Seen them in Oz, and in the US. Great show, really well designed and always immensely entertaining. And if you get the chance to grab a drink with them afterwards (after a trip over a long bridge), they are truly awesome company.
Not their best work, but I'm so happy to see them doing a spot on an American late night show. I strongly encourage people unfamiliar with them to check out some of their other (longer) work.
One of the first shows I remember my oldest enjoying. He found The Upside Down Show on Nick late one night. I know they had their own grown up shows but had not heard about them in awhile. Very cool they were on Colbert last night and still doing their thing.
God this was funny!! I remember watching these two on a children's show years ago with my kids. They were funny then, but ow they need nothing! The absolute best!
I saw these guys for free in my high school auditorium in the early 90s. So weird seeing them on The Late Show. This was not their best performance. It's a pretty big break for two small town guys who have perfected the art of physical comedy over 30 years. For those saying this type of comedy won't ever work in America, this is The Ed Sullivan Theatre. This type of comedy worked on that stage for decades. I like that Stephen (and Dave before him) have more variety in their show. And I really like that there's still an intellectual person hosting at least one late night show. Food for thought.
The Umbillical Brothers are primarily a visual comedy act, they've been around since I was a kid and they still look the same. They can be quite funny. My favourite routine is when they try to start the but get interrupted by all sorts of things like a passing train etc. Not your typical comedy, America, give it a go.
Dang, the last time I've seen the umbies was when I flipped my television over to one of the childrens networks and they had a show on there. It's been forever.
Well, I don't know about some of you guys in the comments right now, but I thought they did a funny job. Seriously, you could at least try to put on a smile, even if this type of comedy doesn't suit you. Its probably good for your mental health considering we're all trying to get through this presidency somehow.
@The Umbilical Brothers Were I able to afford the travel to NYC, I'd be there in a heartbeat! However, a fan on Facebook and Clip-Share I shall become, sirs.
Such harmless comedy in the first half. Didn't know that still existed in 2017. I actually liked it. It was kinda stupid, but reversing really makes stuff funny.
That wasn't the best version of their act i've ever seen. They were a bit hard on old Malcolm, he's gotten his second wind since staring down/beating up Trump.
It's weird to see them do political comedy, but it's still the Umbies!
If you watch they're specials is quite adult. I just say a rendition of the pedo braidy bunch murdered on tv.
This performance is literally why liberalism is cancer #Imrational
This is the 'watered down' version for T.V. See these guys live, they rock...
gosh.. i must love physical comedy way more than is cool, cause i was laughing my ass of, unlike this lacklustre crowd
@teddy meyers they have more comedic talent in there jizz than you'll have in your whole life
No but hole they was not funny
Well, these guys are from australia. Their comedy doesnt work the best in America
ahh the childhood nostalgia, any other 2000s kids?
Here
Yes
Born in 2002 and I've been watching The Upside Down Show
Here.
This was my ultimate favorite show when I was younger. I'd stay up until 11pm or 2am to watch it at night 😂
If you ever get a chance to see these guys do anything you absolutely should take it, usually they're much more laid back and ridiculous.
these guys did the Nick Jr show where they had a remote that did everything. I loved it.
The remote was the best
grew up with these guys any australian kids remember the upside down show?
I'm not Australian, but the show was big here in the States. Them and the Wiggles are some of the best international acts from Australia
They played the show in the us too on nick jr. I use to watch it all the time when I was alittle kid
I'm in America and my kids loved that show. My youngest just got hooked again.
i do, but i'm from America. they aired it here as well. Ah, memories. I miss them.
Still watch it... even to this day
I saw these guys live years and years ago, and they've still got it.
Australian Legends
Seen them in Oz, and in the US. Great show, really well designed and always immensely entertaining. And if you get the chance to grab a drink with them afterwards (after a trip over a long bridge), they are truly awesome company.
Love them. Can't wait to see them live in a couple weeks. They're way funnier when they don't have to censor themselves for American tv.
Not their best work, but I'm so happy to see them doing a spot on an American late night show. I strongly encourage people unfamiliar with them to check out some of their other (longer) work.
The Handshake was hilarious :P
yeah it's protocol
Only because it's factual depiction of an average Trump shake lol.

"Ah, wankers."
This has to be the most nonchalant the Umbilical Brothers have made me laugh hysterically.
I saw them live a few years ago, they were fantastic then and were pretty good today as well.
I'm so happy to see these guys are still around.
These men were my childhood they're amazing!
YES! I love these guys' live shows!
Great to see some Australians on Colbert! Hello from Busselton, Western Australia 🇦🇺 Australia loves you, Steven
Blair Mettam Stephen.
Loved these guys for years!!! America, ENJOY! =D
Love them even more after this!!!
As someone who has followed these guys over the years it's good to see all of the acts that they incorporated
i loved their children's show my daughter and i really enjoyed it!! 💖💖
I saw them in 2018 in Stockholm. It was gut wrenchingly funny all the way.
God this was funny!! I remember watching these two on a children's show years ago with my kids. They were funny then, but ow they need nothing! The absolute best!
Nailed it! Well done.
I once saw them at my high school and whilst they're very good, this wasn't their best performance.

I can't believe the upside down show was on The Late Show.
Me too
these guys were the shit when I was a kid, love them so much
The most talented performers out of Australia, damn I love these guys. Shame I don't see them around more often.
Umbilical Brothers are SHIT HOUSE Jim Jeffries all the way CUNTS
They pale in comparison to the legendary talents of one yahoo serious!!
dont you mean, 'shane' you don't see them around more often?
First time I've seen them, but they're very talented! :D
I love seeing this kind of act on a late night show. Stand-up is not the only kind of live comedy!
Love these guys
These guys are hilarious!
The imaginary fight with trump was one of their most amusing acts since Body Talk.
They Still GOT IT!
love it when they get the hand puppets out.

Nice to see these guys on US television
Oh my god the Umbilical Brothers! Australia represent!
Dang, the last time I've seen the umbies was when I flipped my television over to one of the childrens networks and they had a show on there. It's been forever.
This comments section lacks a funny bone. This was fantastic.
I will let u know when i laugh
It's ok, a little corny
Thanks Bhamini! We totally agree. Hope you become a fan on Facebook and subscribe to our Clip-Share channel. Or come to our show in NYC!
Bhamini Lakshminarayan yeah it's a very badly bad deal!
Bhamini Lakshminarayan You forgot to end your sentence with " NOT ". Honey, they suck....
B-grade family friendly material from these legends.
So cool to see them on here! Not their best performance, but still so cool! Check out some of their other stuff
Damn, I used to watch these guys when I was kid. Didn't know they were still around!
love these two.
This was awesome, a really fresh variation from the usual hit-and-miss stand-up!
I love these guys!
loved him in The Dark Knight
Galen Marek no shit
Galen Marek wait, this old Australian dude is NOT the decidedly not old and very much dead Heath ledger??? You're kidding!
Except hes not Heath Ledger
Awesome.
I love these guys!!!!
at 5:14 it appeared that Donald was having a rough night with Melania 😂
havent seen them in ages!
THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS! :D
Well I think they are funny
Even Aussies know what's going on.
i loved these guys as a kid
I miss the Upside Down Show so much, what nostalgia...
I was so pumped when I saw they were on Colbert... not their best work though ....

These guys a great! They even did an Australians children comedy show and it was great.
omg these guys are Hilarious!!
I found this video entertaining not for how funny they were, but how entertaining their pantomime was...
just brilliant
hilarious!
I love Australian comedy. This was fantastic.
I bet you posted the link in your facebook group, huh.
@The Umbilical Brothers Were I able to afford the travel to NYC, I'd be there in a heartbeat! However, a fan on Facebook and Clip-Share I shall become, sirs.
Thanks Adam! Hope you become a fan on Facebook and subscribe to our Clip-Share channel. Or come to our show in NYC. Love to see ya
Aw they're too cute I wish they didn't do the trump stuff. That "you got through immigration quite easily" joke was enough.
The beginning wasn't as strong but the performance got a lot better as it went on.
I'd it was half cringe but half hilarious. You got me down the middle. Either way I liked it in the long run
Haven't seen these guys in a very long time.
My dad would love this.
Wow I remember the umbilical brothers from when I was like 7 years old
Amazing!!! My teacher showed me this!!!
been a fan of the Umbilical Brothers since their show on Nick Jr. The Upside Down Show! love these guys!
Me too
So cool! These guys are still around.
THE UPSIDE DOWN SHOW HAS SURE GROWN UP 😂
it's funny enjoy it mate!
2:42 Best Micheal Jackson impersonation in mah life
Strangely, the first time I heard of these guys was on a kids show
Trump watched this and thought it was a documentary.
I love the umbilical brothers

Woooooooooo!!!!! Umbies are freakin awesome!!!!!!!
Australians ❤
I loved their presentation especially the "Walll" joke. Are they twins?
Great to see the boys on American tv!
Bernie in sydney
OK, that was hilarious
I liked it!
YESSSSSSSSSS I LOVE THESE GUYS
They reused quite a bit of jokes, but at least they used my favourites
I used to watch the upside down show when I was little
Laughing my ass.... off!!!!!!!!
Those guys are Awesome
The jokes were certainly simple, but something about the pantomiming and the delivery sold me. Good energy?
Upside Down Show! My childhood!
It's like if they did political comedy on the Upside Down Show!
Ok say what you want about them, but that rewind, pause, fast forward, and slow motion thing was pretty cool.
I haven't seen these guys since the upside down show!
I WATCHED THEIR SHOW AS A KID
