I don’t care if the CG face wasn’t perfect, this was a moment that earned the tears shed by grown adults around the world
It was so much better than the rogue one cgi though, I was actually amazed
This was not CGI most likely but more like a deepfake.
Max Lloyd Jones was the one that played Skywalker,no cgi
@james haven it was cgi, they put Hamill’s face over max lloyd, he has done cgi-acting before in which his face is edited to look like someone else
@Moke do you not know what a deepfake is?
The best part was how terrified Gideon looked. To him, Luke must be some terrifying legend.
True. Luke walked into a room to meet the Emperor. He walked out again dragging the dying Darth Vader and the Emperor was dead af.
Loyal Imperials had to have nightmares about that.
Death Star 1, Darth Vader, and Emperor Palpatine. Luke was right to be respected and feared by this time in the continunity.
@NuclearFridge1 Meanwhile his friends were fucking up the Death Star 2.0
Gideon: I am winning, I've got this.
Luke shows up
Gideon: .... Oh f(^_)k
Imperials new Vader and the emperor could kill them in their fingertips. Then some jedi kid came in as a captive of Vader and the emperor then the emperor and Vader died and the new death star was oblitered again.
the fact that the sequels failed to give the audience this type of reactions is what really disappointed fans. This scene alone is worth more than the 3 sequels combined
The sequels? What are those?
@EnlightenAlchemist I think he is talking about that 3 parodies.
@Retro Sprites Oh yeah.I kinda remember those things.
@Retro Sprites LMAO @parodies. However, it's an apt description. Sadly, for us. Thanks to F & F for getting it and knowing how to deliver.
(Waves fingers around) There is no such thing as the sequel trilogy.
Imagine being a grandpa to two grandchildren, I shouted like a kid, the first time seeing X-Wing, The Green Saber, The Robe and the Fighting style.... It's unmistakable - even before he revealed himself, I know in my heart, it's my childhood and teenage hero - Luke Skywalker
This is beautiful. I'm so happy you and your family got to share this special moment together
What a beautiful comment, so happy for you Sir!! And may the force be with you and your family!
May the force be with you
You know something is unmatchably cool when grown people are crying tears of joy like kids all around the earth
I sounded like a wrestling announcer during a big return....I didn't dare say his name out of fear that I might jinx it...."IS IT HIM?! COULD IT BE?!"
The Force will be with you and your family always 🙏
Luke's most impressive move was the using the force to draw the water out of fans eyes.
I think that was Master Favreau. :')
Not gonna lie, I grew up with the original trilogy, but I don’t really consider myself a die-hard fan, but when I saw this scene, it gave me goose bumps and teared up a little.
His most impressive feat was that he didn't need the Force for that
Mark Hamil said that he sees Luke as the embodiment of hope, and that always sticks with me every time I see this scene
This is luke. Sequels be damned...this is the luke skywalker that was always meant to be. I remember watching this the second it came out having 0 expectations on what I was about to watch. Single greatest moment in star wars for me since revenge of the sith...or the twin suns ending.
The most disappointing thing about the last episode is that I’ll never be able to watch it for the first time again.
I hear you!
I literally just told my friends this! I was a kid again.
You hit me in the feels, bruh. 😢
Unfortunately for me, it was spoiled. I've seen some people talk about how it was a well kept secret, but I did see a headline that implied this result on the day of the episode, but before I had seen it. I watched the episode with my mother, and she was surprised, but the impact of the reveal was much less for me. Once I saw that it was a SINGLE x-wing, that confirmed what had been implied for me, rather than being allowed to be truly surprised. Fuck people that can't resist the urge to get a few more clicks by writing headlines for their articles that aren't completely spoiler free. To be honest, even this video fucks up in that respect. Can we get at least a WEEK before people put the full spoiler in their headlines, please?
I mean, unless youve got amnesia
When they showed the behind-the-scenes, and we saw Mark wearing his Robes, holding his lightsaber, and acting for that moment, you could see it in his eyes. This was what made him happy. And seeing Mark being Luke, brought me hope
22:51 the moment you see two grown men feel like 8 year olds again, seeing their greatest hero return with the respect and dignity he earned.
Imagine if this moment was seen in theaters. Roofs would’ve been blown off. People collapsing in the aisles. Dogs and cats living together…..MASS HYSTERIA!
Ntm setting a record for the most men in their 40s crying in one location.
Think the record was set anyway. I know i was crying.
@Jon Ericson we all were.
My dad is a hard strict man and i seen him tear up from this scene and my dad doesn’t cry. 😊
This is a great comment 😂
27:40 i dont know why but I love this part because he starts to tear up and he says sorry and shes just “it’s okay hun” she doesn’t care if it’s something nerdy or anything
she's a keeper
During this time, Luke was an urban legend to the empire. Remember, by the end of return of the Jedi, he was responsible for the destruction of one Death Star. He was in a room with Darth Vader and the Emperor. From the perspective of any witnesses, the emperor never made it out, and he walked out with Darth Vaders dying defeated body. He‘s the only known living Jedi left. This is what is going Güterzugs Moff Gideons head as he watches in terror as a cloaked force wielding figure with a lightsaber easily dismantles his army of dark troopers because he knows it could be him.
This episode was better than the 3 movies, long live luke
Which 3 movies?
@Cl Whi I think they mean the sequel trilogy.
@Trent M what sequel? I don’t remember a sequel.
The Disney "trilogy" are not canon . I have spoken
It was so much better than those abominable prequels.
I remember hearing my dad yelling in another room from excitement and I had no idea what about. He explained it to me and it made me so happy because I’ve never seen him more excited for anything! Watching this, I know I’m about to get hate, I was never really interested in the Star Wars world but now I want dive in and understand the energy and thrill of this scene!
I'll explain it so you understand it 🙂
picture you haven't seen your favorite superhero on the screen for close to 30 years and when they bring him back, he isn't this bigger than life hero anymore, it's a husk of the great hero he once was to you
and then comes this... you see him in all his glory the first time since forever, it's like seeing a long lost friend you missed so dearly
When we last saw Luke, he was still learning the ways of the Force and had just overcome the biggest trial of his life. That was in 1983. I was 6 years old. I waited literally 37 years to see my childhood hero at the height of his powers. I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a fool during this scene. I was putting it together piece by piece. First was the X-wing. Then, the flowing black robe looked similar to his entrance into Jabba's palace. Third, we saw the green lightsaber. Last, we saw the glove on only the right hand. I knew when I saw the X-wing, but I was cautious because Disney had let us down so many times by this point. The glove was the final confirmation though. I was absolutely positive that it was Luke. I really can't remember the last thing that brought me that kind of happiness. Luke Skywalker was like a friend to those of us who grew up with the original trilogy. 2020 sucked, but it ended with a bang.
No hate. Welcome
honestly, if a moment like that gets you excited enough to find out more, I think it is the perfect place to start`
I watched the originals back in the 70's but then I lost interest other than watching a few here and there of the new movies. The Mandalorian made my interest skyrocket and seeing Luke in this episode brought tears to my eyes. It was SO good!!
I reacted the same way.
This, this was the star wars sequel I had been waiting for almost 40 years.
Absolutely amazing.
Thank you George, Jon, Dave and Mark.
It's so impressive how almost everyone called it the "reverse Rouge One moment" and it didn't even register in my mind until I heard it. All those people shown here are true fans.
"It's like poetry, it rhymes"
I was just thinking this now. Iconic
What do they mean by Reverse Rogue One moment?
@M Q after credit scene of Rogue One movie they did this too, but its the reverse; Vader killing all Rebel troopers.
In a world where leaks can happen too easily, the fact that this was kept secret boggles my mind
Seeing Luke stroll through and put the GLOVED PIMPHAND down on those Dark troopers like his father before him... Was epic...
Mark Hamill has officially seen this video. He tweeted it out today with "Seeing the fan's reactions to Luke's return is something I will cherish forever..." What a way to end the year!
This is the way
I'm glad to know that Mark Hamill did not completely got disappointed because of how shitty Johnson treated his character.
In sequels it was some Jake Skywalker.
Here... it was real Luke.
❤️❤️❤️ Awww
He is a perfect human being
This and the Vader hallway are the greatest 2 moments in Star Wars history and I cried like a little girl at both of them for how Fkn amazing they were
When this part came on and they showed him I literally had tears in my eyes they did it they gave us back our franchise thank you Filoni and Faverau
I love how once everyone sees that one x-wing pull up they immediately are like "Waiiiit, is that Luke? No it can't be, is it?" And then "It Is Luke!!"
2 years later still get goosebumps watching this scene.
I grew up on the original trilogy. It defined my childhood. I cried rivers when I first saw this scene. This was the real Luke Skywalker. Untouched by the Disney travesties.
I feel like this- THIS- is what Mark Hamill wanted for the fans when he did the sequels. He wanted people to feel that childlike joy at seeing one of science fictions greatest heroes return to the screen. THIS was the Luke people have been waiting to see return since 1983 and god damn did it feel amazing.
Yesss He was like to rian johnson! I cant believe this is how u see luke now. And old man gon koo koo
Yes, it was great to see kick ass young Luke again, as until this, never thought how little of "kick ass" Luke we saw in RotJ. But, while TFA & TLJ Luke wasn't what I expected (not sure what I expected) I did get on board and loved it (while despising TRoS, I pretend it doesn't exist).
I loved grumpy old Luke, as since 1977, I too have changed from being an idealistic youth to disillusioned 54 year old.
But this was awesome too. Too bad there wasn't a pre-isolation Luke movie to bridge the gap, although guess we're kinda getting that now. They really are making all SW fans happy. Lol.
@TED SHOT THAT again, Johnson did not put Luke on that island OR in that costume makeup. JJ did. Like it or not, Johnson merely tried to make sense of JJ's set up. Am I the only one who remembers Luke in TFA? Did people blink and miss him? Lol.
@etherealtb true and tfa sucks for that, but rian johnson could have redeemed that luke, except he made luke an old whiney losser hermit instead of a super wise and powerful jedi master that was on the island for a cool reason. RJ could have also not directly made fun of the people who wanted to see luke come in swinging his laser sword and taking out the bad guys and saving every one.
@awesomeatronikwell, Johnson MAY have responded better if people weren't screeching he ruined their childhoods! That had to be a shock. He should've responded better, but that was an honest response to people hating on something you'd worked hard on for 3 years & expected people to love, especially after the rave critical reviews. And Luke eventually DID kick ass & save everyone in TLJ, in an awesome, heroic way!
And Luke was ALWAYS whiney! Watch ANH & most of TESB again oh and the cut scenes in ANH. LOTS of whining from Luke! This was NOT out of character to revert to that. It wasn't the only option for Luke, it could've gone as you said. But it was 100% in character and only "ruined" Luke for those who didn't understand (or willfully forget) where the character started ANH & only remember where he ended in TRotJ. There's a difference between what you or I would've written and something being "bad" or "wrong". I think we can all agree TRoS really was actually bad, wrong and a large pile of poo!
Who would have thought the colour green would create so much emotion !! This was the best thing to happen in years. It was like a family member had returned after going missing for years. I cried like a baby seeing Luke return.
I love Mando and the gang, but that was an epic entrance. Finally, the Luke we all wanted to see!!!
This scene is pretty much the only way to make a 50-year-old grown man cry out of happiness.
You didn’t even have to be a Star Wars fan to know that was Luke Skywalker and appreciate how cool this episode was.
My wife is the most casual of casual Star Wars fans and even she lost her shit when she saw the green lightsaber.
I never watched Star Wars in full but even I predicted it was Luke. Loved such ending. And nie I will definitely see all the movies.
This is what Star Wars should be. Something that brings us together, not tear us apart
Fans: You can't just put Luke Skywalker into The Mandalorian
Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau: This is the way
This is the way
This is the way
Way this is....
"This is the way" is a phenomenal piece of marketing genius.
_Literally anything happens, regardless of whether it makes sense or not_
Everyone:
- OoOOOooOo THIS IS THE WAYYYYY 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙀🙀🙀
@Max Rovensky being cynical doesn’t fit in well here. This is a fan thing and we all know it. Sometimes allowing your inner child run with abandon is cathartic. It’s emotionally healthy and, frankly, just a lot of fun.
You are welcome to feel any way you want, but coming to a fan page to pour cold water doesn’t make you cool or sophisticated. It just makes you a troll.
Can you imagine, if this show was shown in movie theaters, how fans would have lost their minds when that green sabre appeared? I remember how the audience collectively lost their minds when the Falcon showed up to save Luke's ass during the trench run. It would be like that...times 10.
I love the fans that looked for the glove. Noticed the behind the back block and crunch all Skywalker moves. This episode made me think of my grandpa who introduced me to star wars and passed before this came out and the whole time I cried like a baby
These reactions make me cry every time.... they show how much people depend on hope....
I will never forgive what they did to Luke in the sequels. Now I understand how hard and devastating it must have been for Mark Hamill.
The reactions to this episode just make me happy. That return of childlike wonder.
R.I.P. to the people who never got to see their hero return as a master... may the force be with them and you.
Grand master Yoda once felt sadness when the people he cared about moved on, but he learned to never be sad that they’re gone, because one day we’ll see them again and that’s a guarantee 😔🙂 May the force be with you all. ❤️
O something tells me that they saw it and they were crying as well among the stars.
Rip
With the official announcement of a Kenobi series, I call your bluff and raise you Disney+ !!
Amen
"Luminous beings are they, not this crude matter."
I had spent a year angry and heartbroken at how Luke went out like a punk in TLJ...and then I saw this and I was howling like Rafiki in lion king when I saw this: "He's alive? HE'S ALIVE!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!"
This was nothing short of JOHN FREAKING WAYNE returning from the grave!
Even if he's just cgi Luke's aperiance here is better then every moment in the entire sequel trilogy to me.
The actor could have had a cardboard mask saying "Insert Luke Skywalker's face here" and I would have been happy.
@Le Patriote He could be waring a t-shirt that sead not sequel Luke.
Could literally be a muppet, and it would still be better than the sequel trilogy's "Lenny Skywalker"
@TheOmegazerox said*
To paraphrase Obi Wan Kenobi:
"I just felt a disturbance in the Force...as if Star Wars fans across the generations suddenly cried out...in joy."
Luke's return was that of a legend, a true hero. He may not be the hero we deserved, but he is the hero we needed.
I don't even know how to describe the experience but man, this scene was so emotional as it was for everyone.
If anything, let this act as a testament to how much people love Star Wars when it's handled right and with care.
I shed tears watching everyone's reactions because I knew I had people out there who felt the same as I did watching this, I was no expecting this in the slightest...I think this is one of the most memorial Star Wars moments ever made.....
I love how they executed this scene. This is fan service done right. The build up is just awesome. First the X-Wing, then the cloaked figure, then the green lightsaber, the force theme, the black glove, the fighting style until finally the hood comes off. The makers knew the fans would go bonkers with every little reveal.
I knew from the X-wing, as all Luke fans did!! I was screaming and in tears long before the reveal actually happened, it’s SO well done!
The best part is just seeing how happy people are about seeing thier childhood hero, its like watching kids open thiet dream Christmas gift.
I love these reactions, no matter how many times I watch them. Full grown men with joy, wonder and tears of joy in their eyes because their hero is back. THIS is how Star Wars is supposed to make you feel. THIS is the joy and wonder we all felt when we became fans. The sequel trilogy failing to have a single moment like this is why it fails in my eyes.
6:06 “its a little roug-“
“ITS LUKE! I DONT CARE, I DONT CARE!” Exactly how I felt 🤣🤣
REMOVE US FROM THIS COMPILATION NOW!!!! Jkjkjk Thanks so much for us including us!!! It was so fun watching everyone’s reaction to this beautiful moment. Much love!
The Reel Rejects ngl, you had me in the first half
Loved your guys reactions! xD
Haha good one and keep up the hard work love your channel
Come on Greg. You were in the Top 3 of Grown-Ass Man Cries
You guys one of the the best reactions ever reel reject you guys are awesome
Kat and Sunny captured my response perfectly.
What a pure moment. I was 9 years old all over again.
Same
This wasn’t just a work of great film makers or story tellers, this was a work made by fans. Fans that love Star Wars and truly want the best for the series and fans, and they delivered and they nailed it
I have watched it 1000 times and it keeps sending shivers down my spine , the goosebumps this scene gives me its incredible 👌
I love the stages of the reveal: x-wing, green light saber, his artificial hand, the force choke, and finally the unveiling.
After the disgraceful way his character was handled in the sequels, it felt so good for everyone to finally see the real Luke Skywalker after so long.
Now THIS is how you pay your respects to Luke's character. The way he fights, similar to his father, his power and mastery of the Force… let’s all remember Luke is THE Jedi, the most powerful Jedi ever
Debatable depending if you consider the EU cannon or not
@Mookie Stewart EU is not canon.
@lilmoris1 the EXPANDED UNIVERSE IS CANON.
@Galaxy Rain It isn’t, Legends however is to some degree
I consider Legends and EU canon
I always felt like the fans of the initial trilogy lost out, especially when watching the badass saber fighting in Ep 1-3.
This scene let us old folks finally get to see one of our childhood heroes at full strength.
Rewatching this one year later. Just as emotional today as it was then. Do you see, LucasArts? Do you see, Disney? _THIS_ is what you _could_ have had in Eps 7, 8 and 9.
I totally teared up during the whole video! Best Luke introduction ever!!!
I've never seen so many grown men cry and I'm here for it! This is how you do the feels!
I still get hit right in the feels when I watch this scene to this day!
It took a wait of 37 years but we finally got to see the Luke Skywalker that we all know & love back on screen.
No way, 37 years? Y'all must be starved. Lol
@BULL DOG frfr 😂
Chapter 16 is way better than the crappy Sequel Trilogy. Because I grew up with both the Original and Prequel Trilogy.
Im just too over it after TLJ them explaining it isnt going to make TLJ popular or have the effect their hoping for it honestly imo should have been a different Jedi
Same with bobba we got glimpses of it before but they were a tease compared to how bad ass he is here
The director did such a good job realing us in. We thought they were not going to make it. Only a Jedi could save them. I remember saying that. THE Jedi showed up. All of us true fans felt the same way. An epic ending.
Esse vídeo devia ser curtido 700 milhões de vezes, de tão foda que é S2
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to Jon and Dave. I was born in '92, watched Phantom Menace, then went back and saw the OG. You really created something no one else could see after decades. You made Luke who he was supposed to be.
even after all this time, I get chills watching this scene. I am not too proud to say I cried when I saw it live the first time. The TRUE hero of my childhood doing what he does best.
It wasn’t the X-wing, it wasn’t the cloak, it wasn’t the green lightsaber. It was the gloved hand. Cried with such joy.
When you get fans to cry at the sight of a character, you know you have done your job. And done it well.
We were in awe at Rogue One ending with nosralgia even though we felt bad for the rebel troopers. This scene mirrors the duality to balance it where light triumphs again 🥲
The jedi mystic that we all believed in, materialises in form of a peak Jedi master in action
I thought it was a different Jedi but seeing Gideon in shock in fear was incredible and I knew it was the chosen one
Seeing the black glove did it for me. I started freaking out uncontrollably.
We are truly one of the cutest fandoms ever, the reactions are just 🥹
When everyone sees Luke and gets all teared up
That's the balance to the force the jedi were waiting for it was so powerful even nonforce users could feel his presence
Luke is a special kind of iconic character. He represents the best in all of us. One who aspires to be the greatest he can. A boy of humble beginings on a backlot planet that no one really visits. To grow up into a man and accept responsiblity in all that it requires of him. A hope for all us that we too can be great if we try. For new generations ahead to live by example.
My dad passed away unexpec tedly in July of 2020. He would tell me about how he drove an hour from the farm he grew up on to the nearest movie theater in 1977 to see the original Star Wars. We used to watch the original trilogy so much it drove the rest of my family a little insane. He even upgraded our home sound system with the excuse that "it can't be too loud if we're watching Star Wars". He took me to the midnight showing premiers of all the prequels and we also saw all of the sequels in the theater together. As soon as Luke's X-wing showed up in this episode, I was overwhelmed with emotion, nostalgia, and so many memories of enjoying our favorite nerdy escape. I could just see the smile on his face as this scene played out and Luke removed his hood to reveal the character he watched on the screen as a teenager and we watched together time after time. The tears I shed that night were for the joy of seeing Luke finally done right after nearly 40 years, but more than that, they were in his memory.
EDIT: Thank you all so much for the thoughtful and caring words of encouragement, and for sharing your stories with me. I'm proud to be a part of this fandom with you. It's nice to be reminded that I should't be afraid to share my experiences and that people can be genuine and kind, even if all we have in common is liking Star Wars. You guys have lifted my spirits.
My condolences, friend. I’m glad you had him in your heart when watching this amazing scene
Your papa is one with the Force now my friend. May the Force be with you always!
I’m so sorry for your loss, I hope you have a great day and remember to stay positive!
I am so sorry for your loss. With that much love poured into his and your collective love for Star Wars, I am certain your dad was there with you for this special episode. Love to you all
I'm so sorry for you loss man, he is one with the force now and trust me he was smiling from above just as much as you were watching that scene
Watching this a year later. The pure childish joy of these fans brings tears to my eyes.
That. Was. Brilliant. I had goosebumps in every segment. Good work.
The way moff just tries to kill himself bc luke was there shows how POWERFUL hes become
11:37 This dude's reaction made me smile. He's just so genuinely happy.
It’s amazing how all you see is a green light saber and everyone loses it it’s so wholesome once they realize who it is.
I watched the episode with zero expectations or knowledge of what's coming. I had no idea I would witness something that I was waiting for about 25 years (when I watched the first trilogy) aswell as probably the best tv show episode I've seen in my life. This is so unique and memorable...
Same here! So glad I didn't see any spoilers/had no idea what to expect. Got me emotional... amazing!
A bit longer for me, but I feel exactly the same. So let down by Luke in Last Jedi (until the very end). I needed this Luke. The good one, and now fully trained
Agree! Me too! I was waiting it since The Return!
Niles N You do know she had as much involvement in the Mandalorian as the movies, right? Mandalorian happened because of her
Spot on, they had such an opportunity with the Last Jedi to do Luke properly, but was wasted. So glad they made this
The best scene is Star Wars history. We will probably never get another moment like this
I'm not even a Star Wars fan but I feel happy seeing these folks get pure joy seeing the GOAT.
It's reactions like these that the team behind any Star Wars content should watch and take very seriously. The importance of Luke and our connection with him is something that Rian Johnson clearly was unaware of or at least underestimated badly.
I cried like a baby at this scene. Luke was my hero as a child.
This meant the world to me, i was there in 78 (released in UK Jan 78), lining up around the block in the cold winter weather with my family. The way Lucas should have done it. Wonderful moment.
The tears from Jay and Adam from Previewed are so pure and real! Love them!
I love how Luke also did the back block like Anakin did. Really said.. “Here is your franchise back, don’t lose it.”
Kenobi did it first--against Maul. It was the inspiration for both Anakin's and Luke's.
This is the best response ever. As a 55 year old man i felt that the franchise lost me. I cried in front of my family as I watched this and have no regrets. I hope they get it back on track from this point forward.
@Jeff Shenning I think/hope that everything coming out from here on out will either be decent-amazing. With the trailer for the Book of Boba looking really promising I haven't lost hope yet. I really want to see a good starwars movie soon! The disappointment after disappointment has been really annoying!
@Jeff Shenning 55... you're as old as my dad
@Jeff Shenning you know it won't undo the jedi must end because Luke had a bad dream, right
The first Jedi training that Luke had ever learned was on Millenium Falcon by blinding himself and trying to stop the shooting from Training Droid as Kenobi taught him. Now, at this stage, Luke, just simply put on his cool hood and kicked droid asses while they attempted to shoot at him. He had, indeed, come a long way.
Character development at its finest
Watching this is genuinely making me tear up, this scene and Vader's in Rogue One will forever be iconic. I love Star Wars and its fanbase! 😭
The fact that like 90% of them thought it would be Sebastian Stan proves that he absolutely needs to play Luke soon 😂
Congratulations. That is the first reaction video I have ever actually sat through. In some ways, it was almost as good as watching the actual scene for the first time. Puts in perspective that for fans, this is literally a generation defining moment.
The whole scene is literally perfect.
Your heart knows it's Luke from the second you see the single X-Wing. But your head won't let you fully commit.
They then sequentially give us more and more information (hooded figure > green Saber > gloved arm > fighting style > mastery of the force) until it's undeniable and you don't even need him to take off his cloak
The moment all Star Wars fans around the world became one with The Force.
This is the way
This is the way **cries**
This is the way
This is the way!
We lost our way with the force(episode 7,8, and 9) till this scene. We have found the right path to the force.
This episode, scene, resonates so strongly because it speaks to that Deus Ex Machina hope that an Avatar will appear w/ the power to put down wrong-doers and Evil. One ironic humorous point being Ming Na Wen's character on MAOS was known as "the Cavalry".
There's something so cool and terrifying about seeing Luke destroying the droids like ants Just like how vader slaughtered the rebels. Like father like son.
I hope the writers and producers watch this and got the reactions they hoped for
Man, I went to see The Last Jedi with my uncle and he absolutely hated it, saying that was not Luke Skywalker. Either way, I enjoyed watching it with him. He passed away 3 months before this episode premiered. Really hoped he got to see that his childhood hero was redeemed.
The dude's reaction at 2:58 is priceless and the two dudes at 22:53. It was my reaction too. Something in me awoke when I seen this scene. It's like the kid in me who's been asleep for decades just came out and I ugly cried because it was one of the most beautiful scenes ever.
We all miss the old Luke and life can be hard but this scene makes up for it all.
Wow. The Mandolorian changed Star Wars Forever. They really are fixing Star Wars😭.
Remember this series leads up to episodes 7,8,9 so not really
@Eji They don’t count
@Eji Favreu and other producers are completely reconstructing how the Sequel trilogy is going to be effected by this. Don’t lose hope.
@Eji they made 7,8,9. Thought it was just a bad dream i had.
How is it fixing Star Wars? Was it ever really broken? I know a lot of people didn't like the new trilogy, but I'm going to be honest guys the prequels were far worse films. The prequels didn't break Star wars so why would you let the new ones?
When I am sad, I love to watch this video and to see all the people so happy.
I watched a lot of movies and series but nothing beats this scene. Emotional, strong, heroic, full of hope and hapiness. All of these emotions bound together.
I haven't seen any Star Wars movie since "Return of the Jedi" when I was 7 months pregnant in 1983. But to see all these people so excited to see Luke Skywalker made me cry, just to think that people would still get as excited as we all did when the first trilogy came out all those years ago
