@Adarsh V S Plz don't misunderstand me... I too am a huge fan of ARR. But I don't check Clip-Share trending, etc. I didn't know about "Ratchasa Maamane" or "Sol" trending until you told me about it. But I'm very happy that they're trending.
However, I didn't like "Ratchasa Maamane" as much as "Alaikadal" or "Sol". "Ratchasa Mamane" sounds something like "Keda Kari" from _Ravanan_ or "Sarattu Vandiyile" from _Kaatru Veliyidai._ "Ratchasa Maamane" is indeed a good song, but it doesn't give us the 90s vibes, and is not suitable for a historical fiction film.
It's "Alaikadal" and "Sol" which gives us the 90s vibes and are also suited for the historical atmosphere. That's why they're the best songs in PS-1.
"Alaikadal" reminds me of "Eechi Elumichi" from _Taj Mahal,_ and "Sol" reminds me of "Adi Manja Kizhange" from _Taj Mahal._ They remind me of the good old days when ARR used to have an awesome and matchless chemistry with Bharathiraja, the greatest filmmaker in Tamil cinema.
Unfortunately, one of the masterpieces is completely missing from the film and another is chopped off to the first stanza.
@Anirudh Iyengar ratchasa mamane is not just a simple dance song added bro... In the book there was mentioning of janmastami celebration... But each element of that song.... Choreography was top notch.... Colour..... Singers voice.... Pronounciation and acting of trisha and karthi... And vanathi... All elements was ✨sol and alaikadal are just out of world but ratchasa mamane is another level song... Totally this album was✨🙌
