Also as people have asked in the build video if this is still up but no we took it down after filming as someone would most likely take a dump in it or it will collapse in time, the beach was returned to normal.........apart from a massive crater muhahaha.

It's finished and for a random idea i had it turned out great. Now this project has caused quiet a stir and even been called my most dangerous project as digging in sand is risky. It was sad to take it down as i couldn't leave it there as someone would prob take a dump in it and it would collapse at some point but we shall remember it as the best beach hut the east coast has ever seen................cut to old people crying. SUBSCRIBE as next week its just as crazy.

@Jug bruh thats complete bullshit. Ostriches can run about 45 mph. If they cant outrun a tbread they can kick it to death with there extremely powerful legs (which have claws on them) there have even been occasions where an ostrich killed a lion. They only put there head in the sand if they see a preditor or threat before it sees him to look like a pile of dirt.

My brother and I did basically the same thing here in the US. We had a great big field (about 2 acres) on a hill behind our house approx 200 feet from the house. We dug a 10 foot sq hole shored up the sides, built a roof out of layers of logs and sod, ran power cords, put a stereo, and tv in it with a rug for the floor, and hung out for the summer in our underground fort. It lasted through the spring until someone bought the land and walked on our roof while we were down there. The guy had no idea he was on our fort until we opened the trap door to investigate why the dirt was sprinkling down, he almost jumped out of his skin when the 2 of us climbed out. Of course we lost all rights to the fort but it was fun while it lasted. A no we didn't get flooded out.

As a US Army veteran please allow me to lend you my plentiful hole in sand digging experience. if you are digging for an underground structure in sand dig the hole approximately 2x as wide as it is deep. Lightly spraying water helps prevent collapse. and once your structure is in place refill the same way you would re-tighten lug nuts (1,3,2,4) because if you just go (1,2,3,4) that bad boy will shift.

Me and my friends made a underground house for gaming when we where teens. My house just got worked on and we had a ton of tools and wood and a backhoe we had no idea how to use. But over the summer we finished it. One massive room under the dirt in my backyard we ran around 20 power strips to it got our PC's from home and some lap tops it got so hot from the PCs we where sweeting so much it started to stink so we got a few AC units down there and for the next 4 years in high school we would meet up at the end of the day to raid in wow underground. We had a mini frig stacked with drinks and a micro wave. I miss it somuch but My Mom Made me take it out after I was leaving for uni so they could build a pool. RIP sweet 2000's.

Still I can't help but wonder why an intelligent man like you would build a subterranean beach hut?!?!?!? Beautiful and creative, but not safe in any way bro.

In grand designs there was a family that build a two story subterainian house under there lawn. Was like a 300m2 home literally just under the lawn. They just cut of like 15 meters and sold ther old house.

Might as well ad 2 levels above ground! make it a 5 level beach hut! Maybe even have a terrace on top, to enjoy the view while you sip your tea!

You can't imagine how many people died digging holes in sand because they not reinforced properly the walls.

Just curious if having both the lids and door open makes a difference. I knew someone who was claustrophobic would be ok so long as the small space they were in had an opening of some kind, like a small room with a single open window or something like that.

You what you can do is instead of have to climb through the holes to get down, you can make steps from the bottom story to the top! Then, from there you can branch out and build more rooms!!!!
