So excited to see how this plays out. Drummer and Naomi both blame themselves to a degree for Marco’s actions, and you can see a parallel in how they make hard choices in every season and try to deal with those consequences. It’s very meaty! They are my two favorite characters in the whole show!
Cara Gee earned an Emmy nomination with this episode.
Drummer is totally the star this season. Cara is killing the role, her speech last week gave me goosebumps. 😱🤗

I don't like saying I have a favorite character because everyone has their amazing moments like amos 'I'm that guy', Avasarala, Holden, Naomi, Alex, Bobbie, Ashford😭 it's impossible.

Drummer has always been in love with Naomi which Naomi knows and tries not to take advantage of because she knows that Drummer knows that it is unrequited.

I have just really come to love and appreciate Camina Drummer, love the whole story arc there, I'm going to miss the Expanse so much when it's over 💔
The Expanse is the best Sci-Fi of all time because of the realism of the show. Highlighting all human issues, but most importantly the greed of humanity. The creators and writers not trying to be politically correct and ticking boxes for the sake of it. Certainly the most diverse cast on TV but each character has a purpose no matter how big or small their role is.
The Expanse is also one of a very thew shows in which the women aren't made to be sexual, unrealistically strong all powerful characters to make an impact. Real women characters is rare to see on TV nowadays.
The Expanse show is unique and irreplaceable; sad that producers and channels don't see it yet.

"Some more than others." She's right. Drummer's lost her entire family, Fred Johnson, and Ashford. Billions of Earthers are dead. Mars is fractured. The entire crew has lost Alex; Clarissa has lost her father and family, Amos lost his mother-figure, Avasarala lost her husband; Holden still has things pretty good. Naomi? She lost the chance to have a relationship with a son that she never had a relationship with to begin with. Not much of a comparison to Drummer's loss.
@Aeriel Ferguson Well, just another curve in Drummer's tragic story, this is one she tries to get around and move on from many times. I think overall in the series, compared to Jim/Naomi/Amos/Alex, Drummer's is the most frustrating and painful, strewn with loss, physical pain, and completely broken her by the end :/ Naomi is a close second to me. Holden is just favored and the golden child, even though he does goody Paladin self sacrificing stuff.

Naomi doesnt care for Drummer as much as Drummer cares for Naomi.....and if you watch at Naomi's actions carefully most of her major decisions she was only thinking about her feelings.....she gave the protomolecule to Fred behind everyone's back n didnt tell Holden until she got herself in problems, then she tried to sneak off the station to go back to the crew and then when Drummer caught her she made up some excuse then she made plans to go reach Filip and told Holden only when she was leaving smh
@Belinda🍃 she never used her, Drummer said so herself, it was her choice. Naomi was literally on the chetzmoka when Drummer decided to go against her own crew and save the rocinante. Don't put this on Naomi when all she's done is care for Holden and her crew. PLUS if it wasn't for Naomi Drummer would be dead, remember 3x13 honey!!!

I could be reading into things, but it really sounds like Naomi is trying to speak with a heavy belter accent like drummer, but it doesn't come as naturally anymore because she's been hanging out with humans for so long. I love attention to detail like that.
Def on purpose. Dominique is showing Naomi's natural code switching. It's an instinctual thing when you live with mixed cultures. Naomi also spoke with a much heavier accent in S3b when she'd been on the Behemoth for a long time.
