LaTocha is the type that when she thinks that she has something good going on she doesn't need the group, then when things don't pan out how she planned then she wants to run back and be a part of the group.
Initially, she was not; it was just the 3 and when she got in she went to takeover. She was jealous of Kandi from the jump especially when Tamika bragged on her and what they were doing. That’s the reason their mom told them she is the 5th member and she ain’t did half of what Ms. Diane and Mama Joyce did. Tocha wish she was a gold and platinum songwriter like Kandi. This is why she didn’t want Tamika to be 50/50 with the gospel deal.

There is a parable in the bible that hints at what Kandi said. The master gave everyone 2 pence (coins). Exactly, she’s definitely been slighted and blamed and pulled into issues and problems she wasn’t responsible for creating. I can appreciate who she is as an individual. I can also appreciate her voice and speaking HER truth. As a part of the group and the most distinctive voice in the group, he opinion matters. These women are beautiful, talented, and gifted but Kandi is not the enemy. Watching the show, what they displayed, no amount of editing can cover up how latosha comes across. As an 80s babies/90s kid who grew up watching Nickelodeon's "My Brother & Me", this whole saga reminds me of the "Big Lou/HIT ME-EE" episode. In it, Alphie taught DeeDee how to bluff; DeeDee then told his nemesis "HIT ME" & wound up unexpectedly getting what he ordered. Welp, in this case, Tocha dared Tamika to "HIT ME with receipts". Tamika whipped out the evidence & delivered the same punch to the Bivens that Big Lou delivered to DeeDee. The only difference with Xscape is that it was the actual bully who got sucker-punched.

What we deem as "messy" is really those directly involved being shrewd. If the views increase, then larger companies bid to have commercials play during the show. Teamwork! Yeah I went back and watched Still Kickin It and I actually cried because this is a tough one. I’m tired of seeing women who cannot seem to come together and achieve greatness. I am an Atlanta Native and to me there will never be anything like XScape. They made me feel proud seeing four young women who can really sing doing their thing. I admired Kandi because she looked like me and represented us brown skinned girls. I hope that this opposition turns into an opportunity for these ladies to show and prove what real forgiveness looks like so we can change the narrative about how women “can’t” come together

Absolutely. Latoacha thought she was coming to get Kandi/Tiny Checks but she act like she didn’t see what Hell Kandi/Tiny had to go through on these Realities TV. Thank God the fans loved them as they allow the camera into their personal lives and it paid off for some. Look back at the ones that didn’t survive Reality TV. This Reality TV Fame is Real. Ain’t for the weak. They eat you up and move on for the next victim.
