@JOE Philly played according to their strengths ... their long ball tactics worked, as LA was superior in midfield - so they bypassed it.
Long ball does NOT mean "unskillful punters" at this level ... at my level of football, maybe: "if in doubt, boot it out!"
But Philly aren't a pub team - that strategy was deliberate, and so nearly worked - it forced the sending-off for starters! A long ball caused LA's keeper to make a catastrophic error and mistime a 50-50 hospital ball.
Can’t believe y’all cut the celebration short on tv. Idc if it was the World Series, I been waiting years for this moment. I hope you plan to release footage of the rest of the celebration and post game interviews.

Glad LAFC won, specially for Vela, as he refused to go to the world cup to focus on winning a championship with LAFC. But respect to Philadelphia Uion as they almost won this playing against the Los Angeles fans giving it their all & creating one of the best finals ever.
He didn't refuse. He didn't go because he put the condition to have Javier go as well to the world cup. He has his back.
The only time LA fans and Philadelphia fans booed together was whenever they showed Don Garber lol

I just hate this American sport thing of when the owner gets handed the trophy before the players. He didn’t take any penalties so why he holding the trophy first
The National Hockey League's Stanley Cup is "just that one", and the NHL does not make a new cup for each year's winning owner, so you see the league commissioner presenting it to the captain instead of the owner.
Likely MLS is LEGALLY required to present the cup to the owner. While there is a new MLS Cup made for each year's champion, the trophy LEGALLY belongs to the owner (that person) instead of the club, so the commissioner is LEGALLY required to present it the the owner.
