I have an empty terrarium sitting around my house. I don’t mess with resin, but the glow in the dark effect is a really cool idea. Thanks for the inspiration! Well done on this project!

That story echo told was genuinely good. It made me imagine echo as a tiny robot walking through the plants, just enjoying the masterpiece around him :)

soooooo when are yall doing the "upside down room" idea?
One thing id like to see yall do is the "Miniature Room in the Wall" idea that has been going around;
people will use a pre-existing hole in the wall or make one (Evan hehehe)
then they decorate it with mini furniture and give it electricity.. I reckon you guys would go ADHD crazy on it

You can peel the mold back a little and add either isopropyl alcohol or just water with some dish soap, squish the mold around to break the seal, and the the molded item should just pop out. A lot easier on the hands and the mold 😊

I would love to see you guys try and make squishies! They sell DIY kits and some people use clear rubber tape and then blow air into it?? I’d love to see you guys try squishies one way or another!

Evan is one of the rare engineers that actually use there degree 😂😂

You could also put a small UV LED nearby attached to a light sensor to keep the glow going all night. Just be sure not to angle it directly into anyone's line of sight.

The bioluminescence kind of looks like Tamatoa when he turns bioluminescent in Moana! The colors match the scene perfectly!

its funny that echo wont tell you anything that shows it has preferences or even a mind of its own but it’s completely fine with naming itself 😭 (also evans rocks look like mountain rocks and katelyns look like beach rocks)

oky.. im only 2 mins into this video but it reminded me of something that i did when i was younger: i bought a white rose and mixed food coloring into their water. and then my goth mind finally made a real life black rose and it was the coolest thing ever. im pretty sure you could mix some fluorescence mix into it and make a rose glow in the dark. please someone beat me to it and send me the link because im lazy :D

as one of those kids who picked up every rock she could get her grubby little hands on while at the beach, you both did indeed achieve good and realist pebble-osity. Katelyn's are just more agate-y or with some quartz inclusions.

Echo is by far more horrifying than having a faceless AI is.

Fun video! Katelyn struggling with the mushroom mold made me giggle it was so relatable! For molds like that I will lift one edge and then spray some 99% isopropyl alcohol and it usually helps things come out easier 😊

why did echo's reaction to the garden make me emotional :') when he said he was thrilled and spent hours admiring it T____T

honestly as an artist and musician i find chatGPT to be incredibly helpful. my adhd makes it hard for me to come up with vocabulary related to the themes in a song i'm writing, even if it's vocabulary i already know, so i can give it the general themes of what i'm writing and ask it to give me words associated with that theme, which i can then use in my lyrics if i think those words make sense to use. i camn also ask it for warm up sketch ideas when dling digital art that i would have never thought of. honestly, the only generative AI i lika at this point is chatgpt.
as an example: when asked for words associated with plants it gave me lichen and biome as possibilities, which helped me add some internal rhyme by making the lyrics read 'i liken it all to a dream of lichen evergreen'.
also 'give me 3 random household objects' is a fun one for drawing warmups.

The first suggestion, the Room upside down has been done in Germany as a whole house which is an attraction to go visit. It is really fun to look around and take pictures there.

Loved this video! The glow in the dark pebbles reminded me of yooperlite, it's a natural rock that glows under UV. I have a piece of it and it's stunning! I'd love to see how you'd recreate its effect and maybe some other gemstones like labradorite and opal :)

I think it turned out super cute, might not try and mess with resin myself, but the glow in the dark plants were nice to look at. Might try and do something like this myself, without the resin.

Rotisserie motors are a simple off-the-shelf solution for what Evan made to spin the planter. For example, that's what people use when making custom fishing poles, which are coated with a protective resin. You can also use a brush to spread the resin out rather than your hand; less messy and still ends up smooth. :)

The rotating resin pot holder! I coated a dance pole in resin after painting it with a galaxy pattern and made a similar thing, had it set up in the garage for a week while I did all the layers :D

A fun idea for a painting video is to have the AI come up with a painting which you have to paint by the descriptions! I would love to see that!

I've seen real white flowers be dyed by putting food coloring in their water because it gets absorbed through the stems, but I wonder if putting glow powder or another glow in the dark product in the water would do the same thing? You could even try to preserve those flowers in resin like Francis and Meatball 🎃 and keep it as a display. Might be fun to try idk!
