Solution for the rear “clunk”: Halfshafts - Lubricate at Hubs LH/RH. Easy fix and for those who are out of warranty it will cost you around £100 at a Tesla service center. Had mine fixed last week here in the Netherlands.
The key fob not popping out the handles is a bug that you can probably get fixed, and frankly I don’t really notice when it’s turning on if I’ve walked away and back quickly since the process of turning on is so fast and seamless. As for the suspension rattle, YES 10000%, they all seem to have a rattle, but it’s usually the front suspension. This is the first case I’ve heard with the rear suspension.
I've got the MS90D (2017) and I also have a noise from the suspension, exactly as James states it sounds like a worn bush or a non-tight bolt in the suspension. Just last week I've also started to get a noise from the front suspension/wheels. When turning right around e.g. around a roundabout, there's a whoosh, whoosh type noise when the tyre rotates, as if something is rubbing on the tyre / suspension / calipers. It's going into the service centre next week to be looked at.
The clonk in your rear is unique to the ones with air suspension. It is indicative of a small error in the assembly ( a bushing, which can be replaced )
They've updated this system now, there is a setting I turned on in my TM3 that will auto turn off/on. if you get too far away it'll lock the car and roll the windows up. I think its pretty useful personally.
This is why I love James May. He talks about things like poor font choice on a car where there’s text. Everyone else talks about the more obvious things like rims...
I don't think they tuned the suspension at the Nurburgring, so that's a plus for May!
You know someone's a gentleman when they care about the noise their neighbours can hear.
This is like a dream come true for James. He can rant about something he doesn't like WITHOUT interruption.
One thing I don't like about any Tesla is that I can't afford one
Tell me I wasn’t the only one who worried James left the imaginary gate open...
Who else would watch James, in painstaking detail, go over the 2,837 things he loves about his car?
finally , a you-tuber reviewing his Tesla without having detailed & blinged it up first ... James May keeping it real man
Hey James. I work for Tesla and I can help!
If you turn on “passive entry” in the safety and security tab you don’t have to double press the key when turning it on 😁
James may is so likeable. He is like a rockstar of the car scene and top gear
the moment when you can easily afford a Tesla and several other cars, but having an automatic garden fence door is beyond you
I absolutely love James May's expectation of common sense.
James May - reliably likeable even when having a moan.

Really clever review, pointing out minuscule bad things which only serves to make me want a Tesla even more!
