Classic case of you've got to win the game when you're playing against the drift. I knew what was going to happen when it was sill a 1-point game at the business end of the 1st set. Both these guys have killer attack, so must win the game when you're on the side where you get a bit of a margin with your clears and lifts. Simples.

LZJ is still one dimensional player.He gets his points from smashes and very little from anything else. If he doesn't change, he will only be a one hit wonder.

I think LJZ played pretty well for this game and obviously LJZ could be a winner for this game. The second game he played too chill in the beginning and a little bit drama skills therefore he lost. Whereby the Shiqi played wiz hunger to win and attacked .

Too many unnecessary errors from Lee. He should easily be world No.1 right now

Just let LZJ play his game. At least he can fight with world best players even though he always loses. Can't see he will improve just the same style. Everyone has its limit. Maybe this is his limit ...just continue playing. Win or lose we don't care anymore...waiting for next LCW but don't know when

Set 1 Lee đánh thấy cx ổn mà sao Set 2 thảy cầu cho Shi Yu Qi đập ko v, lúc đầu tưởng chiến thuật để làm Shi Yu Qi đuối😅( thấy tới cuối Set có hiệu quả thiệt) để cuối set bung sức rút điểm ai ngờ bỏ cho thua luôn😢.

The problem is lee zii jia bring his problem out of the court into the court. He need to be calm and dont think too much. His act like he will won the game. I like shi yu qi style, so calm and focus on the court.

Lee is not humble enough to beat shi. Lee is always smashing in the first game and still making errors at the same time which makes Shi be at the same points as him.

LZJ needs to work on his discipline and mentality on the court, he is a skilled player but has to be more mindful and consistent in pushing to be the better version of himself constantly. I hope he could learn from the greats who played before him and train that mamba mentality/killing instinct in him moving forward. Well-played by both players, Shi Yu Qi's victory was well-deserved in the end.

If your opponent is China you should be more accurate, better luck next time LZJ.

Matches like that make you miss the 2000's. Lee has great power but with no finesse. Foot speed not great and not mentally strong. He cannot be compared to greats like Lin Dan, LCW at the same age. Shi is all finesse but terrible defense, terrible conditioning. Shi isn't playing the level before his injury. With his age, time for Shi to retire?

Sad to see Shi win, after the way the chicoms played the quarter-finals. Weng was ordered to throw it to Shi. So many short rallies, so many unforced errors, such blatant cheating.
