@bruce halleran eh it is subjective. Like Simone said the Cybertruck is a statement while also being extremely versatile. If you can get over the looks, it really is a super capable truck with a lot of versatility. Plus I think it looks super cool and I do want one. But to each their own. And that's ok.
@bruce halleran Honestly I like the actual cybertruck better. I’d bet in this case it’s more that not only was she expecting something more like Truckla but she was USED to that type of a design so I’m not surprised she was shocked.

All the ranch people I've known are looking *only* for something that can haul lots of stuff for cheap, and the cybertruck is only one of those things. Plus they can't fix it up themselves or take it to a regular mechanic since mechanics need specialized training to work on testlas professionally which makes it even less appealing to a farm person who's used to fixing up old trucks for the last 20 years themselves

I love that at 11:40, both of you have that "Two guys talking shop about trucks" stance. He seemed really sweet, and just a guy that loves cars and gets excited to talk about it with anyone else who also loves cars/mechanics. That moment when Cybertruck comes out of the fog on stage, my first thought was it looked military and possibly armored. My second thought was this is it? This is the best they could do? It was *_ugly_* ! The face Simone made when she turned to the camera spoke to me. She looked exactly like I felt about the new Tesla truck. You gotta love her.
Hey! You really should do a video on how it turned out. i.e. how it functions, tailgate, how you weather sealed it. The little details about the Truckla that you love and hate, wish you could have done differently or better etc.

We can all agree on that the cybertruck is weird but it is also a bold move. From a business perspective it probably makes sense becaue they seperating themselves from the competion. This is just a side effect to get sales going but i like when cars look different.
The Cyber truck won't be produced for two years still, so they have plenty of time to improve it, but internal combustion will still be competitive as it's still more reliable at this moment

I love that you had the guts to do this to a brand new Tesla. I would be super sad if being invited to an unveiling show meant I couldn’t bring Truckla. Your vision is a million times better, easily. And keying the truck I think made Elon throw something at his own truck and break the window, but your reason made so much more sense.

@CoverCode I love how its made. No stamping machines or big long process that makes it expensive. Just a flat piece of stainless steel getting laser cut, folded and assembled. Other car companies should really pick up its style. It could really reduce the cost of cars.

So your charge is just about empty, you find a garage with a charger, and you discover you have to go uphill 5 more floors. Scary.
Yeah, I'm honestly scratching my head at whoever decided to put the superchargers up there. They weren't being cheapskates, you would have needed to run all the extra wiring and whatnot up there, which would have made installation much more expensive. Somehow, they managed to find a location for the superchargers that was both more expensive, AND less practical.
@Matthew Smith It may have to do with fire safety. Here there are a lot of buildings that dont want them at all because it is such an issue. Some fire department have already complained that its too hard for them to fix such a fire if it were to start. So i can imagine other countries strugeling with the same stuff.
Loved your truck. I think tesla should learn something about their recent truck design. I'd love to see some suspension mod for raising the ground clearance somehow.

I was SERIOUSLY expecting to see Elon ask the crowd if you were in the crowd so he could invite you up on stage to speak with you about Truckla! THAT would have made this video so much more fun, for me. Despite me wanting a Model 3, I love your Truckla! I love too that a woman took it upon herself to build her own Tesla truck! I know this happened ages ago… but I thought by now they would have come up with something more similar to Truckla…. I think people still prefer Truckla…. It is actually useful! And prettier than that weirdly shaped 1980’s car of the future. I think if you could get away with it, you should have started a modification for these!

Great conversion, looks a bit like a Proton Jumbuck ute here in Australia. If they (Tesla) made something like this with a bit more ground clearance (maybe even a 4x4 version for me) I reckon they would have a sales boom here.

You should put a small lift kit on it so it sits a bit higher off the ground
Your Truckle Model 3T is cool! You need to look into a slight suspension lift. When your hauling a heavier load, you want to make sure you maintain clearance.
I feel like Simones face when the car was reviled was every single persons face in the world when they saw it.
yeah these days eh.... Sure it's got better acceleration, more carrying capacity, higher ground clearance, onboard air, 220v power ports, and chargers in the bed... but omg it's ugly.. oh no..
@Bob Smith We it's ugly and ready to break and I'm not talking about the window. I've used a truck for actual work and they're build hardy to survive that sort of work. Guarantee you take that truck on a worksite and half of it will be broken before the end of the day.
