Leider sehen wir uns nächstes Jahr nicht mehr. Macht’s gut in der zweiten Liga und auf Nummer wieder sehen du Lappen.

Everything is better then England apart from maybe France, I go to Italy sometimes, been to the Inter/Milan derby and that’s the best I’ve ever seen, also been to Madrid, Spurs and Benfica Porto but that all didn’t come close(altough Benfica Porto was sick aswell(

I was visiting Germany last month and was lucky to go to the Schalke vs Union Berlin game and even though Schalke ended up losing that game like 6-1 it was the best atmosphere I've been to for a game before. Unreal how many major teams are so close to each other in that part of Germany. A magical place for any football fan!

@Chad Jehebej Sorry for any confusion I wasn't saying they were. Union was playing at Schalke when I went but there are like 6 teams around Schalke including Leverkusen, Dortmund, Bochum, Cologne, Dusseldorf and a couple more I'm forgetting.

It’s real simple. We watch his videos, Clip-Share pays him well enough that he doesn’t need to go to college. So he travels the world watching soccer, which just extends the cycle

Dortmund also doesn't have the potential it has had in previous years this season... rn they're not scoring as many goals, but they're winning games which they bottled in past seasons, if they're able to maintain this consistency and the crisis at Bayern prevails we'll see where it goes. But I mean... I think Bayern will pull it together and I also think it's not always fair to always put this expectation on Dortmund. I mean look at who Bayern is bringing on from the bench and who Dortmund has.
Worry about your own season as a Spurs supporter. Bayern can win the UCL, if they slipped up in the Bundesliga. Those wins against Inter and Barca is no fluke this season.

I hope nothing bad happened after the match. That's how the true fans or "ultras" should react. Bringing atmosphere to the game and support their club 90mins straight and after the match is over both groups go their seperate ways
German football world for you! 🎉 I am a proud fan of Hannover 96 since I was 6 years old and 22 years later in 2. Division in Germany the derby against Braunschweig is still absolutely crazy and played in a full stadium with 50.000 people. It’s second division guys 😅 Germany best fan culture.

The english football has to many games and is to expensive. But the people in england really still love this game. I always appreciate every game and the atmosphere around in the championship , league one or lower. The mood around the stadium, in the pubs.... I don't like to compare atmospheres, for me it's more the people who live the club, wherever they are.

The team put it a great shift. It took some individual brilliance on our part to break them down. Keep defending with that effort and I think Schalke will take some serious scalps this season.
Don't know if somebody else mentioned it already but the energy of the guy with the fixed knee walking with the fans is definitely worth one.

very good video loved every bit. you re doing a great job of capturing the atmo :), as a dortmund fan however i just gotta correct you on one thing: yes it is called signal iduna park but only because of the near bankruptcy from 2005 then they had to sell the stadium to an insurance the signal iduna company. so basically a dortmund fan would ALLWAYS call this beautiful stadium the Westfalenstadion, Westfalen being the region Dortmund is located. If there will ever be a Derby again you have to visit Bremen vs. Hamburg it is still the 2nd biggest Derby in the Bundesliga and once was the biggest. They maybe doesnt have 80k stadiums but the athmosphere is amazing
I'd suggest you to go see the Western German Derby of 1. FC Köln and Borussia Mönchengladbach, it's one of the most intense Derbys in Germany, next to Union/Hertha, Dortmund/Schalke

Hey Thogdan, I'm Maurice from Dortmund. At the derby I was also live on the Südtrebüne. And of course we cheered on our BVB with everything we have.
I like your vlogs. There are already many derbies, which certainly all have their own special charm and your great peculiarities and fans. if you were to ask me which derby is probably the loudest and also the most heated, then my decision would probably fall on the derby between Raja and Wydad Casablanca, which is very unknown in Europe. However, I assume that it should be very difficult for you there to get a family seat from which one also still gets something of the game. It would be worth a try for sure, from the atmosphere of madness and I say that as a very spoiled Dortmund from the atmosphere. greetings

As an Englishman who has been living in Germany for the past decades I can only say: you really nailed it, mate. Great video, you got everything right, really enjoyed watching. Is Dortmund versus Schalke the biggest match over here? Yep, maybe. However, another one to watch is Cologne against Mönchengladbach. That is very fierce too, you really want to go there one day. There are also a couple of very intense rivalries in the eastern part of Germany which tend to get quite violent - so, as I would like you to survive the matches you watch, maybe you want to skip those 😀😀. Another feisty one is Stuttgart against Karlsruhe - although this doesn't happen too often because Karlsruhe normally plays a league lower. After that match policemen actually know why they deserve their salary - if it's a quiet day there will only be around 552 arrests😁. And another extremely fierce game is Frankfurt against Offenbach. But like West Ham facing Millwall it just happens once in a blue moon due to the fact that Offenbach are normally in third or fourth tier - or after a very favourable cup draw. Anyway, maybe I will see you at one of those games. Cheers, and keep up the great work.
@A Yep, correct, Werder Bremen vs Hamburger SV, that's definitely one to watch too. Went to see the match quite a few years ago when both teams were regulars in the Bundesliga. Stadium was rocking, as the atmosphere at football games over here in Germany is generally really great. And the tickets are also affordable, so it leaves you some spare money for a Bratwurst and a beer, or two, or three...😃. Cheers

You need to experience the Copenhagen Derby, from both sides. FC Copenhagen and Brøndby. Just like this atmosphere!

@timsctr I wouldn’t say they hate it, but they are very much stuck up their own ass with the whole “Premier League is the best league” which it is, but they behave as if La Liga means nothing and it’s easy, which it’s not.
More importantly players who play well in La Liga are not considered as good if they played the exact same way in the Premier League.

AC Milan - Inter is a game you cant miss. Always tifo's they've worked on for months, and the atmosphere is insane. Or atleast was when i had the chance ot go there.
