cuz its so fake, rust are just fake, the gpu and stuff allmost intact and the cpu had a brand new thermal paste that was the best part ahhahahaha

The question here (as there is always something to question about these magical restorations on channels like this) is who the hell would get a case like that and a high-end chipset (top of the range Ivy Bridge Z77) board for overclocking like that back on those years for using it with a cheap entry level pentium processor. It is like buying a 400-600 even more dollars board in current money for using it with the cheapest 100-150 dollars processor (it's like using a 600 dollar ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero with a 100 dollars intel i3 13100F, it doesn't make any sense). Also wondering how he realized failure was specifically in that asmedia ASM 1083 PCIe chip but couldn't revive the GPU he had also found, it would have been wonderful to see that restoration 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's like getting an X570 board and sticking an Athlon 200GE in it. It's not even going to be that good. and to not even repair the graphics card expecting the integrated graphics to be much better is not right. These fake restorations have to stop 🛑🛑🛑.
@Wiisportsman Yeah, a Crosshair VII Hero X470 with that APU or a ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme EATX X570 paired with a Ryzen 3 2200G.Motherboard in the video was the top notch back then, high end expensive boards looked like that, an enthusiast (original owner and no one on the world) would NEVER build that combo for this guy to find it 10 or so years later easily as finding a dime, it doesn't make sense, that combo was never ever built until this restoration guy did it, so what happens here is this guy build these PCs with old parts, he tests them to POST, then he throws them in the mud, he pisses on them, he shits on them... then he "luckily" finds them and "magically" restores them with water and detergent and couple of pokes with a digital tester and that's it! LOL They fooled me a bit at beginning, nowadays entering to watch them as mythbuster 😁🤣

Não é tão antigo assim, chip Z77 é o top de linha do socket 1155 da 2ª e 3ª geração dos i3, i5 e i7, essa placa mãe deve ser de 2011 - 2012, o gabinete também é mais "moderno", antigo pra mim seria um pc do final dos anos 90 e início dos anos 2000, um amd k6 2 500mhz, ou então um pentium 2 333mhz que são do final dos anos 90.

@DHYAN CARLOS Os parafusos do PC voce tem que litrealmente só encostar! nada mexe, nao vibra, nao tem perigo nenhum deles soltarem.
Mas algumas pessoas apertam como se estivessem dando torque na roda do carro! aí quando enferruja, realmente nao sai mesmo.

Não precisa fingir não! Já encontrei bem melhor que esse, e pra não dizer que tava completo, faltava o mouse e a tela, é um Intel i7, estava completo mas não estava dando boot, no mesmo dia coloquei para rodar. Tô com ele até hoje! Obs.ouve outros que achei e em bom estado tbm.
BTW, you should never dump a PC without first removing the HDD (and destroying it) !

even though its unclear how the PC got in the landfill (was that part staged?) the restoration does seem real, because in the end the PC did power on and boot. Though I wouldn't be using a 60 GB SSD in it. I'd instead go for a 128 or 256 GB SSD

1. he switched motherboards through-out the video, it went from 4 ram slots to 2 ram slots during the washing.
2. it even switched hands from an older person to a slightly younger person.
3. WHY OUTSIDE?! ANYTHING CAN GET IN TO THAT PC. DIRT, DUST, GRIME, EVEN BIRD POO.
4. ALL OF THAT JUST TO INSTALL WINDOWS 7 AND PLAY SOME ANCIENT GAMES
5. That did not look like pentium.
6. The "soldering" he did at the start wasn't even how to solder.
7. How come there were like 3 perfectly clean and brand new looking mice magically leading him to the pc. WITH A HIGH-END LOOKING GPU NEXT TO IT. AND HE STILL DIDN'T USE IT.
@PaullyBoiPlays 1. if you look closely the motherboard remains the same throughout the video. idk in which order the video was filmed but I can tell its the same motherboard, you probably didn't see two of the ram slots because they are black and so is the board
2. there are obviously multiple people working on this, this was confirmed before
3. I used to do the same outside because its easier to work in sunlight on a table rather than crouching on the floor
4. They used whatever SSD they had
5. I can't be sure about that but LGA1155 pentiums do exist

I know a lot of people say these videos are fake but how much time he spent cleaning up that motherboard and then plugging it in after and testing it.. Very impressive stuff!!
That's because most of them are definitely fake. I've been building and repairing computers for over 25 years, and even the worst machines I've found in dumpsters, on the side of the road or in land fills are never this bad. You could leave a machine like that outside for months in the rain and it would never get that bad. I've repaired some machines that were in fact outside for months in the rain, or submerged in basement floods, and they were not even close to what you see here. Hell, I even pulled an old PowerMac 6500/250 that fell in a storm canal and was beat to hell in a flood, and it didn't look that bad.
But you have to give them credit for artificially corroding, rusting and damaging things to make them look somewhat credible, plus the camera work to make them look like they've actually repaired something. These videos jump around frequently because they chop them up and edit them a ton. You also have to give credit where some of these videos are actually genuine and not fake.
People can waste all of their energy getting mad at fake restoration videos, but I just look at them as free entertainment. We all know it's wrong, but someone put a lot of effort into making these videos, and they're fun to watch. It's always hilarious seeing them take a paint brush to a LGA socket and completely wreck the board and end up with a working thing at the end, that you know was impossible to begin with.

This video looks fishy as heck to me. What throws a red flag for me is @ 9:38 when he is scrubing the motherboard. Watch the built-in DVI/VGA connector on the motherboard keep a eye on the 'BLUE' label. During the entire scrubing process that 'BLUE' label does not come off. If you pause the video right at 10:10 time stamp when he lay the heatsinks on the motherboard. That 'BLUE' label looks to be well attached still. Now forward the video to 10:25 when he places motherboard on the table to put it back to together that 'BLUE' label is gone.
