The voice isn't as bad as I thought after watching the trailer twice it's 70% Rick's voice and 30% off I'm glad Morty's voice is 100% accurate

Rick's yelling voice sounds very raspy but when he's just talking normally its fantastic. Morty was almost perfect.

This was not as bad as I thought it would be and I’m sure the new Rick’s voice will grow on all of us

Morty's voice actor is near 100% accurate. Rick is like around 60% to 70%. I feel the deeper into the season we get the more that number will go up.

I'm happy to say the Morty voice was imitated extremely well! Rick's is noticeably different but not in a bad way, he sounds more chill which is a welcome change.

wow, I really had low expectations on the new voices, but those are great, Ricks is good and Mortys is basically 100% accurate, love it

I can very easily see these new voices grow into the roles over time, especially when seasons 8 on will actually allow more freedom since they will no longer have to worry about matching the existing Roiland track.

This season looks jam packed! After watching the vogue interview of people trying to impersonate the characters I knew adult swim would find someone REALLY CLOSE to the original. I’m always excited for more Rick and Morty 😄 let’s gooooooooo 100 years

There was definitely some uneven-ness to the voice matching in certain shots, but for the most part they sound great! Definitely want to see how the new voice actors settle in to everything overtime. And it looks like they are gonna have Rick start hitting the bottle hard again. And I like how it looks like Wong may have a larger (even if only slightly larger) role in this season.

Rick sounds a little more raspy, but honestly who cares. as long as the spirit of the show remains the same it will be enjoyable!

According to some articles, it's actually two people. One person is voicing rick while another is voicing Morty, which I believe will make the chemistry better. Also, when this rick is yelling it feels more authentic and funny. Really excited for the premiere

I thought they said they were gonna have completely fresh new voices. But I don't mind, I think these are really good!

Rick is the most noticeably diffferent one but I'm sure I can adjust to the new voice with time because it's not bad.
Morty, however, sounds really good. Like, identical to the original! Super stoked for the new season!

honestly really like the new voices. Kinda reminiscent of the first few episodes of season 1, which i’ve always been fond of.

The new voices work really well. Ricks voice isnt exactly the same but it doesn't take away from the character. I could definitely get used to it.

The voice’s actually sound really good the new actors did an amazing job I’m very impressed how much they actually sound like the original

Im really happy with these voices! Theyre similar enough that it doesnt take me out of the show like Korvo's new voice did but still unique enough to not sound like an impression or exact copy while still having the same energy as the characters

Can definetly hear a very different voice when rick is shouting but it isnt as bad as people made it out to be. As long as the show has kept the same humour this will be a blast.

Morty’s voice is spot on. Rick’s is a little higher than before, but still feels like the rick we know and love.

This looks great! Sometimes I think people forget what the 7th season of an adult animation usually resorts to.

Ricks voice will definitely take time to sit right for me. But the show will still be good and I think it would just grow on us.

If I focus hard I can just barely tell the voice actors are different, but I don't think I'd have noticed if I didn't know. Well done. As good as could be hoped for.

Rick’s is just the exact distance from the actual voice to land in an uncanny valley for me, every cell in my body is going “that’s not right”. Morty is freaking spot on though, I genuinely forgot he was not Roiland for a minute. Actual content of the trailer looks like it’s having a lot of fun with the world of R&M

It's just a bit of a shame that during the screams it loses characters, but otherwise it's clean!

I have to say, I'm impressed how close they are. Morty is closer but not half bad and I am really liking these trailers put to classic metal songs.

Mortys voice is alright it's just with Rick's voice you can tell something is off

rick’s voice is a bit different but it isn’t even that bad as everyone said it was going to be but morty’s voice is perfect nothing wrong about it overall i’m just excited to see if rick and morty fight rick prime or even evil morrty

I am honestly surpised that the new voice roles kinda worked out despite it obliviously sounding a little off but these new voices slowly grow over time to the point that this sounds normal so its cool.

I wish there were some more voice cracks in Ricks voice, at times it feels like he isn't pushing out with all his emotion. But I'm not mad.

back in season one the voices felt a little undeveloped and got better by season 2 and on, i’m sure the same will happen here and they already sound great - morty especially is like indistinguishable

I can't be surprised it was so easy to imitate the voices but what is amazing to me is how close it is, they're only really lacking Roiland's penchant for throwing improved stuttering into their dialogue.

Though it might time getting used to this is a lot better than what I had the bar set to! Expectations for this season have risen 🗣🔥

Kudos to the new voice cast! Even after two viewings, Morty sounds exactly the same, while Rick only sounds noticeably different in about three of those clips.

This is much closer to the original voice than I thought it would be. Nice!

Season 8 will probably be where we see the new VA shine. My guess is that they are working off the Roiland script unedited so hopefully they can take into account the new VAs strengths and quirks when writing season 8.

I'm glad they were right when Beth and Summer said that old friends like Gearhead might pop up during the season announcement video. Makes me wonder if any of the other predictions they talked about could happen as well.

Rick seems to sound older than Roiland's.. I'm not saying it's bad but I'll have to get used to it but as for Morty.. perfect choice! Sounds identical! I'm waiting for season 7!

Rick's voice is off sometimes, but mostly looks very very very close to the og. I'm impressed, this is gonna be awesome!

In a way they are kind of gambling on these new voices. Seems like they have great energy for this season 🎉

Even though there is a very obvious change in Rick and Mortys voice I am still impressed to see someone who can do something so close to it and am intrigued to see their humor they will put in this amazing show

They sound alright, not perfect but definitely not bad. It’ll take time to get used to but I’m fs hyped to see how they grow into the roles

For the most, Morty’s voice sounds overall unchanged and as it should. Rick on the other hand, some sounds perfectly on while some is slightly off….. I wonder if maybe it’s due to already recorded audio, which in my opinion just butchers things a little. Only other thing I was hoping they might be doing is a form of AI because at least there some (heavy) editing can be done to properly iterate vocals and dialog. Some ch I came across the past couple months was doing their own series invoking Rick and other popular icons had a pretty vocally spot-on 1, too, just not humanly conversational, like you can tell a robot speaking from a human. It wasn’t horribly bad, either, some words were mispronounced and that obvious AI sort.

I mean, the voice change for Rick is definitely noticeable, but it's not terrible. I could get used to it over time, it feels close enough. Morty actually sounds pretty spot-on tbh.

I honestly think they sound very close to the real thing, way better then I thought it would be. Would be hard for me to get into the season with totally different voices, probably would have ruined it for me...

The new voice feels better. It has more tone to it. The one thing I hope they change, is Rick's yelling sound, the original just sounded like they cut the sound from another episode, like when he got his arm torn off by those bird things that were half Beth's old friend and half creature thing.

Props to the new Rick and Morty VAs giving of the familiar vibe while still being something original.

I was so worried that the voices would take away the feel of the show. Just from watching this trailer whoever is doing them is actually killing it.

It will never feel the same or be as funny without Justin's iconic voice and tone. This is close but you can feel the bootleg in every line. The charges against him were dropped, he should be reinstated.

7 seasons later and I still get excited

If I didn't know any better, I would have assumed those lines to be Justin's voice. Because I know, I think it's easier to concentrate on little things like the lack of rasp. Overall, not bad and I will definitely not notice the difference after a while. The performer will likely get even better as time goes on. Great job!

Morty sounds excalty the same and Rick's is very similar but has a lighter tone. I'm lovin it ❤

For me they nailed the sound I mean morning sounds pretty spot on Rick's Cadence isn't the same but that's because it's not the same person so that we don't have that emotional rendition of the character from that actor and to be honest I am actually curious about this new actor for Rick because he talks a little more slow he's not as fast and off-the-cuff how I think this might be a pretty good season but we'll have to see I'm just excited to see guardian of our planet Water T!!!

Sean kelly did a fantastic job on the voices, nearly identical and i can’t believe they went with this instead.

If they do give an in show explanation, Marty having a puberty related change and Rick's alcoholic traits finally catching up with them would be a good fit

Whatever percent the likeness of their voice is, I'm just happy that the show goes on.
