He was released from prison…to house arrest. This can happen for a variety of reasons (it’s usually a sign their defence did a very good job). He’s still very much under investigation and the accusations still stand! I honestly don’t understand what you Tate fans imagine is going on here… 😄

No it doesn't mean there's no evidence... it's just how things work in Eastern Europe in general from what I have heard! It takes months or even years to start a legal process and during this time the accused stays in prison or house arrest!

alleged offence, but no more than 5 years.

In the states, people can post bond but can have their movement restricted to their home. You never heard of that before?

@Kay Cee generally though, here in the states, you do have to be CHARGED with a crime to undergo any of the stipulations of being released from jail until trial…here in the states, he would be able to sue the city or state that arrested him and detained him with no charges

I have custody of my son. Suddenly the "child support" agency suspends my license claiming I owed them back "child support". Alleging I do not support my son. They suspended my driver's license for 1 year 7 months. 1 year 7 months with no transportation. No true family to help. No friends. Finally got it reinstated. INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. It's not accurate to say there are no charges. They're just private until they go to trial. The EU just has more privacy rights. It's not a significant difference.

Nobody knows the truth about what happened that landed them in the Romanian prison.
That came as a shock.
But from watching the videos, especially the later videos, I must congratulate them.
They are leaning towards discipline and right living, and encouraging the upkeep of morality.
The Tates are not religious leaders of any kind, but considering the environment and lifestyles they have been exposed to from birth, and their experience, the discipline and advices especially that Andrew is pushing, is refreshing and a force for good. Yet some people are dead against him.
He may appear crude but the good part of the message is slowly sinking in. That’s a good thing.
I know of many young people living in this topsy turvy world of today, confused, but after watching the Tates, they began listening and realizing the errors of their ways. Many are drawn to the Tates and making adjustment.
For strange obscure reasons, the Romanian government kept them locked up for awhile. Anyway it’s great that they are now finally free from imprisonment.
Now the continuation in their efforts to inspire young people all over the world into realizing and discarding indisciplined lifestyles and move towards better, meaningful and healthy living.

I think he has a case to say he is being persecuted, considering he just spent over three months in jail and is now on house arrest with absolutely no charges being filed.
In the EU they just call an arrest after you've first been accused pretrial detention instead of "being charged". They also just gave him bond, it's not that they've discharged the accusation against him. So he's still not out of the woods yet.

These are good men that have a good relationship with there mother and wife’s and daughters and has been extremely rich for so long I couldn’t understand why they would do the things they were put in jail for I think some powerful person, group or country or all of them combined decided they had enough of the Tates so they made up a ton of false charges arrested them have kept them locked up in a old, gross, dirty, horrible food away from most people and denied them any visits from even there mother there wife’s daughters and sons there friends and even there lawyers they were only allowed to speak to like one certain lawyer over the phone once in a while and kept them hidden from the public the best they could while they were locked up the Romanian police or government took/stole a bunch of there money, a few of there expensive cars and probably most of the stuff they were able to get there hands on worth a decent amount of money in there property they should not of been raided, arrested, kept in jail and many of had there assets and money stolen by Romanian authorities it completely seems they were trying to break the Tate brothers spirit and make them stop talking but it did not work they are very strong minded intelligent individuals that were done very wrong by someone with to much power this has ruined the reputation of Romania I was planning a trip there last year now I’m probably never gonna go visit the country crazy world Tate’s we’re right and we’re done horribly wrong by the system but it did break there spirits or drive them crazy tough men that speak there minds have tons of confidence and they do what they think is right nothing will stop those men !!

Glad they have been released. I don't really care about the brothers, but if they were to be kept in jail for years, it would have mean that what they were accused of was true, and I'm so happy it's not the case.
They're on house arrest. This is bond not a discharge of the accusations.

@Haxor - Rex You're confused by the semantics. In the US you charge someone immediately after establishing probable cause they arrest them. In the EU you have privacy rights so the charges aren't made public until they go trial. They call it pretrial detention instead but it's the same process as being charged in the US.
So don't confuse his privacy rights for a lack of charges, he's still been formally and legally accused of a crime. He's just made bail here but he's not free to go. This isn't over for him yet.

lets not forget how journalists were in front of his house when he was swatted, as if theyve known it

*Media propaganda was trying to make him seem like a human trafficker despite no evidence
*Was kept in detainment for ungodly amounts of time aka a violation of his human rights
Whoever did this should have their rights stripped from them as well so they can't experience what they did
