We've admired the pioneering work of Wim Hof for years now from afar. This January however we got an opportunity to spend four days with him in the mountains of Poland. We didn't know what to expect. We had no idea that Wim was at a place in his life where he wanted to push his findings to the next level....we had no clue that we were his experiments in proving just how powerful the mind is.

im a fan
This video made my day. Thanks
Yes
You got a Clip-Share where’s the WI-FI signal
Lots of respect to the lady, a true badass. She didn’t bat an eye in the water and never complained.
@Rocketship Anything worthy to say you are you just going to talk nonsense wasting time?
So far you seem to be drinking koolaid
@Lei Ying Lo Explain why... instead of attacking with some philosophical bullshit.
I gotta say Ammar is an absolute beast. Thomas was showed so much resolve in overcoming the war that was being fought within his mind. Massive kudos to the whole team.
This is by far the most inspirational video on youtube. Once every other month I come back here and everytime I'm just in awe.
Am truly soo speechless
haha same
So much respect for this group, becoming superhuman; so true.
ammar's reaction after the 10 minute bath was just... the greatest energy ever. wow! truly infectious. love that for you ammar! 💗🫶🏻
It's been a dream of ours for a while now to make a documentary. Can't thank the Yes Theory boys enough for making it happen and letting us tell this story. 🙌🏼🙌🏾
Today I was able to do 4minutes in 30 degrees pond. Only just 3 breathing sessions. I live in missouri. Very cold.. loving life more.
@nic aus you got a point, what you said makes sense when exposing themselves to icy waters for long minutes.
But cold showers are good from time to time.
Samir tawa3na yatik saha
Very impressive
Thomas was the least mindful and positive, and low and behold, he had the hardest time. Proving Wim right with every step.
@Paul Jansen Nah. When Wim said he sucked he wasn't joking lol.
Chicken vs the Egg. Maybe he's the most mindful and understands what he struggles with most?
I totally agree if Thomas didn't complain as much about the cold it would have been a totally different experience for him. I imagine it was hard not to complain but that's just my opinion after watching it
Ohhh that’s why!
The wowan did incredible, it's a shame they haven't recorded it as much than the others, the woman during the ice bath it was the best very focus.
@Morim you got mommy issues dude.
@evgo80 I guess she was acting manly lol.
@evgo80 Men are called wossies when being compared to women lol 😂.
@evgo80 women☕️
She got seconds of footage and they got all the rest. Love the male ego.
The way she closed her eyes and was completely calm in the water was the most impressive thing to me in this video. 🙂💪
@Diana B They all did it
I agree. Wim seemed to ignore her. She got little or no attention from any of them. They were to busy breaking their arms patting themselves on the back when she j u s t DID IT.
I actually felt very emotional when I heard that "Wim wanted to teach us/make us realise that the mental ability is within us, and his intention was not to teach us his methods ".
What an uplifting experience the video itself.
I have been scrolling through the videos for a while now and I just found this and I do not know what to say. This is probably the best documentary I have ever watched, so inspiring and somehow you guys managed to capture all the magic that is within our own possibilities. I was born in Siberia, migrated to Germany and grew up there, then moved to Spain and am now in the process of moving to the united states. I have been dealing with anxiety for a long time and can so deeply connect with so much of your content but this really made me cry, I feel encouraged to continue with everything that I wish for myself. This film will carry me along a long way, thank you very much guys!
And here I am thinking I’m brave taking a room temperature shower
If you take a cold shower and don't eat before, for about 5-10 mins, a knot in the stomach you didn't know was there will open itself
That's definitely a good first step! If you wanna get tough you ALWAYS start small, so don't feel bad!
yep
I did this today lmao
I am so glad Thomas said that at the end about Wim’s real reason for not showing them the methods was because he wanted them to understand that it isn’t the method, it’s the belief and the human drive that makes this possible… because half way through this, all I could think of was my dad’s method with me growing up: every time I would ask him to show me how to do something technically challenging, he’d agree and then get me started and make me do it my own way. I’d say “show me YOUR way” and he would laugh and make me finish. He would never show me his way until I did it my own, start to finish. After I got to be in my 20s and had a child, he told me my son would ask me how to do things one day and that it would be up to me whether I leaped up and did them for him, showed him how I had done it or gave him the tools and motivation to do it on his own. He said you always wanted to do things my way, and every time you figured it out on your own, that’s exactly what you were doing because I had to figure these things out on my own growing up, and it made me appreciate them.
Thanks for the lessons dad!
This man is key to tapping into something we were told our whole life isn’t actually there . I’ve broken thru something a couple of times where my mind has overruled what was physically gonna on . The 1st time when I was 24 starting my career climbing my first 60ft utility pole . Ever physical part of my body was rejecting the task but I gave my body no choice but to complete the task
Not only entertaining but really informative and inspirational. I've used this concept for labour and really believe that this mindset helps with every area of pregnancy, labour and the post natal period. Great to see it in practice with studies confirming it
Ive grown up with chronic pain problems from some medical issues and as a teenager started researching meditation and developed some similar basic methods then found out about Iceman and it brought me to an entire other level of being
I'm truly intrigued as to what happened to Matt during the breathing exercise?! What did Wim have to do to settle him down?
This was truly inspiring...
It's amazing what the Yes Theory boys go trough just to share incredible content with their fans!
hands down the best creators on this platform!
@Dennis S haha alright, good point! It was at the top of the comments section and I didn't check 😁 just discovered this channel!
@wjeurs This comment is a year old brother, they had maybe 1.2m back when I posted this lol
@Dennis S underrated? 6 million subscribers is not underrated in my opinion, but yeah, they deserve even more... 😇
@Nemo_boo that's so true!

You are all an inspiration to the world!! Thank you! I do cold showers on a regular basis
This video is so inspiring! Lots of different emotions, real situations, believing and not believing... Thank you very much. I do cold swims from time to time, but this video gives me such a boost to continue and try a longer time each time!
I would have loved to have been part of this group. This whole thing made me emotional. I have a sense of being proud of all of them even though I don't know any of them. Amazing what the mind can do.
Wim is a crazy man. What he has uncovered about human nature is more then revolutionary. This legitimately brings me to question what I would uncover about myself if I sought out these parts of my own mind. And it scares me. I hope our civilization seeks thus level of awakening
Same!! I’m thinking my hermit lifestyle is a big mistake I’m going into, I gotta learn these methods and commit myself to reach my potential
I tried his breathing technique and it literally works for my anxiety. I feel relaxed and I love the natural high
Absolutely 1000000% highest level of respect for you all. You’re all unbelievable humans. Hats off to you. 💗💗💗💗💗💗
@AI've seen a million dumb comments on Clip-Share, but I think yours takes the cake. Well done 👏
@A so what it's thair life they can fo what they want . If we don't try things that are tough we will become soft and human progress on will stop . Such snowflakes .
I love Hoffs response to how Thomas did. It was genuine, Thomas dealt with things very different than the rest of the group, but he dealt with it and came out better. My best time in the ice is 12 minutes and I've never been in a more euphoric mindset. 10/10 recommend.
Wim and this young woman have been absolutely amazing. Most inspiring I have ever watched.
@Diana B Its called team work.
They where doing this together, do you understand?
@$hervi The rest of them bellowed, whinged and whined. She did it all silently. No propping up of her by Wim. The boys got his attention but as far as I could see, she was ignored. She JUST DID IT.
And the rest were not amazing ?
Knowing what alpine wind feels like... these guys efforts are actually incredible. I'm really impressed
I love how all the guys are grunting and shouting, and the woman just goes in and does the 10 min ice bath...😉❤️👍
Women’s body temp is higher on average than men because the uterus is so warm and provides a major source of heat
@Diana B She maked noise as well, rewatch.
YUP that's exactly what I thought. Not a winge from her. Never. Yet no one even acknowledged her.
Your way of thinking needs some work.
@Eric Bishard I didn't see any bubbles
This was very enlightening. Just when I thought there were limits to what a human can really do, here comes this. Simply amazing.
Imagine just walking in the woods and you just stumble upon a circle of people screaming in cold water

I often rewatch this one. One of my favorite video's on Clip-Share
when I feel down i watch this video , it reminds me how powerful we are and we can overcome our thinking and take control

Outstanding documentary and story telling 👏👏👏 Wim Hof is entertaining as well.
To me, it looks like Wim wanted to give them a lesson on what “real discomfort” can be.
Actually even if some of us search for it, we (especially westerners) don’t know what real discomfort is.
I think that Wim is not just a practitioner but a master.. and masters are those who can push you beyond your limits.
I don't know about you but for me the cameraman was the best in this documentary. He deserves an award
I am beyond amazed and impressed with your ability to train your mind to withstand such extremities, especially considering the limited training beforehand. ALSO, as a side comment, Ammar makes it look soooo easy, and with such grace. Amazing work, editing, filming, music, etc. Overall so so well done.
I really admired how calm and supportive Ammar was throughout the whole process, such a one of a kind friend.
Agreed. Love that guy
@Jesus loves you I hadn't committed them yet so he was a bit presumptuous
Jesus Christ died for your sssinnnsss
Yes theory always puts my head back in a good place. What a beautiful message and tone they bring to every video they make.
Wow this was really pushing Thomas, I’m really impressed with how well he did. Truly seeking discomfort
Understanding your mind has no limits is an amazing feeling. Thank you Wim Hof and Yes Theory for letting your positive energy enlighten our worlds.
Really appreciated.. You guys are very adaptable with any of the environment, which every human aren't ready for. 🙏😊
this was so inspirational and ive also started showering in cold waters and already doing meditations since my youth, but I love the amount of positive effect I have gained from this method, so cool you guys did the extreme and thank you for being brave doing it!
So we have a Swedish who afraid of cold and an Egyptian who is comfortable with extreme cold
haha very true :))
Tobias Sundquist neither am I
@CaroleanColonel im not english.
Tobias Sundquist contries lol
Tobias Sundquist nah I don’t think I did
I saw this video before and need to watch it again. This is extremely dangerous challenging the human power to the limit yet.. you all nailed it. Not to forget the laying down meditation to the extreme that some got so deep like their souls is out of their bodies. Kudos to the great trainer!
Phenomenal video. Thank you everyone who had a part in creating it 🙏🏽
I really feel like im been through the experience with you guys, it was amazing to watch, the filming and the adding of the adventure was great and its make my week start better!!!
Thank you❤❤❤
It's amazing to see Ammar thriving in those conditions! And super cute to hear Thomas thinking about his mom - the guys did so many crazy things in the past but still think about what will mom say
What a GOAT 🐐Wim Hoff is❤❤❤❤
I loved how the men were roaring and screaming in the cold bath and the girl was just relaxing.
@L.O.V.E Drive science has not proved anything
@Rocketship oh no i wont sleep after that :o
@RocketshipDid your husband give you permission to get on Clip-Share?
@It's All about that Bass Oh found the misogynist too!
@Morim Found the incel!
Wow! I was actually crying watching this. Going through hard times myself, I think this gave me some glimmer of HOPE in myself. Thank you Yes Theory and Seek Discomfort both! 🙏❤️
Wow! Inspirational, I was happy to see a young woman brave it! She was meditative, quite, and in control of her emotions, a great example of strength and fortitude. "She" rocks!!!
hats off, guys! and thank you! You were the reason I spent two winters in a row only in pullover. Been taking cold showers everyday and tried a 10 minute ice bath. Thank you
This is amazing to watch. I've been in -15 with wind chill and it was so cold I had real tears. Not from any emotion reason but just a physical reaction to the cold. Amazing to watch. I think their hiking kept their body temperature up during that final segment.
He's the type of guy to drink cold water after eating mint gum
Hello Kakyoin
I do that
Lol
@John Rasmussn LMFAO
i love doing that
Great work. The real wim and the real you guys comes out in the cold.
Alot of what he said made sense. Glad I watched this one. Kind of exactly what I needed to hear. As we get older our mind and body can get soft if we don't stay pushing our limits. And I am personally looking to tap back into pushing myself to higher and higher limits until they through dirt on my face. Thanks Wim and Yes Theory.
I'm blessed to have this mini documentary for free. It was a great journey to watch and I applaud all of your efforts!
Super inspiring. We should do cold immersion as a part of our physical education starting elementary school. Nothing prepares you for the stresses of life including enrolling into a university. So many of us lose eyesight from a combination of stress and bad reading habits during that period of our life.
Started doing cold showers a month ago inspired by Andrew Huberman's podcast and then I started watching Wim's videos and now I'm trying to figure out how to do cold immersion instead. I got used to cold showers already and it's winter.
I like how all the guys in the 10 minutes were screaming while the girl was just all composed
@إذا رأيتموني فعلمو ان المحتوى+18 I reread, I think either you had a stroke typing out your response or youre not mentally apt to comprehend sentences
In my message theres quit literally nowhere where I stated what youre implying I got wrong
@P R I M E Read carefully
@إذا رأيتموني فعلمو ان المحتوى+18 what are you even talking about
@P R I M E Wrong she actually love that old man and she believes that he can save her from frost bites so she's totally fine around him
She had met the guy before so she has experience
Guy: My hands feel like they're shivering..
Wim: Let it go, you are thinking!
Best anti-anxiety advice I've ever heard!
@agressapenguin not so
@steft horman how does an imaginary thing have real symptoms? anxiety is both a feeling and a disorder, the disorder being an overabundance of the feeling that is consistently reached due to seemingly unworthy reasons. That can be caused be a real chemical imbalance in the brain, this is proven. long standing trauma as well can cause anxiety without any thoughts leading to it, just a reaction to something. With how many people suffer and have serious symptoms from this, as well as the amount of research that has gone into it, its unlikely something that can be gotten over easily, and to deny the existence of it by calling it "not real" is simply foolish.
@agressapenguin no it doesn't exist, the physical symptoms comes from the mindset, it's like how placebo helps alot of people, just because it has an symtom, doesn't mean it's real.
he meant to stop thinking let go of your thoughts survive and breath with no thoughts sort of like yoga
That was so dope. You guys and girls are bad ass and brave.
Okay, by far this has got to be my favorite Clip-Share video!! It's INSANE what you all went through! And hats off to the female who joined you all!! I've always known the power of the mind. but this takes it to a whole new level!! There's also the human spirit and the will to survive! I think those 3 elements (mind, body, spirit) truly can elevate one's consciousness beyond petty day-to-day things and allow us to keep moving forward in life and keep pressing on. Thank you Yes Theory team for sharing! This video should win some sort of short film award for best inspirational video EVER!!!
This was so incredibly inspiring. Thank you guys❤
I’m convinced Wim is going to live forever
The girl in this video is badass. Didn’t hear her complain at all and she got through everything with ease.
@Aika Exactly, the did well but couldnt contribute much to the team work,, while ammar hade the spirit and power to bring them together.
@ESC KeS Just say how she did, without dragging down other ppl's achievments.
@a grill You can make a compliment without lowering other ppl's performance.
@Diana B also this why is giving birth suddenly a moment of the most pain a human can possibly endure, Id reckon it's not. There are other things more painful then to give birth which can be experienced by men as well.
i watch this video every so often! you guys give me the power to keep moving forward! thank you guys for all you do !
Incredible beyond incredible beyond incredible….I’m really proud and in awe of you guys. It’s true what he says, we need more role models like this in the world. You walk the show…🙏🌟
This was epic. You all are awesome. Well done. I love this guy Wim. I love his energy.
I am so proud of you all. :D
Best doc out there! Whenever I’m in the wrong head space….don’t want to do the practice…this helps to set me right! And never ceases to give me inspiration! Love yallz!
Wim made into science books and still is a mystery in them because of what his experience represents im regards to human history. He is a mere example who choose to be exactly that, firstly for himself and beyond his initial grasp, for all humans and for the heritagr shared by all of us. Wim Hof is a unique human being and may he be blessed for his soul and his calm heart.
I'm just astonished about Ammar's mindset, it seems this was like a walk in the park for him... Wow, bravo!
Jesus Christ died for your sssinnnsss
Some people grow up with parents that feed this kind of powerful mindset, others like Thomas have fearmongers for parents, notice how he mentions that "my mom will kill me". It isn't easy to break such a deep rooted idea planted by the very person who planted you on this earth. So props to Thomas for going through it anyways despite his fear, that is really powerful.
@akram yp But it does mean he’ll feel it less. It’s a fact that more body fat means you feel less cold than people with less body fat.
@hazel r Truly agree with you. I can say he is my favourite!
this is super late but i think ammar is so underrated!!! in everything they do, he is 120% in it!!!
i came upon this channel by accident. it was in my Clip-Share recommend videos and i don't regret it. i have watched a couple of your videos and i love the vibe and comradery. i hope to see more videos with this kind of style and i wish good luck to all of those apart of the new videos to follow lol.
This is awesome. Right now I’m working hard to heal a lot of trauma, like many are. My childhood was dense, young adult years the same. My husband passed on during my pregnancy and I have our incredible infant son to look after. I commit my time to him and try to do my healing in ways that suite motherhood but I think taking a trip to do something like this and to study under someone would greatly aid me. May that manifest.
The "belly chest" thing he was talking about is legit for holding your breath. I'd like to preface this with saying I vape. I can't swim for more than two minutes without being out of breath. Yet, my personal record for holding my breath is just over three minutes and twenty seconds. I didn't use this strategy to achieve this personal record, but having done two minutes and twenty seconds with this strategy (I stopped not because I had to, but because I did not want to go for more), I can definitely see how "belly chest heart" can absolutely lead one to go over three minutes without breathing.
Again, I treat my lunges terribly on a daily basis. If I can do it, anyone can.
This is literally beautiful, what humans can do together as a group. Wonderful documentary !!
Jesus Christ died for your sssinnnsss
Wim Hof is a true hero. We also tried this and its very intense. But with the help of Wim Hof we can do this :)
full credit to the camera man at the start filming in the water while the others swam right out, who tf is this guy and why dont we see him get some credit? press w to pay respect for this man
W
9:47 It looks like Ammar but I could be wrong.
9:46 it was ammar. respect to ammar
Where? What part?
It was Ammar
Everyone yelling like crazy when they jump in the water & the cameraman is just chilling in there😁🤣
Looks like an adventure i could only dream of! Amazing!
This is by far the best episode!
I was researching Wim Hof and found this Channel and I've been glued to it for the last week it's amazing and I love everything you guys are doing God bless I wish one day I could do something like this, God bless guys
Just goes to show, scientists arnt honest with us. Thank you for doing this 💚
Hands down probably one of the best and most inspiring videos by Yes Theory. You guys are an inspiration to everyone in this world and I hope you guys never stop spreading the message of seeking discomfort in our own lives!
The breathing session was so magical that I wanna experience them myself
Imagine your just going for your daily hike, and you see these guys sitting in the river, in a circle, screaming.
You guys are so brave oh my god only watching it and it made me wrap myself in my blanket like a burrito ! I wish i was so strong minded and determined like you
That speech at the end was the most powerful beautiful thing I’ve ever heard 💫 thank you for proving to everyone that WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
Incredible, thank you for sharing this amazing experience
while all the guys are screaming like vikings to fight the cold , the girl is just vibing
@John Ames I know. But I really like that one. It reminds me of like... That shaka taunt the rugby players do
@Tyler Fleming it's just hippie nonsense, you can make any noise to help focus your mind, can do buddist ummmmmmmm's if you like. The sound is not the point, it's putting your mind in the right mental state.
I want to know what the little 'ah uhmm ta ah ah' taunt they do is called in the water around the 25 minute mark
@Yumeko Jabami I thought there were no differences between the genders
yeah definitely didnt hear her scream
Thank you for this treasure.
It inspires more "uncomfortable" action in me... In having that difficult talk or pushing through that uncomfortable moment. Just when I thought humanity has reached its breaking point, I am made aware that there are humans that are still "doing" in order to inspire!
Baie dankie 🙏
I cried in joy multiple times. This man is amazing..
Wim should be teaching in the Military as part of Survival Training in the ICE 🧊 and with his mind power training, he can utilize it in all of the Survival training. Just my thoughts.
You guys should interview #NickVujicic - his story is the most inspirational one I’ve ever seen. I think #yestheory would learn so much from him and his journey 🙌
Wish I could meet this man… feel like he would change my life and bring my potential to the forefront .
Am I the only one who loved Amar in this? He was wearing the least amount of clothes than everyone else throughout this journey. Gotta love his enthusiasm.
Egyptians are normally very strong... ever been to egypt?
@Joel Badger You misunderstood my message to them. I asked for proof, I declared nothing as true or false. Since you know so much, could you point me to any relevant reliable sources?
Gelato The Great You're truly ignorant if you think this is a "mind" thing and that 50lbs of fat and muscle means little for heat stability and retention. This is a thoroughly studied medical fact.
Dylan C Good Lord that was ignorant. The primary purpose of fat is heat retention.
@Joel Badger Umm no, Thomas failed on the second thing they did. The entire point is to let your mind think about nothing and then you will not feel pain or any cold. He admitted afterwards that he was scared his hands were falling off the whole time and shit like that. That's the opposite of what you're supposed to do and that's why he had the worst reaction to it. I thought that was fairly clear.
He basically used them as guinea pigs LOL so cute, well done Team.
Wow, my biggest respect🙏 great video work. Unbelievable mental strenght👍
Thomas never committed. Kept more of his body out of the water than anyone else - sprinted away. It all began with his anxiety and overthinking day 1. Amazing to see.
Did anyone else notice how quiet the girl was compared to the guys when they were taking their first unprepared dip in the freezing water? I'm in love with that girl. How awesome it would be to have an adventurous partner like that! But don't mean to take any credit away from the guys. They were all amazing to take up the challenge.
I have been doing similar experiments with my body myself. I have recovered from serious illnesses without any medicine by merely relying on my will power, lots of fresh air, good food and exercise. This I've done even when I was almost delirious with high fever. Recent Covid 19 pandemic gave me another opportunity to experiment. Didn't care to get vaccinated, got infected with 2 variants of the virus, but recovered with very little difficulty. Our body certainly has more potential and resilience than what doctors would have us believe. (Why do l fall sick despite a possessing a robust constitution? It's because I wilfully expose myself to infections, to insect bites, like mosquitoes, ticks, bees, etc... that's how I get sick. The most reckless and stupid thing I've done is to get bitten by a nonpoisonous snake, without being completely sure that it was not poisonous. I don't go out looking to get stung or bitten, but I do my meditation practice wearing bare minimum clothing, sitting in forested areas, and don't move a muscle even if I'm bitten by insects or my balls are frozen stiff, until the process is complete).
She's amazing 🙂👍
12:52 "We are built, to be happy, strong and healthy" 👍💯 Love this!
