I love how this went from a simple parody to a full-fledged series

I like how a parody series that started off as one-off joke has one of the most genuinely horrifying depictions of missingno to date.

Watching this series since it started is single handedly one of the best decisions I've ever made.

What started as a parody became one of the darkest, most thought provoking and emotional series ever.

It's a very important message and one I didn't expect coming.

I love how as the series went on the episodes turned more into short films than cutaways

To say I love this series is an understatement, episode 8 was literally perfect and I’m so excited to see what Bulbasaur & Mewtwo been up to. Also looking forward to hearing more about the caterpie war and maybe we’ll see Charmander again as a ghastly 👀

With a 1.5 hour runtime, I can now confidently state that Starter Squad is more than half complete. Two episodes to go.

It feels weird to me, knowing I first watched this in my late teenage years and now I am an adult. I will be happy and sad once this series comes to a close. Been one heck of a journey, very entertaining, is really good as well.

BLEH! I can’t believe how good this series gets. I was enthralled by some scenes and laughing out loud at others. What a fun representation of Pokémon.

this was so funny, up until episode 7 i was laughing. the twist in episode 9 was heartbreaking, honestly! i hope something good happens in the next two episodes.

The way that one of the best written series of all time came from what seemed like a one-off skit blows my mind. The way the most recent episodes gets my blood pumping is something that no other piece of media is able to elicit from me. Could not be more hyped for the final two episodes, I know they're going to be amazing.

i am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 15:34. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 40:10 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 1:00:5.I am currently crying so hard right now. I'll miss Charmander, but I like the amount of character development Squirtle got from the war and all that.

Following this series on all this years it's just incredible. I will always remember of it as a part of my childhood. Like, when I was 7 or 8 years old the series started and I saw the first episode. A Kinda weird... but very, very good childhood.

I love this series because it shows how screwed up the system is in the pokemon universe, but it also doesn't overuse gore or disturbing imagery for shock value like so many other youtube series do. It's compelling characters making their way through a ridiculous world with stupid rules everyone unquestionably follows except for them. And the fact it came from a silly skit blows my mind.

It amazes me how the Caterpie leader is mad at Charmander for "making a hat out of her Caterpie brother's head" but isn't mad at Butterfree for making a coat out of their Metapods' skin.

Shippidge has come such a long way and this series is outstanding! Episode 10 was incredible and the graphics and the way things were made. It was definitely worth waiting a couple of years to see episode 10. I can’t wait to see the two final episodes of this series. Even though it’ll take a long time it is all worth it in the end!

I just realized if charmander were to sort of “come back” he might be an illusion made by the gods when wartortle fights them. That illusion will probably guilt trip him like, saying stuff about why he didnt fight back. Also there still a question about missingno who was in the flash back being reppeled by mewtwo for a few seconds. Missingo will probably play a role in the last few episodes….unless they make a season two or something lol. ALSO the real charmander could also come back as a ghastly if u heard what haunter said about everyone who dies turns into a ghastly. So maybe?
But fr when charmander died I was like 😳. Honestly thought he would live but his plot armor left him lol 💀. I am so excited to see the last two episodes!

I gotta wonder if this is what Shippiddge had planned for this series all along or if he just made it up as he goes. Either way, this is so epic and I loved watching episode 10 a second time!

Seeing this in my notifs compelled me to rewatch the entire series up to now, I remember being absolutely hooked on it a couple years ago from how hilarious and well-animated it was
I also have to commend this series for taking the serious turn in episode 10 so well; often when comedy shows turn serious, they just become boring and uninteresting, but this I find to be genuinely engaging! I truly want to see how Squirtle’s story unfolds from there
