so when a dev has dlc for their game, it’s greed and “they could have included it in the base game” but an indie dev does it and it’s “wooooo!”? 💀

Fantastic to see Usagi in there, as well as all the other extra stuff for an already-great game! If they have Mona Lisa and/or Aska playable as well, I can die happy. 😁
Yeah I think they need more chicks.
Even Alopex would be great to be in this game as a playable character. She is after all a fan favorite. If they can delve deeper into the TMNT lore and go into the IDW Comics territory, then they can throw in both Alopex and Jennika.
Nice to know I'm not the only one hoping for Aska. 😄 I'd also like to see Sisyphus as well. (from the Genesis version of Tournament Fighters.)

This is like- the quintessential TMNT game now Hehehe I hope they keep making expansions for it. That'd be really cool. Make it into a big collectathon, and cover all kinds of TMNT plots and stories.
I love the classic NES colors and backgrounds theyre putting in besides Usogi. These guys are real TMNT fans you can tell.

This was and continued to be an excellent arcade style beat-em-up, worthy of arcades of the 90's.
While it is fun and lovingly crafted , I would say the gameplay is slightly lacking compared to the classics. Partly due to the enemy design, partly due to the free form combo system, while being Abel to do long dmc style combos is cool,with no real skill or challenging execution it feels as if it has little consequences, like using the infinite grind cheat in Tony hawks to get huge combos . The big issue for me was the bosses, they leaned into the style of super armour pattern to learn, instead of being Abel to be juggled and combo with the game’s mechanics and engaging your skills .
Back in the day I loved Usagi so seeing them introduced is so cool!
And the different colours of the characters is an awesome touch!

Usagi was one of my favorite characters in TMNT 2003 series, it’s good to see him back as a playable character!!
SAME! SO damn excited mainly 'cause of that! AHHHH! I paused the trailer 'cause I had to gasp and scream happily! lol.
He's been in more than that, he was also in the 1987 and 2012 series. Rabbit boy has been in crossovers with the Turtles basically from the beginning.

Nice! Usagi DLC is definitely a day one purchase for me.
Hopefully this game won't just be a one-off. I'd love to see a sequel, or even spiritual successors to other great licensed konami arcade games (Dare I say X-Men? Perhaps even the Simpsons?)

More stages would be great, but if this new mode is even half as fun as the Streets of Rage 4 dlc, I'll be happy.
What I love about Shredders revenge is that you could feel and see the old games in it while it being it's own unique experiance.

The Combos and throwing enemies at the screen of TMNT4:Turtles in Time.
I saw the love this game was made with and felt it too.
This is awesome. I would love more DLC like this innthe future. Keeps the game fresh without waiting for a completely new game to be purchased.

He’s a darker green, has the orange accents and the green bage on his belt. Just likely Rise miky does.
@Xavier Rivera I think you're right. The original toy also has the dark green and orange accents, but the green badge would point to Rise. My mistake.

I wasn't really looking forward to any other releases this year after Zelda, but this made me scream! Playable Usagi!! New palettes, we can have proper Green-Brown Donatello!
I remember when this game first launched and a bunch of people were asking the developers whether or not there was going to be any DLC. Well, it looks like everybody who asked got their wish. This DLC looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Usagi and the extra mode certainly are awesome, I’m just happy we’re getting alternate colors for characters. Something I feel the game should’ve had at lunch. Now multiple people can be Raphael on the same screen and don’t have to fight claiming him, maybe. XD

It’s on game pass been on it since the game came out i played some of the game and i just got it for PS5 on sale for £13 I’d rather own it in case they take it off game pass and PS5 version was cheaper than Xbox version

Everything about this takes me back... playing TMNT II: The Arcade Game on NES, and later TMNT IV: Turtles in Time on SNES with friends and family. I miss those days. 🥲
I've been saying since completing this game that it needs extra content. Glad to see the devs follow suit. There needed to be something more than just completing story mode over and over.

I really hope they keep adding CHARACTERS to this game. There’s so many that could be added. Allies like Carter, Mona Lisa, Kerma, Brick Bradley, Mondo Gecko, MetalHead(could be a boss fight and then recruited as an ally). If they are dimension jumping, could we possibly see Karai? There’s so many things they could do. Maybe upping the max level cap so I can grind out with all the characters again lol. I REALLY love this game, it brings back so many good memories. It’s just so simple and fun. I’m a sucker for these type of video games and really wish they would make more these days.

I'm surprised this game is getting DLC but not even a little against it, This DLC just added so much more beauty to this already beautiful game, not to mention the alternate skins. That caught me off guard ngl, Very cool.

If there's gonna be more DLC in the distant future, I could see characters like Professor Honeycut, AKA the Fugitoid, and Karai having a chance in the spotlight.
This game is 1987 based (Murakami-Wolf-Swenson / Fred Wolf Films).
@TonyKanameKuran Yeah, but the DLC does confirm dimension jumping, and the 1987 Turtles did interact with their 2003 and 2012 counterparts.

@Jude That’s wild to hear. I love beat ‘em ups. I have a whole folder on my switch dedicated to pixel art beat ‘em ups. Just grab a turbo controller and let your fists do the talking. But everyone has their own favorite genre, I totally get it.

I was not actually expecting this to get DLC, but I'd always wanted Usagi if theye ever did it. Bit sad though that they said 'new characters', but only showed one, and showed a character I'd have flipped over being able to play as in one of the backgrounds, which pretty much rules her out. RIP Ninjara.
Now I wonder who else they could be planning... Mona Lisa or Mondo Gecko would be a nice surprise.

This game brought be back to the days of popping quarters into the mini arcade when i was a kid. Does make me wish they would port over some of those old classics like the Simpsons arcade game or X man arcade game. Good 2 to 4 player co op arcade style games are a rarity these days even with online play.
Heck, I would love to get the classic games in an emulated platform version that's official. Heck, they should just do a modern version of the versions released for the 360. I know there was a mobile version of Simpsons arcade but it was something totally different and I think you only played as Homer. It wasn't as good.
They basically gave us Turtles in Time as DLC and I love it!!!!!!❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

I've never heard of Usagi Yojimbo, but it makes me curious to check him out.
I have Tmnt Shredder's Revenge in my nintendo switch. Dimension Shellshock looks awesome and IM SO HYPED USAGI IS IN THAT DLC, it one of my favourite Ninja Turtles characters from 2003 tmnt. 🔥🔥
