Hahahaha 😂😂👍 You nailed it my friend!!! Also Plaza is on another level She's so freaking great acting and in real life she don't take s*** from noone.... Great role for her!!!
Her secretary is getting played, but only a few handfulls... she keeps the big load herself..... What even more pisses me off is ; she probably let them sign a contract that states, the methodes and things learned here may not be used at other's businesses...
What is even worse is that in the Netherlands they can have an intern with no pay or minimal pay (like 200 euros, nothing you can live on) for a YEAR. Who has the money to stick it out for a year???
@Ross ChildsAnd lemme tell ya back when I worked retail I never met a group more spoiled than boomers. Expected to get everything and get it fast and get it cheap, and turned full Karen when they didn't.
What I love about internships is that you can work for a few hours and randomly leave without saying a word. They don’t ow you money, you don’t owe them loyalty.
I worked for Starbucks for 2 months, then I quit without notice, and my manager said that was unprofessional of me. I almost lol bc im 50 and have more work experience than she does. So i just waited for my last paycheck, and when it didn't come within 3 days, i filed a claim with my local Dept of Labor and got some extra $ in fines, bc here in California you have to be paid within 3 days of your last day, regardless.
"I, as a woman, had it rough when I was young. Now, I want to exploit young women with my power, and get them to work for free" is basically what she said.
For real. It's such a disaffected boomer thing to say and do, instead of breaking that cycle so that all women who are in the position she once was can advance far, wide, and fast. Like, it boggles my mind how someone can be THAT selfish.
"thank you, no more talking, just leave" ugh, that was the worst part. She thinks she is the one in control of another person even when she has no rights for it... i know someone like that, she has the need of always saying things as if they were your boss, like they need the power of giving commands... I completely loved her reaction, because that's how I feel.
I love doing this, my fav question "why are you leaving your current job?" Me you assume I'm leaving my job? Are you hiring me and what's the pay rate and how much PTO do I occur. Having a second really helps.
In theory yes. In practice it doesn't work. Its just employer market. Unles u in some indurstry where its employees market but even then i expect conpanies to act very arrogant and condenscending
@James c oh spicy not crass? Don't get me wrong, she was definitely right but now she'll be blackballed by someone in power with the audacity to ask someone to work for free.
"When I was your age I was the only woman in a room full of men".... there's a few different ways one would think how she rose to her current level of success after hearing that
My unpaid internship was the best thing i ever did for my career. The job wouldn't have existed if not for internships, because it simply wasnt worth paying minimum wage for. I used it as a stepping stone to befriend people, learn skills, learn the company, and prove myself. If the job had to be paid, it wouldn't exist and i wouldn't have had that opportunity
@Alpha Cat the manuscript they gave y'all to rol with, they could divide that work upon di working staff also many interns end up being burdened with others actual work that they are paid for stop acting like the internship system isn't abusive
I love that line! If you want to tell me what to do..,” I feel like telling the government that, I’m paying to get treated like crap and lied to! 1/2 my income is one tax or another!!!
They also die out if someone sues the company and wins. I forget who, but apparently unpaid internships died REAL quick when some guy figured out that Google profited off some code he wrote as an unpaid intern, sued Google, and won. Nowadays, it's almost difficult to find an unpaid internship in the tech sector.
This is an intriguing concept in game theory. You're asking everyone to not do something so someone will benefit. However, the more people who do what you've asked leads to more demand for the ones who don't.
@Scott Cates More demand from producers doesnt always equate to more people consuming what you are selling. Those who dont complain will only have more opportunities for unpaid internships. Thats all they get.
Love this ! I have to use it because this is real life !!! People always trying to convince you of “their idea” of reality when in fact it’s just a way to hustle you.
I did internships in college but received college course credit. There has to be some exchange. Offering nothing during a half year tryout should immediately cause most seeking employment to stand and walk upon hearing there won't be pay. I came for a job, not your offer to pretend I have a job.
@That One Titan lol what? You’ll need a new talking point that’s more rooted in reality. If you make $70k in Norway your effective tax rate is 29.1%, and in the USA it would be 27.52%.
@Mark Angelo Valdejueza and ye boi, theres no reason an internship has to be useless sometimes we're willing to take a credit even but free internships being legal...is...legal slave labor ...looking at it any other way is justifying
@L8erdayz A majority of the people around are in debt because of the expense of existing, going to college, medical insurance and/or being born into a very poor position. So when you say they don't have to take the $60,000, realize that them taking it is the reason they are still here.
If that debt is from college that is not the employers problem. Intertern ships are there so u can gain experience so u look better to the top companies. Why didnt u do interships in college i know they offer them, u waited till your out of college when interest payments starts. Your not entitled to payed internship.
@Larry Watson people who exploit others for free labor when they can afford to pay for that label should be stripped of everything they own and made an example. Greed should come at a very heavy price.
People always feel that because they were treated like shit when they were a young professional they can treat people like shit. I love it. I had a boss like this.
"Hey, you wanna tell me what to do? Put me on the f*ckin' payroll!" is the MOST appropriate way to deal with someone that feels entitled to their perceived authority I have EVER heard in my life. 🤩
Yesterday i went to work and a woman was standing outside. You cant get in without a FOB (if you dont know what that is, Google it) and she was telling me she was with the other company who is setting up in the facility and she assumed i was just some assistant for her to boss around. Immediately she presumes this and starts firing off orders to me and she didnt even give me the opportunity to present myself. So she finishes her spiel and all i say is "I dont know you or any of those people you just named, I work for an entirely different company, ma'am." I was going to tell her "Also, being i dont know who YOU are, i dont think id be in the right to allow you into the rest of the building where the assets are located." But she backed off before i could and as i went to leave someone recognized her and i wished her a good day. She responded in kind. So, definitely not as high emotion like this video but still, just the way she assumed she could order me around was getting under my skin. If only these rich assholes could get a clue that their positions in a job doesnt give them the right to boss everyone around, especially when they dont even pay you.
I can see both of their views, but I side with the older woman. I mean it is common knowledge that internships are unpaid. So someone wants the position and wants the rules to be changed. If you're 60k in debt, im sure you got a degree out of it, or should've. So why not get a paying job instead of making others cave to your view of how the world should be
I knew a woman who talked and thought like the employer here. She once told me that manipulation is not a bad thing. "Think of it like when you use a tool. If you want it to do what you want, you have to manipulate it."
I hate that phrase. It's always said by the people who want to take advantage of you. At least it gives me a quick check to see exactly who I should be talking to
When you interview for a job and if you ask if it’s a paid position and the first thing the boss does is get mouthy, then it’s a sign that you should flee first chance you get. Just imagine what they’d be like after you get hired. 😨
I guess it depends on the field you are in. No one in my graduate program had paid internships/practicums. An intern is still in the learning process. In a sense, it is a work/study period. Her potential mentor would spend hours of time training, explaining, and teaching. As a mentor to a clinician in my field, it took a tremendous amount time and added, not lessened my workload. This is how it usually is if you are doing mentoring correctly. If it is only for a few months, this is part of the trade. I did the same thing for a few months when I completed my studies. If someone in my field just wanted to "move on" after I mentioned it, there would be nowhere to move onto since there are no paid internships.
@Snafuperman Please...that's a Hollywood depiction of internship. Most internship don't do that. At most, it get your foot in the door while allowing the exploitation of your cheap labor. If you can afford to work for free...you have the resources to find connections with or without the internship.
@Darren That wasn't going to be a good job. Even an internship must have a salary. That 60K isn't getting paid by kissing someone's ass for free for six months
@Darren Exactly, it's such a stupid point. Literally dropped tens of thousands of dollars for an education but isn't willing to essentially set yourself up for life working an internship? Makes no sense whatsoever.
Nobody is forcing you to be there. Being an inter has the benefit of learning about the job, know people, gain experience and guess what if tou dont want that then dont do it, its that simple. College is basically working without getting paid , on the contrary you have to pay because you are workimg to learn. In this clip thay have to add many interns to this woman ao she clearly looks like the bad guy. Its like those christian movies where they portray atheist as completely evil
@computeraidedyami its about getting paid for work. I get worktraining. But after a few months it becomes exploiting people who need to work and need to get paid. So better to say no, everybody should...
@computeraidedyami the difference is that in college, no other company capitalizes off of your labour for free, and, in college, any product of your work, you keep for yourself.
I don't use that sentence but I always say that I'll do the work or I'll listen to the rants if they start paying me for it. If I ain't getting paid or any benefits then I ain't gonna do any extra work. I am a trainee nurse in govt hospital and people here are ready to suck life out of anyone if theh are a bit soft and capable of doing work. In hospital I do everything I get bcz I am a trainee and I have to learn but when I am in hostel or school (it's residential and we have office on 1st floor of same building as hostel) then I refuse bcz teachers, clerks will ask us to do their work but you get zero favour, in any terms. My principal asked girls to leave class to do the clerical work theh had in the office, the clerks are getting paid we aren't so why should I do the job. She never asks me for anything anymore. She learnt her lesson within 3-4 months that I won't do anything that I don't have to do there as a trainee and resident. I do help the warden there bcz she brings me homemade food as I don't like hostel food much(she knows my family but if she didn't give any favour I won't have helped) and also manage leaves
People who usually use the words “you’re spoiled” are either, A) Abusive B) Manipulative C) Toxic or D) All of the Above. Haven’t found anyone else who uses those words other than in light sarcasm with friends with no I’ll intent meant
also just the fact that shes calling her spoiled while expecting her to work for her for free. the higher up the ladder you go the less oxygen your brain gets
"You're spoiled" Naw, people who can work for six months without pay are spoiled. People who can demand other people work for them for free are spoiled
Whenever I see a scene like this I can't help but wonder, how many unpaid interns worked on this movie?
Hahahaha 😂😂👍 You nailed it my friend!!!
Also Plaza is on another level She's so freaking great acting and in real life she don't take s*** from noone.... Great role for her!!!
That's the problem. Too many people are willing to do it for free.
That is a good point.
@SometimesOriginal you hit the nail on the head.
Good call👍
@SometimesOriginal Too many people are willing to go into $60,000 of debt for an education they can get for free.
"All my assistants are interns." That tells you all you need to know. She doesn't pay anybody.
Her secretary is getting played, but only a few handfulls... she keeps the big load herself..... What even more pisses me off is ; she probably let them sign a contract that states, the methodes and things learned here may not be used at other's businesses...
sounds like a con job
The final line is the best:”If you want to tell me what to do, put me on the fucking payroll!” Love it!
Things that never happen in real life
@bb5242 that's why it's in a film.
@B B Only true if you've never stood up for yourself.
@William Moralesfr like atp why not say sum instead of getting bitched out the door
6 months unpaid internship translates to I get a new intern every 6 months
Didn't even think about that.
THIS! IS! THE TRUTH!
I’m sure the turnover rate is much faster, nobody lasts six months unpaid.
Now I understand why she was pushing back so hard, she wasn't going to keep the interns after six months 😮
What is even worse is that in the Netherlands they can have an intern with no pay or minimal pay (like 200 euros, nothing you can live on) for a YEAR. Who has the money to stick it out for a year???
"Is that a paid position?"
"Not at first."
"K, bye."
Morale of the story. Know your worth. And don't change it for anyone.
Its not what your worth … its what you negotiate.
Yeah exactly, walk in with no experience and demand your worth.
It’s zero.
@Tony Chaplinyeah hide behind a screen and talk shyte... Come on bro, you should probably take lessons from reality 😂
Getting called "entitled" by an old person for not being a door mat is too real.
And that’s on generational gaslighting
“You’re spoiled” says the woman exploiting an unpaid work force for her own benefits. The hypocrisy is 🧑🍳💋
@Ross ChildsAnd lemme tell ya back when I worked retail I never met a group more spoiled than boomers. Expected to get everything and get it fast and get it cheap, and turned full Karen when they didn't.
You are problematic if you think like that.
"If you want to tell me what to do, put me on the F'ing payroll." 1000%
What I love about internships is that you can work for a few hours and randomly leave without saying a word. They don’t ow you money, you don’t owe them loyalty.

@Plen122with your vast experience, at 50 years old, that led you to………filling out an application with Starbucks?
@Jig Sawlmao
> "Secretaries get paid."
> "That's not the point"
That's exactly the point.
Secretary- permanent position
Intern- temporary position
@Lazy Akers What's that got to do with anything?
@Lazy Akers until the company you intern for doesnt want to hire you
@Heather Mason then you update your resume, go somewhere else and make the people who didn’t hire you eat their words.
@Gabrijela Mikulić a lot since no one looks at an internship as a career destination.
People should never accept a job working for nothing as an intern. This should be against the law.
And this is why everyone in the world HATES boss babes.
"I, as a woman, had it rough when I was young. Now, I want to exploit young women with my power, and get them to work for free" is basically what she said.
Woman Logic 101
Pretty much yeah. It's fucked up
@RedCell96 The other person making sense in this clip is also a woman.
For real. It's such a disaffected boomer thing to say and do, instead of breaking that cycle so that all women who are in the position she once was can advance far, wide, and fast. Like, it boggles my mind how someone can be THAT selfish.
"Sorry, at the risk of sounding spoiled, I need to eat somehow..."
How dare you!
Internships should be illegal. Even an Apprentice should get paid.
"If you want to tell me what to do PUT ME ON THE FUCKIN PAYROLL" What a badass 😂
Yeeee
But she's acting, tho. This isn't real
@Vomit B No sht! They are just admiring the line.
@Vomit B WOW! REALLY? 😳 I thought when I went to the movies it was a documentary every time!
She's treating women worse than men treated her. Proud feminist.
"thank you, no more talking, just leave" ugh, that was the worst part. She thinks she is the one in control of another person even when she has no rights for it... i know someone like that, she has the need of always saying things as if they were your boss, like they need the power of giving commands... Always remember when interviewing for work, you should be assessing the company just as much as the company is assessing you for the job.
Damn right. 👏👏👏👏
I love doing this, my fav question "why are you leaving your current job?" Me you assume I'm leaving my job? Are you hiring me and what's the pay rate and how much PTO do I occur. Having a second really helps.
💥
🎯 so many people miss this
In theory yes. In practice it doesn't work. Its just employer market.
Unles u in some indurstry where its employees market but even then i expect conpanies to act very arrogant and condenscending
I love that you expect this generation to work for free let alone be the punching bag without compensation
Love ❤️ the way she came back at her in the end 💕 ❤
“If you want to tell me what to do, put me on the fucking payroll” 💀
Great line, killer delivery!
@pspublicshes so spicy
Facts
@James c oh spicy not crass? Don't get me wrong, she was definitely right but now she'll be blackballed by someone in power with the audacity to ask someone to work for free.
Let this be a valuable lesson to all who need to hear it. If your internship isn't for pay, then you're a slave!!!
Abolish internships. It's a scam.
"When I was your age I was the only woman in a room full of men".... there's a few different ways one would think how she rose to her current level of success after hearing that
Bosses call workers entitled because they won't give them free labor.
She used the term "spoiled" too. 🙄
Kim Kardashian anyone?
@C John ironically someone actually able not to work for 6 months is probably more spoiled.
@Ana Nas precisely.
@Ana Nas how is that relevant? Working a job for 0 pay for 6 months would be the same as not working at all.
The world needs more of this.
What she doesn’t tell you is that secretaries at the time were like a stereotypically women dominated roles.
"If you want to tell me what to do, put me on the fucking payroll." God that's a good line.
That's a great line. Someone willing to fight for a paycheck like that, standing up for themselves and their worth, I want that person on my team.
And you can use it your entire adult life.
Interning is what people did for school credit, and not pay. Young people are spoiled brats. Your debt is on you.
I love it.😂😂
Hearing her curse for some reason is satisfying,
Plaza on point.... The moral argument was won as she walked out.
She's a terrific actor.
"You're spoiled" said the executive that believes she's entitled to free labor.
Unpaid interns are technically illegal
Exactly!!!!
@Alpha Cat they still could've paid you and you still could've gotten that experience. If a job is worth doing it's worth getting paid for it
@Alpha Cat the manuscript they gave y'all to rol with, they could divide that work upon di working staff also many interns end up being burdened with others actual work that they are paid for stop acting like the internship system isn't abusive
This was actually the most genuinely badass scene in the film
Ms Plaza was very good in this movie.
"I was a woman in a room full of men, and I'll be damned if I'm not as oppressive to you as they were to me."
More oppressive, she got paid.
Finally getting it I see. That’s called the business world.
Riiight.
Well said
@Nicholas_Miles fax
"If you wanna tell me what to do, put me on the f-ing payroll," :)
“I was the only woman in a room full of men.”
“But you were getting paid.”
Badass.
LAID, actually.
@BSK Ind. Great minds think alike
Well mostly they say they will pay but instead of cash they get a worn out ass and shown the door.
She was talking about her porn star days.
My fav scene by far. Pulls it off in a way that only she can
Whats the Name of the movie?
@Lisa TeichlerEmily the Criminal is what I read
@Rob G thx
I love that line! If you want to tell me what to do..,” I feel like telling the government that, I’m paying to get treated like crap and lied to! 1/2 my income is one tax or another!!!
To summarize. I climbed the ladder and then pulled it up behind me.
Yes, but she probably interned. Its a great first step for many.
@Alpha Cat you are not agreeing with the commenter, she pulling up the ladder means no one else can climb
What does that mean
Aubrey Plaza can pull out an amazing act. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Employer is a crook.
Never take unpaid internships. They'll only die out if people stop tolerating them.
They also die out if someone sues the company and wins. I forget who, but apparently unpaid internships died REAL quick when some guy figured out that Google profited off some code he wrote as an unpaid intern, sued Google, and won. Young people with rich parents who pay all their bills will continue to take them.
This is an intriguing concept in game theory. You're asking everyone to not do something so someone will benefit. However, the more people who do what you've asked leads to more demand for the ones who don't.
Stop making entry level jobs based on experience of applicants then.
@Scott Cates

Every person should have this attitude. There shouldn't be unpaid internships
Remember, it's only an unpaid internship if you don't steal enough office supplies!
There's no such thing in Norway, for instance
I did internships in college but received college course credit. There has to be some exchange. Offering nothing during a half year tryout should immediately cause most seeking employment to stand and walk upon hearing there won't be pay. I came for a job, not your offer to pretend I have a job.
@Truls NilsenNorway's tax rate is like 92% as well. No free internships, but you work until early December for daddy government.
@That One Titan lol what? You’ll need a new talking point that’s more rooted in reality.
If you make $70k in Norway your effective tax rate is 29.1%, and in the USA it would be 27.52%.
If you want to tell me what to do, put me on the F'ing payroll! LOVE IT! What a great scene!
Internship is just a sophisticated way of saying, I only wanna be surrounded by rich people and use the word internship as a shield against the poor
“Kids today are so spoiled, thinking they deserve to be paid for labor”-That entitled lady
Who got paid in her first job
@Ju Castro Me. Even if it's subsidized. I still got paid for my internship.
@Mark Angelo Valdejueza and ye boi, theres no reason an internship has to be useless sometimes we're willing to take a credit even but free internships being legal...is...legal slave labor
...looking at it any other way is justifying
Boomers gonna boom
She acts well. I find her so believable.
Damn, pretty intense scene. That girl can act!
She really said “you’re spoiled” while she literally just told her that she has $60,000 in debt and is looking for a job lmao.
Nobody forced her to borrow 60k. Just like nobody is forcing her to work an unpaid internship.
@L8erdayz you seem really educated on this topic
@L8erdayz A majority of the people around are in debt because of the expense of existing, going to college, medical insurance and/or being born into a very poor position. So when you say they don't have to take the $60,000, realize that them taking it is the reason they are still here.

Intern means getting used to starving after you become an attorney.

Yup
I have literally told people in arguments that their opinion doesn't matter to me unless they are my lover or they are paying me to do a job :P
Yesterday i went to work and a woman was standing outside. Lady in green... smacked that woman back down to the earth.
This is why unions are important, bosses can not pull this shit
“I was the only woman in a room full of men.”
“But you had a job.”
Plot twist: it was the set of a porno. 😬
Getting paid
@Flyboy😂😂 Facts

Ah yeah thanks. It was unclear when I watched it but you really cleared that up for me
When you see an opportunity and refuse to work because you want someone to pay you to prove yourself.
Internships are for those who have all their expenses paid by others.
I never knew how much I needed a shirt that says "If you want to tell me what to do, put me on your F**KING payroll!" until today.
Yes. 100% yes.
I agree 💯 % Bossing around People not under Your Authority, and Spoiled ?
She wouldn't be seeking Employment if She was "Spoiled".
SAAAAAME.
Chances are it now exists since it was uttered in a comment for the bots to find! That’s pretty much how it woks.
What's in it for me? - Ray Liotta
I knew a woman who talked and thought like the employer here. She once told me that manipulation is not a bad thing. "Think of it like when you use a tool. If you want it to do what you want, you have to manipulate it."
Unpaid internship should be against the law .

The bill collectors and renters are out to get you.

Half a year of free labor just for them to fire you a day before you start 💀💀💀
if you're not getting paid, it's a hobby.
"I was the only woman in the man's office..."
"The men paid you. I'm a woman, and you won't pay me..."
She got to the top and chose to keep perpetuating the exploration of others when she actually had the powers to switch things up
@arol lets just agree on a personal level we don't give a shit about a stranger.
That's why you don't work for "Boss Bitches"
@arol This is like what Tyra Banks did with Next Top Model.
There's a name for people who work and don't get paid. They're called slaves.
"If you want to tell me what to do put me on the fucking payroll" DAMN Ive never seen Aubrey have that kind of fire! I love it!
“I worked and got paid in a male dominated business so now I don’t have to pay women”
YAAA PROGRESS!😂😂😂 that’s fucked
That’s just a horrible human.
She just became what she hated ...simple put.
She chose to be in debt. The world doesn't owe her anything,
Great for her for standing up for herself. Potential/ employers thrive on taking advantage of their staff
Having unpaid workers is the definition of spoiled
Close but i had a different S word in mind lol
@Reese Lsocialism?
@billytheripper4 really don't think y'all know what that is
@Ethan Granti become more confident of this every day…
When you interview for a job and if you ask if it’s a paid position and the first thing the boss does is get mouthy, then it’s a sign that you should flee first chance you get. Just imagine what they’d be like after you get hired. 😨
This scene fills me with a rage I cannot describe.
What is this. A movie or show. That's my wife right der
If your boss reminisces about how they were abused at work while they do the same to you, move out asap.
Being offered an internship isn't the same as getting sexually harassed with no recourse. Hope this helps 👍
I guess it depends on the field you are in. No one in my graduate program had paid internships/practicums. An intern is still in the learning process. In a sense, it is a work/study period. This is how it usually is if you are doing mentoring correctly. If it is only for a few months, this is part of the trade. I did the same thing for a few months when I completed my studies. If someone in my field just wanted to "move on" after I mentioned it, there would be nowhere to move onto since there are no paid internships.
Internships is what makes you a millionaire. But go ahead and be a victim buddy
@Snafuperman Please...that's a Hollywood depiction of internship. Most internship don't do that. At most, it get your foot in the door while allowing the exploitation of your cheap labor. If you can afford to work for free...you have the resources to find connections with or without the internship.
Some USED TO call it "unpaid slavery", as opposed to "paid slavery".
This is the exploitation that comes with the corporate world
“No more talking” “if you want to tell me what to do, put me on the fucking payroll” GET HER ASS
Yet she paid a college 60K to work. With even less chance of landing a good job than a good intern would.
THIS MADE ME SOOOOO HAPPY HELL YEAH
@Darren That wasn't going to be a good job. Even an internship must have a salary. That 60K isn't getting paid by kissing someone's ass for free for six months
@Darren Exactly, it's such a stupid point. Literally dropped tens of thousands of dollars for an education but isn't willing to essentially set yourself up for life working an internship? Makes no sense whatsoever.
There is nothing like a wrinkled old boomer telling you how lucky you are to have the opportunity to work for nothing.
"If you wanna tell me what to do put me on the fucking payroll!" Love that line, my god.
"If you wanna tell me what to do put me on the fucking payroll!" I am HERE for that. Amen.
Amen!!!
Im remembering that one for later. Perfectly executed
I was the 1k like. 🥺
loved it!!
Amen.
Lol, let that woman know exactly where you’re coming from, I love it!
Such a lousy system, abusing people like that.
If you run a business but can't pay the people that do the work, then you're not doing good business
I love how she had to tell her to leave AS she was leaving so that she could try to take control of the situation 🤣
Yeah, that "I have to have the last word" shit is so obvious.
Yeah exactly this is how boomers try to talk to Gen Z about work Gen Z we see through the bullshit
That’s when my stubborn ass would sit back down and go “when I feel like it” 💁🏻♂️
I loved this scene. She's not wrong. I think she should have considered her based on knowing how to sniff out BS.
she can run this business for years without paying anyone. 6 month slavery
Everything she said, the perfect comeback was “yea but you got paid.”😂
I would have added I'm spoiled, and you're the one with modern day slaves. CLEARLY I am not spoiled because work without pay doesn't pay my bills.
I've always seen the "internship" as criminal.
These bosses are becoming a thing of the past as everyone is leaving the table
"If you want to tell me what to do put me on the fucking payroll". If I had that comeback I'd be so proud of myself :D.
It's the kinda thing you walk out, sit in the car, close the door, and then it hit's you! "Damn it, I shoulda said that!"
i want to purposely apply for an internship and see if i can trigger a similar event, just to say that
I don't use that sentence but I always say that I'll do the work or I'll listen to the rants if they start paying me for it.
Imagine being an intern for 5 to 6 months without pay just to hear you ain't getting the job
She's right about pay .
“You’re spoiled” ma’am, I’d just like to have gas, rent and food.
She really said “you’re spoiled” while she literally just told her that she has $60,000 in debt and is looking for a job lmao.
Yeah, spoiled people are the ones who can afford to do an internship. When you need the pay you need to pay rent.
Nooo those are privileges. Soo spoiled pfff /s
The interviewee schooling the interviewer. I got paid as an intern.
There need to be a law to exclude anything like that, any work done must be paid and taxed
College taught me to never accept unpaid internships.
College taught me nothing
@Pickle skill issue
@Pickle Well you're a pickle, so..
Common sense taught me to never be an unpaid intern
"You're spoiled"
Naw, people who can work for six months without pay are spoiled.
People who can demand other people work for them for free are spoiled
Not everyone has rich parents that can foot the bill for 6mo of slave labor.
Hence, we rotate our interns “Every 6 months”
😂😂😂
Yeah, and "We'll talk about it" means "Thank you for your free labor, you are now free to go."
@SomeRandomJackAss that's not necessarily bad you know
@Steve Pestit's not good either. Pay me for my labor
@Steve Pestfound the boss from the video
How it’s legal to have unpaid internships is beyond me. That’s ridiculous.
