Russian Forces Shocked! British Mastiff MRAP Armored Vehicles Secretly Already to Ukraine

- The United Kingdom sent armored vehicles to Ukraine for the first time as part of a new £100m package of military aid. President Zelenskyy warns against "delay" in offering different weapons and equipment.
In early April, the British delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mastiff mine-resistant ambush-protected and infantry mobility vehicle [MRAP] and a Jackal or MWMIK [Mobility Weapon-Mounted Installation Kit]. The information was published in the Army Reconnaissance, and the Belgian online edition claims the delivery has already been made.

From David A. Wood: It is really great that the democracies of the world, the USA first among them, are collectively doing something decent by rallying around Ukraine in its time of need. My only complaint is that the democracies aren't donating the potent weaponry in appreciably larger numbers to the Ukrainian Military as the Ukrainians are merely being given just enough to defensively hold their own against the invading Russian Military as opposed to victoriously ejecting it..
As of now, the USA has finally given the long-desired green light to friendly countries to donate American-made F-16 attack jets while it has also decided in concert with the UK, both decisions made belatedly in my opinion, to give Ukrainian Air Force pilots training to fly the donated F-16s. Hopefully, the Western-built attack jets, along with the earlier donated Western-built MBTs, will both have beneficial effects for the Ukrainian Military's dogged war effort in the future. That is, if the valiant nation of Ukraine will still hopefully have a future that is worth having. Let us all hope that will be the case!
David, I agree with all that you have put in your comment. Looking back though, I remember before the invasion started when different heads of state or their military leaders and diplomats where trying to convince Sergey Lavrov to stop the amassed Russian troops from crossing the border. The British head of armed forces, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, was stopped by a member of the press and asked what had been discussed in the meeting. Tony Radakin replied "that he had offered a completely private and confidential meeting in which the subjects discussed would never be revealed if it would avoid the invasion". Apparently, Lavrov, being a true Russian replied "that he did not know what Radakin was talking about" and that "the three hundred thousand troops at the border, where just taking in the scenery". Radakin then told Lavrov that if they invaded that the west and it's allies would make sure that Russia would be bled dry of Money, Weapons and a means to produce anything to replace either. Is this happening! I think so. Is this the way to slap 'Putin' about! I don't know. I fear what seems to be inevitable or maybe even planned, we (the UK) and our allies will be dragged into this war.

Look at the offensive in Kharkiv, it was driven by high mobility, lightly armoured vehicles. In the days of anti armour weapons, you could say armour is less of a priority than speed and visability. BTRs armour is null, and you're locked up, looking through a letter box.

Going by most conflicts in modern times to be on the winning side you have to be lightly built and agile, lightly armed, preferably with a simple easily made automatic rifle, carry no heavy armor or even a helmet, be prepared to live on rice/off the land, wear sandals or sneakers over heavy boots and jeans or pyjama pants instead of combat fatigues with annoying armor sewn into them and be prepared to live in caves tunnels etc oh and also grow a beard

When you sign a treaty you stick to it otherwise your words are empty in all past and future treaties. Russia should bare this in mind since they signed the same Treaty. Luckily it seems like they have donated quite a large stock to help Ukraine too. I think God is helping Ukraine in it's just and noble cause alongside all the nations of the free world. They were used a few weeks ago in an attack on Russian positions and 5 of them broke down on the way. The lucky Ukrainian soldiers were able to abandon them and return safely to their own lines..They are now being melted town in a Russian foundry.

Yeah, but did the people survive? Most tend to. They're mine-resistant, not mine-immune. The V-hull deflects the blast of a land mine or improvised explosive device (IED) away from the vehicle to protect its occupants. A common thing to see is the axles, engine and what not blown off. But for the most part the crew will survive. Definitely a bit rattled and definitely a guarantee of TBI. But at least in the moment, they're down a vehicle, not a squad.

Like do you even know what kind of MRAP it was? MaxxPRO? RG-31? Cougar? MATV?
Because I mean I'm doing my dirty work. Not finding anything relevant other than literally MRAPS being hit by stronger munitions. (with a survived crew) Then literally an article about an MRAP being hit by a mine and the crew survived.
There are literally IED's that have detonated in Iraq and Afghanistan more powerful than a mine, that have completely wrecked these things and the crew survives. and these were MATV. The lightest you can get for an MRAP. Very few cases in deaths, unless it was a VBIED or literally a oil drum or two filled with HME.
The only thing that gets these down is literally anti-vehicle munitions from tanks, thermobaric bombs, Skifs, literally anything stronger than a mine.
I'm just saying there's a difference of your opinion on what you saw, and based on first hand experience. In other words there is levels to this, I've actually ridden in these things, supported CIED and route clearance. Seen a lot of guys survive. The only ones at high risk are the gunners. Because I mean if you don't know what's in today's munitions and think mines are packed with "extra TNT" I think you're a little naïve to the subject at hand.
