Hi
YESSIR an incredible video as always
Yeah
yes
Hi
I didn't stand a chance building against this insane robot!! you truly made every domino builder's dream come true :D I'm so impressed! also I love the idea to knock it down with the turtle shell and rolling mario pipes! thanks for having me be a part of this project, so happy we finally got to collab!
I have a feeling this comment will get hearted/pinned
THE DOMINO QUEEN HAS ENTER THE CHAT!
Awesome job in this vid!!
Lmao get rekted
Unlikely Collab
I love how mark spent 5 years building a domino robot yet he can't do something as simple as whistling
🤣
yeah
I can't whistle
whistling is hard not easy i have tried
I think building a domino robot is slightly harder
So darn cool from an engineering standpoint. The time and dedication to fabricate and program is just too darn awesome. Excellent work to all those involved!
Yeah I know
I feel like this is pretty easy
@Charles Hetterich you felt wrong sorry.
@Charles Hetterich bro
This is not only a robot for hobby, but a real money making golden goose.😆
The follow up should be not only a clean up robot, but also one that sorts the pieces by color. I believe it will be much easier to design and make than the Dominator.
I kinda of did something like this as a final project for my robotics class in high school, we had to make a robot that would sort out foam balls by color.
Didn't their mechanical arm already sort pieces by color? The domino loading looked fully automated.
@Illusion of Quality They were loaded autonomously but were fed into the loader pre sorted
You dont have to be a nerd to appreciate all the engineering and development that went into this great project. Thanks for the fun.
Mark can probably make a robot that makes Mark Rober Videos Better Than Mark Rober
Lol 😂😂
GEORGE FLOYD
@poopoogamer123 what
I am confused
Your mom
Mark and his team really show us that anything is possible! Great job guys!
With enough money, just about anything is possible. As a programmer and someone who does a lot of electronics, this project cost a fortune based on all of the components displayed.
mark: *builds a super complex machine*
also mark: *builds a piano that is so advanced that it managed to play rush e with ease*
Also also mark: *sent an actual egg to space and it never cracking*
Amazing! More tech companies should consider attracting young engineers with the chance to realize / contribute to a project like this.
oooooopq. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😅😂

@skeet H
Your builds and inventions have legitimately made me want to do this when I’m older, thank you for existing you make great videos and I want to be like you
No need to wait Elliot, start off small! I can't imagine how many small projects lead up to mark doing this one.
I’m not sure why it makes me so happy to see robots crushing humans. I think something’s wrong with me... (AWESOME build!)
Dont tell me your going to be on the side of the robots when they take over...
You are not alone 😂
Tell the robots to spare me when they arrive
ok
I agree i love mark's vids and yours
Your projects just keep getting more insanely cool!
Keep up the great engineering Mark!
👍👍👍
I look forward to seeing the next project!!
I love how much fun you have, how creative you are and how you are able to explain scientific principles clearly!
It’s incredible that the weight of 300 dominoes being dropped at once didn’t cause any vibration or disturb the air enough to dislodge even 1 domino, I know it was very low to the ground but having just spent hours sitting up dominoes with my kids, albeit quite small dominoes, so many things can go wrong.
I love that the whole of this incredible engineering project depends on a single zip-tie connecting the release plate to the servo! ;-)
and seeing zip-ties snap in the past.. - I was afraid this whole video could have ended-up in dissaster LOL
I’m creasing over the counterweight in the back. Two barbell plates on zip ties
Rumour has it that 12 months later Mark is still sorting them out into separate colours 🤣🤣🤣
Mark's high-pitched reactions at 13:15 are awesome. Years of work paying off!
GEORGE FLOYD
wassupo
He looks like a kid on Christmas morning at 13:27
Imagine being 4th comment...
I like 14:18 and reach for 100k ;-)
Did you consider setting the dominoes so that you would just flick over one and the line of falling dominoes would snake its way through all of them? It would've taken longer, but a time-lapse would've been so cool!
Naaa imagine it gets triggered by accident and the set up would much more delicate
I think the system can't do curves.
every video I watch on this channel I get very inspired. Keep it up, Mark!
Every video wows me Mark Rober, well done all of you! ❤
This is crazy mark, keep up the great work!
Love your genuine excitement when they started to topple over!
5:05 The Dominator's tail is the most important engineering aspect
check mark 👌

The "Dom" is king.
Found ya
With the patience that it takes to make domino art, mark was confident that hevesh would enjoy his jokes and playful rivalry.
I'm sure they discussed that beforehand.
Mark: spends 5 years making a precise, carefully crafted master of dominoes.
Also mark: hotweelz
This makes me realize that technology is evolving faster than I was expected to be for sure.
Is there any scope to improve the efficiency of the loading arm? Also Dom's speed in transit? Then what about packing up the lot? 🙂
That’s an incredibly interesting design, do you think you would be able to edit the robot so you only have to start the whole sequence from kicking over one domino instead a pipe knocking over many?
As amazing the robot is, it is indeed questionable if it actually counts as proper domino laying, since it can't do a connected domino track.
D- did Mark just post 2 videos in one month?
UwU
Yes. Yes he did.
I think he did..
its true. we all died
Teah
amazing engineering build and great that you brought on college engineering students to assist. What an awesome project.
just the fact that he puts this much effort into this is mindblowing
It honestly would’ve looked more dope if when the dominions fell on the box it threw out a mushroom from it. It still was 10/10 fantastic I loved it. Congratulations
Mark: is an engineering genius
Also Mark: plays pool wrong
Lily: “I’ve already failed”
Mark: “That’s Great”
🤣
Who remembers when MrBeast was going to set the record for the longest domino chain, then stopped because it was going to be a boring video? I guess he should've just done it with robots! 😄
First
I remember that, I wish he uploaded all his failed videos on a second channel :(
Oh lol tru
I remember
@Spizzz same
I thought Hevesh5 was the fasted domino builder but this robot is insane! 🤯
I don't know why this reminded me of diamond painting lol. Great job Hevesh5 and Mark!
This is the best robot I’ve ever seen congrats and be happy mark you got a domino helper
The way Mark’s voice rose like a little kid when they were being knocked down was so nice to hear -and a but funny. It’s nice to see all of your hard work come together.
I wanted to see more about the loader and pattern building. Pixel art part is more interesting to me than just offloading the dominos.
Fantastic job, Mark. 👍
first before bots
🤫
GEORGE FLOYD
Crack
Yep
For me personally, I would enjoy it more if you went more into the explanation of how it works and your thought and design process of the robot
Mark sitting on a lawn chair reading news paper and mocking humans is me every Monday
I got chills when the dominoes were falling!!! This was great!!!
Lol, the way Mark was so proud that he automated this task so far beyond what humans are capable of performing, is why engineers really would build Skynet if they could.
Imagine Mark creating a software bot that automatically edits footage together.
..3D Printer saved the day 😁
This project is impressive! Well done Mark!
Wassup checkmark how ya doin
hi nike employee
Hey you're that 3d printing guy
E
yo verified like attractor
It is possible to have multiple layers stacked at same time, seperated by similar mechanism of drop, so that instead of 300, it can drop 600 or even 1000 in a single run.
This guy needs a museum with all his creations
Mark can create all these amazing things that take years and months to make but can’t find the time to figure out how to whistle.
Its not a mistake ✨ ITS A MASTERPEICE✨
I love how mark is so happy at the end when it worked :)
Next episode: Building a robot that cleans up and organizes 100k dominos.
With slides and camera recognition with moving sort arms this would work.
Simple color sensor should do the trick. No need for fancy cameras
Next episode: Dom slaughters 70 humans
*Brings back the rumba*
Brushes herd dominoes toward a conveyor belt. Conveyor belt buckets dominoes into a hopper. Opening at the bottom of the hopper drops dominoes in front of a colour sensor. Sensor informs a carriage to move to one of N positions, where N is the number of expected different colours. Trap door opens to drop domino into appropriate hopper.
You do some very impressive stuff!!
This guy is definitely going to rule over the world
This is amazing! Great work
This gives me so much nostalgia to Domino Day back in the day, maybe they can bring it back with this robot.
10:45 I love how the robot placing dominos is in beat with the music
In a robot apocalypse,Mark is going to be chilling with the robots for letting them be in his videos!
impressive work and ingenuity at the service of a useless objective, it's what engineering was always supposed to be :D
Just imagine how many dominoes Lily could have set up in the time it took you to develop, program and build both the robot and the feeding system.
But once its there, its gonna take no time at all to catch up.
Well it took him what? 5 years? So i thinksl she will be fine
Or imagine how many Dom could set up by the time Lily grew and became who she is. I think Don wins😆
It would be better for her to be with a boyfriend in these years
And Lily can do stuff like walls, spirals, and bridges
I love your enthusiasm Mark!! ❤
It’s amazing what programming and years of coding could do
its the DOGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@Braylon Crawford ... Ok
And engineering my guy
@Griff Yeah, and engineering too.
From a programmers perspective. This is utterly mind blowing and that was a lot of lines of code.
I LOVE the counter weights on the back of the dominator. They’re actual weights, bungee bound to the back. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best ones.
this is epic 😊♥️ that robot rocks!!! and so do the people who made/programmed it 😊 Zoey and I LOVE your videos!!!! We do our best to spread positivity like wildfire and just wanted to say thank you for making your content and love that y'all spread positivity too ✌️♥️✊
What's next, an automatic hedge trimmer. Would love to see a build like this
This would take 7 domino people a week.... Let's spend 5 years to make that faster 🥳 now that's what Clip-Share is all about.

That is how technology works.
"Five years in the making..." I think Lilly has a head start. How many dominos did Lilly lay in five years? Dominator has some catching up to do.
Mark: knows how to do all this crazy tech stuff
also Mark: doesnt know how to whistle
So…what happens to the dominos now? Are they stacked up in boxes in your garage?? 😂 Awesome video Mark!
Love your enthusiasm and love your videos!
Dudes like him mean we really don't have any problems as a species or a planet we just have to equip & trust fellas like him to do something about it
Things are becoming so easy. 100K dominoes in 24hrs only is insane.
So easy you just need coding and Engineering and five years a team .
Yeah. It’s not easy it’s rewarding to those who work very hard
Yeh
@Kink Panther and the domino’s
ok
Technically the speed of the robot is limited by the speed of the robotic arm, so a human can technically compete as long as they don't make mistakes and keep a rather fast pace
Mark: I don’t actually know how to whistle.
The future video: A Robot That Makes You Whistle
You can hear in voice he's genuinely happy and excited about the results ☺️
Wow, these tiles were making some considerable noise! 😮
What you should do is make the robot hold more so you don’t have to take as many trips.
Imagine the feeling of dread when you spend 12 years perfecting a craft and then watch a robot doing your craft a million times faster
The robots weren't satisfied with our jobs, they want our hobbies too.
So calculating
@TheNox THE ROBOT INVASION IS STARTING (joke)
An otherwise useless robot that took 3 years to make
Get use to it.
I'd like to see this robot building a computer made of dominos.
I think the time it took to engineer, write, and design the dominator should be factored into how long it took to "setup 100k dominoes".
I love how it has weights on the back to compensate for the weight of the domino and the tray.
This is fantastic!
It is honestly pretty impressive how many dominoes lily put with mark as a distraction. Props to her.
@LensonGamingYT OK I subscriebed
@snine it’s a bot my g
So cool from an engineering stand point and absolutely no other…., and world peace!
There are no words on God's green Earth to describe how much I love when visuals/audio from a Clip-Share video are edited to be in time with the music backing track. Just like at 7:40 Perfection.
I saw this 2 days after
I wish I could have a robot like this
All of that hard work and thinking really pays off
I bet that was a lot of trial and error, but Dom looks awesome.
Also I'm loving the dog thing
Watching the dominos falling is always the best & last part of setting up dominos 13:00
Seeing Lily's creations AFTER this video makes them even more impressive!
I agree!!
Agreed
I am here before this is become famous
Hello, verified youtuber. How can I help you?
5
I love how lily is trying so hard and mark is well being mark
This is what too much time on your hands and a boat load of money gets you. Mark, you took the fun out of domino falling.
That was really impressive!
If you imagine that every second your monitor das roughly the same...that is insane
i mean every 60th of a second.
14:00 For efficiency purpose, what you really need is a robot to pickup the pieces and sort them back by color ;-)
There's something so odd about one of the most creative, brilliant, innovative dudes I've ever seen who can apparently do ANYTHING he sets his mind to ...... except whistle
You still play D2 smh
d2 is dead lol
Funny finding you here fallout
Mark is gonna take over the world with his robots lol
Its funny how mark is just having fun while hevesh was suffering trying to build dominos while the dominator is doing the work for him.
