Never thought I’d say this, but Phil is 100% correct.
Absolutely. Absurd that they weren’t all kicked out.
Phil planted these guys. He LOVES the attention.
@Michael B I never seen him insulting language just complaining about a bad draw. He literally just voicing his frustration and ppl act like hes the devil. Liv said she was honored first time she got his rant lol.
Yeah he’s right about that roast beef
Phil is completely in the right on this, that type of conduct shouldn't be tolerated, especially at a final table with a bracelet on the line.
Honey. He said it shouldn’t be tolerated honey. Can you believe this guy?
With a sandwich on the line
@Argumemnon they were only disrespecting phil... pls your reaching
@LoudPack There's a difference between the players jabbing at each other and the audience disrespecting the whole panel.
phil absolutely destroying that roast beef was hilarious
@Noel Lutsey Pulls the buns apart and goes straight for the roast beef 😉
Do you mean at 10:26?
His wife is a very lucky lady :p
@Tank Burns lol
They put drugs in the middle of the sandwiches Adderall or something.
As much as Phil overreacts, he’s right here. That’s unacceptable. The tournament directors ought to have enough respect for the players who ponied up the cash to enter this tourney to give them a reasonable environment to play out the final table.
I dont understand all the bullshit thats talked bout Phil Helmuth. He's number.1 WSOP bracelet holder? Even when he loses it he's talking about the pot/game not berating players, that's fine. He should be respected no matter what you think of him anyway he's earned it.
@Eggo and that has nothing to do with the situation in the video. The people shouting at him are apparently there to cheer for Jackson too so you can't say that he brought that on himself.
@Eggo That and he gets off on the drama. You can almost see him stroking it under the table.
@Chris Harris he gets targeted because he is a punk who talks a lot but the minute someone says anything of the same vibe he puts off he calls the floor on them. He is a hypocrite. Fans should keep their mouth shut but Phil honestly makes himself a target because he is so off the rails and not a level headed dude. He is very emotional and will dish alot of things out that he can’t take if someone does it back. He is a big….baby
@Chris Harris, Hellmuth has brought this problem all to himself. There is not a tournament, a cash game even a low stakes poker game, in his 35 yr career where he goes off on a player, a dealer even a floorman to let his frustration on. The guy is a great tournament player but he is Enlightened to the core and thinks everything revolves around him.
the announcers going nuts over the roast beef bite had me dying
The best part of this was Phil eating that sandwich. I’ve never seen such savagery, some one eat a sand which like that, and great commentary on the sandwich 😂
@Nick Collins me
@J F who taught her the trick?
That's the only way to do it, wife taught me that trick on our honeymoon.
Never a dull moment with Phil… but in this instance, he’s totally in the right.
@john doe he's a PLAYER not an audience member.
@RodJeez nah, there's many times he's the guy out of line and gets a pass just because he's got seniority. He'd straight up call the floor if someone treated him like he treats others.
@Winter Outside is a concept you don't understand
This is a professional game, the organizers need to have standards and discipline that crowd, and even other players if they’re being rude
I agree, no one deserves being heckled in the middle of a final table.
"He pulled the buns apart and went straight in..." priceless commentary 10:39
@jabre12 lol this should be top 3 comment.
@LinuxStuff I know what you mean...lol
Maybe bro is no keto diet
@S.U epic. KJo
Don’t forget 4:25
This was one of the most entertaining live streams I’ve ever seen. GREAT job Remko and Donnie on the calls too. You guys killed it.
Yea they sound like teenagers at their first event. Nice dig at Americans about a USA chant too. Their pumpkin spice latte order must have been wrong and hurt their feelings
They sound like high school kids at their first poker game.
I was happy I got to watch.
I know it's kinda funny to see him getting angry and all but in this situation I think he's totally right. Offending him and calling him "names" is uncalled for in my opinion.
Hecklers have no right to take away a player's focus at the final table. Should be an immediate ejection.
Definitely
worrrrd
@D X yeah right, idiot bully behavior is idiot bully behavior no matter the target.
I love the roast beef commentary. Just because Hellmuth likes to deep dive doesn't mean he should be berated. I bet his wife was like, yeah!
@Will C best part of the whole video right there 🥪
I'm so glad someone else appreciated their sandwich commentary as much as I did.
That guy who disturbed the game and the players should be kicked out, you cannot do that against players who are playing for such a big prize pool, that’s annoying and disgusting
@Kanders190 Yes it does matter. Your 0.2$ home games aren't near as important as a bracelet game. These events affect the rest of the life. Your home games won't.
not even a matter of big prize pool. simply a matter of fair play and sportsmanship
@Slyfox456 Said the interweb grammar police. - 11/08/2022
Nah its against phil so its alright
9:55 the fact that he stayed calm here... gained a little bit of respect from me
Even with the crazy mistakes that were made; this was such a fun few hours of live poker. Like legit entertaining.
We all know Phil is in the right here. But I loved the energy he brought after being picked on by those fools. Great tourney as well. GG both players. WP. 👏
One of the best final tables in a long time. We got it all, even a roast beef incident LOL
“Pulled the buns apart and went straight in on the roast beef.”
everything reminds me of her.
Should be top comment. Think i cracked a rib.
😂
Phil isn't wrong here at all. Pretty amateur of them to allow them to heckle like that.
@Dmkfactor that's not the point, all you have to do is read what people are saying to understand that
Phil brings this upon himself!
@bopskillah34 guess you'd be surprised at how not troll I'm being
@RossoCarne troll bait is obvious
I never thought I'd live to see the day when the mighty Phil helmuth went down on a roast beef sandwich but here we are.
The way he ate that sandwich is an insight into the violence going on in his head 🤬
Or how savage he is at eating kitties
Funniest comment
How amazing is it that Jackson got the one card he needed to win it all.
Neither had anything but Phil had the Ace high. Wow. Phill came back from 5mil. Kudos to both Gents
It's so hard for him to ignore anything, because he's the best in the world....in his head.
“This guy said Phil Helmuth is dressed like a spice girl” 😂😂😂
He’d know😂😂🤣🤣
That snapbite into the roast beef sandwich was pretty spectacular- one of Phil’s all time greatest poker moves. 10:26
Deserves a slow motion replay. Perfect technique.
He doesn’t want a carb crash..
I actually cried from laughing
that bite should be illegal . instant desqualification from the tournament
"he like pulled the buns apart and went straight in on the roast beef"
Never thought I'd see the day where Phil is completely correct. Floor and security should not have let this go on at all. These guys should have been ejected immediately. Disgusting behavior.
“He just pulled the buns apart and went straight in on the roast beef” been there brother 😂
Mad respect for Phil here. He played well
I'm on Phils side when he's abused at a final table, those people should have been ejected immediately and showed some respect to the game.
@S. G. he is a PLAYER, not an audience member, big difference
Phil never gets ejected immediately when he viciously attacks others.
Happy for David but tough for Phil. I really want to see him get to 20! He puts his entire self, many times too much LOL, into the game!
I love watching Phil rage but this time hes actually right. Those spectators need to just stfu.
Its funny how Phil doesn't like the verrbal abuse from the rail but has no problem verbally abusing players himself while at the table
Key word: at the table. Being in the game is different. Nobody needs peanut gallery bullshit.
you got to love Phil Helmuth, the guy is been there since forever, whatever you think of this guy he is living the dream
"pulled the buns apart and went straight in on the roast beef" is an all time call from any commentator from any event 🤣... sometimes I do that too Phil 🤣
P.Hellmuth's results show how great he is. One of the greatest live tournament players of all time.
Phil is a great Poker Player, we just want to watch him play Poker and also get to watch all his antics. That is entertainment.
To think that spectators can heckle a player at the final table is mind boggling.
They should have been tossed. No warnings, no apologies, just bye-bye.
@OGRE !!!! Golf, tennis, snooker, darts.... ther are many sports where you have to be quiet and let the players concentrate. 💁♂️
@OGRE !!!! I've seen people tossed out at football events, UFC events, all of it. It's one thing to root against the other team/person but completely different when you become derogatory to the point of actually bothering the competitors. We see NBA players get courtside fans tossed out all the time.
@juan lee i mean real sports
@OGRE !!!! test
@OGRE !!!! there are tons of sports where this is not allowed, to think of few- tennis, chess, golf.. etc...
he ate the soul out of the sandwich, straight for the heart.
For once in my life, I think I may actually side with Phil. Trash talk amonst the people at the table is fine and usually expected. To be heckled from some schmuck in the crowd? No. Not only is Phil impacted, but the whole table is.
crazy that phil has to battle his opponents and also the crowd.
The bite into the middle of the roast beef killed me 🤣
Their reactions to the sandwich is hilarious
Embarrassing not to remove the hecklers at a final table.
@Steve Hornea that's not censorship you dolt
@Nick Gore I’m gonna guess you subscribe to StormFront. You know, for the cartoons.
It’s almost a certainty it started out as someone just mentioning Phils a Bch in passing to a friend hence the reason for no audio of anyone saying it.
But aren’t you happy that they’re making up for the horrors of slavery? Equity in action!
Impressive run by Jackson. Classy and chill when he won, too. Props to that dude & another crazy run by Hellmuth.
Phil played great and @PokerGO was awesome to do the livestream! It was awesome!
Hahaha, they way they freaked out and commented on how he ate his sandwich 😂😂
I've never wanted Phil to win so bad.. or at all!
Phil is easily my favorite Poker Player to watch!
🤡
They should remove the hecklers. This is so stupid at a final table.
Seriously. Hate on Phil all you want but that's unbelievably outta line. Not sure it's the tournament director's job to remove them, but they could at least call security
Agreed it’s trashy af
Nice alias mr hellmuth
Phil is a performance artist. People forget that.
Phil is a great entertainer in the scene.
We need someone like him.
🤡
Really sad for Phil. He is the best.
Even in a local poker game with friends, we dont heckle each other, it's just that unwritten rule, plus it's about respecting the players in a high stakes scenario.
Phil knew exactly what he was doing with that roast beef sandwich
Enough with the roast beef sandwich ,Phil is playing for a bracelet 🤣.
Hellmuth is 100% in the right here.
Imagine how many times you’ll ever see that sentence.
@Steven Walker Yep, and let’s be honest, if that was Ivey or Negreanu the guy heckling would have been removed immediately. They let it slide because it was Phil and were hoping for a reaction for clicks and views. Really screwed up honestly, and it takes a lot to make Phil look sympathetic, but they did it here.
B’s being b’s
Right! I can’t stand the guy 99 percent of the time but Jackson’s rail was outta hand
Phil went right in on those roast beef curtains… what a pro!!
Phil is 100% correct props to phil he handle himself well
Pulled the buns apart and went for the roast beef….Phil is an animal!
Surprised by Phil's calm reaction after that Queen on the river!
First video ever where I found myself rooting for Phil to win.
He pulled the buns apart and just went straight in on the roast beef 😂😂
Only pull that move if she's gorgeous, sweet and hygienic.
I love when Phil gets beat. But I actually was rooting for him in this one
@James what do you mean why, imagine playing poker and people are heckling you left and right.
why
I want to see Perssons and Hellmuth at the final table heads up together 🤣🤣🤣🤣 now that would be interesting to see exactly how Phil would handle that. He had a meltdown just with the heads up battle. I think it'd be worse if it was a final table.
It’s not very often I agree with Phil but he’s right here especially with a bracelet on the line
hearing Phil repeat it is amazing haha
I have never even once felt bad for Phil Hellmuth
I don’t care that Phil H is Phil H. This is outrageous - so much money on the line, serious business. People shouting obscenities when it’s this direct and directly influencing the players. Disgusting.
@Zack that changes the course of the game, you just said it didn't and explained why it did in the same sentence
@Alexander Kings Congratulation, you played yourself!
Whos crying is obvious because you dont know what respect is! GG!
@fomori2 Hey dufus, yelling at the free throw line and berating players is two different things. Let me ask you this, this will tell me everything about you; do you think Phil deserves it? What if a player at the table was doing it, is it different then?
@out4delf "What next, kick the fans out at an NBA game for yelling during free throws?"--
Nice equivocation fallacy in your strawman example, pretending that yelling and berating are equivalent.
You do know that berating players at an NBA game can, and has, gotten people kicked out.
@Zack psychology is a huge part of the game though. Forgetting the last hand and or not getting tilted, is one of the biggest part of the game.
Its just super messed up for people to do this to phil. he provides you great poker and people think they can just try to flame him when they are not even playing. kick those guys out instantly
Phil tought me how to be a pro in poker.
Personally pulling the buns apart and diving straight in to the roast beef is what keeps my marriage spicy.
Top 100 Clip-Share comment in the history of Clip-Share. Absolutely brilliant sir. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✊
10:26 is the greatest poker commentary I've ever heard 🤣
imagine this happening at a chess tournament
Kind of agree with Phil tbh. Just let him play. If you're there to support your pal who's on final table, just cheer for him. No need to abuse Phil
Why not?? Hes a schmuck and a half,
@Greg Jack my point really is that its lame when humans hold people to particular standard that they dont also hold themselves to. Phil is an example of such human.
@David S put you Beats headphones and let him get tilted even more, better t.v.
@David S and he's sponsored and we ain't,people like seeing him get all pumped up tell me otherwise buddy,, first of all you only go down to his level if you act the WAY he does with everyone else. Be the leader not the follower.
@Greg Jack Phil literally abuses people everytime he plays.
😂 No sandwich deserves that kind of disrespect, Phil! 🥪
This is how Phil keeps the spotlight on hum even when he has no hand
Oh my, the commentary on the phill hellmuth roast beef bite was incredible. "He pulls the buns apart and just gets in there!"
That sandwich bite was shocking haha
Totally agree with Phil….it’s sad that sports events (eg Wimbledon) are being spoiled by audience members that now feel entitled to abuse players…..they should be removed instantly
10:26 I can’t stop laughing!! Phil is priceless for moments like these.
Totally destroying that sandwich!
Even if someone thinks Phil doesn't deserve respect, there's other players that do.
Hellmuth well named and very entertaining, especially when he is being crushed.
10:28 had me dying 😂😂😂
"He pulled the buns apart and just went straight in on the roast beef!" Hahahaha
Phil's sandwich eating style is on another level
Times tamp
With all the crazies running around today there is absolutely no excuse to allow these people to go in there and create a situation. Where the fk is security?!?
Did you forget summer 2020? The North American slave trade means certain people don’t have to follow rules.
What security?
It makes you wonder what is going on in these guys life that makes them comfortable with heckling someone. It’s easier to punch down when your hiding in the audience than it is when you on stage.
10:30 now that's Phil going for VALUE!
Phil is totally right and I never thought I'd say that..lol this situation is like the movie happy Gilmore there just trying to throw him off his game but unfortunately this is real life these guys needed to go!!!
Sometimes I seriously don't get why so many hate Hellmuth. He's gold and hilarious! And in this case, way in the right. I would never want to play at that place if security won't do anything about hecklers.
The way Phil ate that sandwich confirmed to me that the guy is 110% a psycho.
There’s a big difference between players heckling each other to try to get them on tilt and an external person doing it.
While there is a level where Phil brought this on himself, we can't have hecklers watching the final table. The floor shouldn't even wait for Phil to tell those guys to knock it off or leave.
Love it, anything that upsets the big baby has my full support
I was on the rail when this happened. It was way, way, way over the top - and a disgrace that the floor allowed it to go on for as long as it did.
"If there was not luck I would always win"
Phil Hellmuth
@Lasha Xoperia Whenever he goes all in with the worse hand, the other guy is an idiot for outplaying him 🤣. But despite the backlash he gets for playing a conservative game, the dude has enjoyed an unparalleled longevity.
He is right tho, almost always he goes all in with a better hand
He deserves some respect even if u like him or not. This is completely out of line and totally unacceptable
The sandwich reaction was epic!!
You had me at Phil Hellmuth gets heckled
My new favorite Hellmuth quote. "Honey, do you have a sandwich?" 😜
The more Phil reacts to these hecklers and even players, the tougher it'll get for him in the future tables. if he smiles every time they heckle him, watch it go away .
