I actually love the idea of an SMP full of wild superhuman/animal hybrid/cybernetically enhanced people building stuff and then having Scar just be a totally normal guy along for the ride :D

@HalfShelHero i think it was the "starborne" origin, but im really not sure, since many origins have sparkles, but it wouldve fit with his aviator shtick

Doc's Wrath has Scar fled to the peacful lands of New Life. In his rush to get here, he totally didn't understand how the life thing works. Should be many good laughs throughout the series!
He is in hiding in New Life series and those poor folks have no idea of the whirlwind of chaos that is Scar heading their way. XD

For a plane name, there's a famous plane that goes by the name of the Spruce Goose because it made entirely out of wood to save of weight and materials. Since your plane is made of of concrete, how about the Concrete Condor?

As an aviation "enjoyer", it warms my heart to see a model biplane being built in Minecraft that's realistic (for a block game at least)! Thank you Scar!!
The shadows come from the minecart and glass panes traveling through blocks such as leaves from the trees, you should make the propeller one of those windmills to make it more dynamic while flying! Great building as always!
Seeing as the glass panes WILL travel through blocks, I have an idea on how to get Scar's plane to dip down and up: just build a section of the plane's track that goes underground! Maybe the part where it lands has a single hole for the glass pane so it's not in shadows, but that way the plane can be on the ground when he wants to get on, then have it fly away when he takes off!
13:22 Scar is arguably the best landscaper/terraformer in all of minecraft with just vanilla blocks, imagine what he'll be able to do with all these!
Literally a second in and all I have to say is SCAR MUST BE PROTECTED AND/or given 10 times the normal amount of lives in any limited life scenario
Scar seems to love making dangerous bases to fall off of whenever he's in a hardcore/semi-hardcore series.

@Lucas2394 well that seems to be what he's setting up, pretty sure the origins are automatically assigned so he doesn't have one on purpose, maybe he jsut didn't want to play with one and set up this narrative.
@Ash no, he genuinly forgot to get one to start with, but after he died it should be a random one and he didnt reveal, prob cause he doesnt know how
@Pixel Raid hmm i would think most the origins are pretty obviously different(either by size, tint, or amount of health) and we saw none of those reflected on scar's ingame character, we will see if he mentions it next episode or something i am sure
The plane idea is so cool! I'm not well versed enough in the create mod to suggest how your planes might land, but I'm sure someone out there has some ideas. I can't wait until the other players on New Life see your builds and are blown away like the rest of us.

Your plane is a bit small for this, but you could hide block and track placers, aswell as retrievers, inside your flying structure. That way you don’t need any connection to the ground, and no track is visible. The cart would just run on an internal track that is actively created in front of it, and destroyed behind it.

Btw scar, for the biplane the back wheel should be a little smaller and not so level with the front wheel because they rest on the runway at an angle, with a usually very small little back wheel and two larger front wheels. Looks great though 👍

I know it may seem simple but I was thinking in reference not only to the color but also to Amelia Earheart’s plane the Canary, her first plane, a yellow Kinner Airster, which also so happens to be a biplane
Both planes could be named after small birds of the same color and it even alliterates

7:02 - Scar, those hanging plant pots are amazing, certain plants like glowberries can be put inside and grown to droop over the pot. It makes for a really nice looking light source.
Also, I wonder if Scar will ever be invited to play on a sever with Create & Valkyrien skies. I almost thought he was since he was talkin' about making moving flying planes lol.

I was sad Scar had to stop doing the Create Mod server because of his health issues, but it was understandable. Even so I'm really glad to see him return in full force to modded Minecraft on this SMP!

When I see that biplane flying backward, the "Reverse Cardinal" comes to mind as a name. Just as a nickname, sort of like how the Hughes H-4 Hercules was called the Spruce Goose.
Hey Scar, not sure if you've figured it out since filming this episode but Origins are randomly assigned when you first join and then each time you die. I'm unsure of what the key to see your current origin is (I think O), but if you ask any of the other server members I'm sure they'd be happy to help.
I'm thinking that the particle effect you had before your first death was related to your origin.

Yeah I also thought that the sparkles were part of his origin, the other 3 humans don't have any special effects like that. (Yes, I have been jumping around others perspectives, I was very excited to see scar upload a video on the server finally)
I think his first origin was enderian. He had particles that resembled an enderman and he hid under a block in rain. Once Scar knows hot to check his origin, we'll find out what his 2nd origin is hopefully.
@Tyler Mercado i thought so too, except then he swam across a river which should have killed him if he was an enderian
I thought Enderian as well, but that was not likely considering he later ran in the rain and swam in the water. My second guess was starborne, but I wasn't sure because I think starbornes get some kind of potion effect during the day.
What about the Flying Jelly for a name for the plane? Also, there's a block in Create, I think it was a Windmill Bearing, that can be glued and it can act as sort of a propeller, spinning whatever's attached to the front. If memory serves, bearings are automatically turned on when part of a moving contraption.

Scar! You should totally use a windmill for the biplane’s engine so that it spins while the plane is in flight. I think that’d be a fun little touch to an already incredible build
I think the minecraft circle track (with diagonal block placement) will look much more interesting. The constant turns will make the plane in all sorts of crazy directions

Scar, just dig the track down for every port so it looks like the plane descends, evens out, and stops just along the ground. Love this episode btw

An alternative to the pistons could be the turntables from Create. They might work better in this case, and could possibly allow you to make the propeller spin too.
Scar, I think your plane needs some kind of Jellie face on it to show people whose it is! If you can't fit a Jellie face into the side or tail of your plane with blocks, maybe look into whether you can glue those custom paintings that you guys have (the ones that people have been pranking Jimmy with).
Since you all want to give each other your base waystones, you should set them as Global waystones. You can also use Global waystones to share cool dungeons and stuff with each other.

I don't think I've ever heard scar saying anything as scary as "There are secret Jellies hidden inside my skin"
Suuuuuper creepy.
You should sink the track deep underground in a V direction such that when the cart is at the bottom of the V the plane will be on the ground. This will make it appear to land going down the V and take off just after the lowest point. It is also the perfect way to get in and off the plane. You could even use wireless Redstone to redirect the track so that you can decide whether to land this loop around the track or the next.

Hey Scar! If you want to make completely functional plane or flying machine that isnt connected to railroad or anything and can move in every direction (even up and down) you could achieve it with Valkyrien Skies mod. You could then make ships too. You guys should definitely add this mod if you can!
You can waterlog the rails if you want a slower airspeed! Might make it easier to get up onto the aircraft.
To get up to the plane you could make an elevator up to the level of the airplane, perhaps in a control tower. You can easily make elevators using a gantry carriage and gantry shafts :).
The plane is also looking awesome, a true masterpiece and in the first episode!

@GoodTimesWithScar some red stone advice: why not just dig a deeper slope into the ground for the mine cart so that the plane drops down naturally when approaching the airport?
This is such a cool idea!
You can make the plane "land" by having the track go down enough no ? Dig a trench in the middle of the runway, and you can even control take off and landing from a control tower. Then you build a network of rails, with switches to decide on which track the cart should go and you can do real aerial ballets.

I think you can use track recycling to continuously fly forward, but it complicates turns quite a bit.

I have no idea if this is possible in this modpack, but it’d be wicked if you could have some kind of flying steam-punk pirate ship or zeplin similar in function to a Jawa Sandcrawler
