"I know what to say now... " 💚 What do YOU think of these new leaks? 👇🐺
even tho the name is was stupid in rebels like see iron squadron just for the first good shot of live action YT2400 miss the outrider
rex is very likely and hoping
not sure about this, only way see this is they go to ezra home where the wolfs are
I'm totally stoked for Ahsoka!!
More Ahsoka to the people Sounds great The Bendu is a fun character Loth Wolfs sounds great Love wolfs as much as Dave. Think they might give us Zeb but they won't spoil it
I’m not sure you could tell Ahsoka’s story without Rex… He was such a huge part of her life - almost as much as Anakin - AND he’s still alive…
Yes
@Doug Brown As we all know, aging is a bit odd in the Star Wars universe… Rex was retconed to be the grey bearded rebel soldier soldier on the ground on Endor in ROTJ…
He might not be the warrior he once was but he would still be a strong alli as a strategist with multiple connections. As well as ahsokas trusted friend
@Matonn Its very likely that Rex did find a way to slow down the aging process of his clone body. So now he's the grizzled old man soldier veteran who may or may not have taken up traits of Mandalorian and his own personal military training.
@Stanley Dodds Yeah, he would be 41 years old so 82 physically. But it was confirmed that this old man from Battle of Endor was Rex, so why couldn't he survive a few years more?
I really hope to see Lothal in live action in the Ahsoka series
We will I know it especially since Ahsoka was waiting for Sabine in Rebels I have a feeling they will recreate that moment in live action 🙏🏼😫❤️
@Sujin W Its kinda obvious that the streaming series and films are moving away from that world. It will be good to see completely different worlds.
No you’ll get Tatooine and like it
I can’t even express how excited I am for this show! The clone wars show was the first Star Wars work I watched when I was little so I’ve literally grown up with Ahsoka and revels was one of my favorite shows so this show is everything to me.
@Noted Sinner I was 4.
@Electric City same ! I was like 6-7
This comment makes me feel so old. The first movie I ever saw in theatres was The Empire Strikes Back.
I would really love to see a live version of the pergals and would love to see them go onto hyperdrive
Judging by S3E1 of Mandalorian, it looks like you will
Definitely want to see Bendu and Ahsoka visit, but not from the one we are aware of, but a meeting after world Between Worlds, seems like a better learning moment for Ahsoka, looking back on Bendu’s words, her experience on Mustafar, and more info about Ahsoka for the future
I'd love to see live action kanan through flashbacks!
I like the wolf. He's gorgeous. It would make sense for Dave FIloni to work on Ahsoka by himself. He knows his girl better than anyone, she's his baby after all.
I heard Favreau also worked on it
What a great time to be a Star Wars fan...new books, video games, comics, animation and shows...loving all of it. Hopefully we will get Star Wars back on the big screen too.
Who knows? Maybe the giant wolf is a manifestation of the spirit of Kanan. Given that Filoni has full control over Ahsoka it is no surprise that aspects from Clone Wars and Rebels will be implemented in the show.
Bendu in live action would be cool but Bendu in live action with Tom Baker coming back voice him and a scene with Ahsoka would be a total mind melting nerdgasm!
I get chills thinking about how good this is gonna be
I'm just finding out this news right now. And I've been dreaming for so long that Loth-wolves would appear in AHSOKA. I crossed my fingers and toes hoping praying Loth-wolves would appear in AHSOKA. And now that it's actually happening. It feels unreal. Like I'm dreaming I'm so happy my mind is spinning with joy. I'M SO HAPPY! I might just cry tears of absolute joy.😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😃😃😃😃😃😃
Can't wait for Ahsoka. Has the potential to be an interesting story. I'm ready for new Mando but I think I'm looking forward to Ahsoka more.
Ahsoka is going to be the best Disney+ Star Wars series, the amount of leaps and chances that Filoni is going to take is so risky but inspiring to see. I think this will be the most refreshing show out of all the series, even Andor, and I think it's going to be the show that really widens our perspective of the SW universe. It won't only bring added context, it'll also bring in a lot of new perspectives/things in general. Again I say, it sucks for the people who refuse to watch Clone Wars/Rebels, they won't be nearly as much satisfaction and it's their loss tbh.
The white loth wolf isn't dume. There was a specific wolf that was much bigger and acted as Caleb dumes spirit guide that was named dume. It was the one that gave Ezra the piece of the temple with the mortis God hands on it.
If you already have Hera Sabine Ezra and Thrawn, Zeb just has to be in Ahsoka. It’s just something that needs to happen in live action. It would be so cool
David is taking the best parts of Rebels and putting them in the Ahsoka show. He’s a genius. There’s a lot of unexplored lore that we will finally unravel.
Ahsoka could very well become my favourite Star Wars show of all time - hell, it could be in my top 5 shows of all time.
Thank you so much for all the work you put into your videos. This is one of the best SW youtube channels out here.
Ashoka and mando in the same year, it’s gonna be a fun 2023!
Man these Ahsoka leaks keep making me more and more exciting. Hope Dave can pull it off!
Before any of the new movies or live actions shows, there were The Clone Wars and Rebels. Can’t wait to see Ahsoka build on that legacy.
I have a good feeling about Ahsoka and what other thing are in the brewing.
The Ahsoka series is going to be awesome! I really hope they have Kanan in the Ahsoka series in some form, if it's as Dume (it would be awesome to see a Loth wolf), a flashback, or a force ghost. And then if Bendu made a appearance, WOW! But for now we need to wait and see.
I agree, i’m probably looking forward to Ahsoka more than The Mandolorian, which is saying something. I LOVED Andor, Kenobi … meh a massive missed opportunity, BOBF the less said the better, so i’m really up for a bit of mysticism with The Force, a good bit of lightsabers, Jedi, and all those characters you mentioned. I just pray it lives up to hopes and expectations. If it does then yeah, it’ll be the biggest show this year.
Rebels is my favorite Star Wars animated show and am so ready for Ashoka, this is so exciting!!
I hope we will see both rex and zeb in the ahsoka series and I know there gonna do something with the dume wolf for the show and be an important piece for it but I really still hope there is a way they might show kanan possibly surviving the explosion, he deserves to be reunited with his friends and family and his friend ahsoka
I doubt FPJ will appear as Kanan in any live action capacity, he has quit that side of acting. That said, I think he would be open to doing a voice over, I'd love to hear another nugget of wisdom. As for the show itself, it's going to be hugely emotional. Seeing the Rebels crew again will be great and we'll see Jacen Syndulla as well, no doubt he'll be much like his father.
"People don't pay enough attention to the world around them." - Kanan
Well, I am also a Wrasslin' fan.. If, he wants some publicity for his Wrestling Company, maybe he can take a flight n Film for a Day.
Unlike many of you, I was grown when A New Hope came out. I occasionally watched The Clone Wars but my favorite after A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back was the Rebels series. Sure the first season was a little juvenile but starting the second season, the show really took off. They explored aspects that were in keeping with the concepts developed initially by George Lucas. As a result, I went back and watched the Clone Wars. Rebels then took it to the next level with Bendu, loth cats and wolves, the world between worlds etc. I hope that the Ashoka show takes these themes and runs with them. I hope that everyone watchers the four seasons of Rebels and the 7th season of the Clone Wars to be prepared for Ashoka. I can’t wait!
Loth Wolfs were the gaudians of the portal to the World Beyond The Worlds and we know part of Ashokas series takes place there so im not surprised. Glad rebels is gettng light shone on it
Excited and I love the idea of the Bendu appearing. Love the Lothe wolves
I hope that we get to see Kanan as a force ghost, with Freddie Prinz Jr playing him
Oh man. I am so excited to see Dune and possibly even Bendu from Rebels. Bendu was the most intriguing part of the show for me. They can do so much with the content they have. Did you hear about the Mando S03 trailer dropping on Monday!?
If this is true about Kanan appearing in live action for the first time, then I will look forward to it. I’ll look forward to new updates.
I didnt know if there would be some tears in the Ahsoka series, but if there are going to be connections to Kanan, then it's a for sure.
I have been waiting to see this. The more that we hear the
more I am getting excited for the start. Thanks Meg. 😄😄😄😄😄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow Awesome news update Meg awesome news on Ahsoks it would be great to see the wolves again they were great in rebels and I hope there are force ghosts of kannan as well as the usual suspects mega excited about Ahsoka thank you SWM
I can’t wait but am nervous that they will botch it like they did with the Kenobi series , I would like them to use content from the ahsoka novel and see more to her loneliness from how she felt when she was I hiding and what happened to her when she went into the sith temple in rebels
I really liked Kenobi! What do you think they botched in it?
I really liked Kenobi! What do you think they botched in it?
I am stoked!! I am a huge fan of Loth Wolves...especially Dume!
bendu should absolutely get into live action, he's my spirit animal
I keep forgetting that Ahsoka is essentially living on borrowed time because of Ezra rescuing her
Hopefully, Ahsoka lives up to the hype.
I am really looking forward to it.
Knowing the online Star Wars ‘community’ it will be widely panned based on some insanely pedantic lore inaccuracies.
One thing I can only assume, even though it’s probably true, is they WON’T cram every rebels and clone wars into one season. A limited series, as Ashoka has been previously touted by Kathy herself, can be one or three seasons long. Judging from how ambitious this is, I don’t think it’ll be a one and done show like Kenobi, it’ll be spaced out over three seasons.
I feel like we’re gonna get the trailer pretty soon
I have been watching your videos for over a year now and think they are the best out there. You are awesome Meg.
Meg, Killing it as always. SOO Looking forward to this show
Wouldn't it be nice if that interaction would help if that is the reason why she comes back all in white like gandelf the white from ltor
And i who is already so hyped for ashoka keep hearing better news al the time. The wolves in the series will be awesome.Ashoka i am waiting for you to start the series.
Thanks for the news update Meg 👍😃🐺
These leaks suggest way more substantive content than we have seen in any other live action show. I can’t fathom most of this will make it into the actual show.
Hey Meg, could Seventh Sister appear in Jedi: Battle Scars or Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade?
Absolutely! I don't see why not 😊
Has anyone seen the fan art of Luke, Ahsoka and Ezra as Jedi Masters for the New Jedi Order? Oh how I wish this future can be real and replace the sequels 🙌
My only concern for Ahsoka is that they will attempt to cut corners as cost-saving measures. Creative ambition can only be fully realized with successful execution. Lucasfilm and Filoni/Favreau have made poor choices in this regard-to the detriment of the end product.
Choices such as…?
Looking forward to watching this with my kids, cast looks solid, Dave Fil says he's happy with the production, should be good.
Sheesh, how many episodes will this series have? Because I imagine it'll be difficult to do all the things they're allegedly doing over just 8 40 minute episodes
Ahsoka has so much potential. I think leaning towards rebels is it's best pass, but who am I to say anything.
I reckon they’ll connect it to the skywalkers as much as possible, because more people will understand it. Connecting too many of the plot points to a children’s cartoon from years ago without any further explanation might be a bit risky?
The Ahsoka series is setting up to sequel to Star Wars Rebels and I'm so excited about these leaks. Thanks Meg!
I hope they capture the feel of that Mando episode with Ahsoka...
Zeb could appear in the Ashoka season 1 finale? Set up for season 2 or Mando season 4?
Seriously, I can't wait she is my favorite character!
Fantastic news, Meg! Thanks!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I'm more excited for ashoka than any other show!
I loved Bendu, and it would be amazing to see him in live (CGI?) action, but only if Tom Baker returns to voice him. I mean talk about perfect casting.
DF has proven to be a good story teller. I believe he'll do a good job and sprinkle in the flash-backs, and references to Rebels judiciously. Regarding CGI, I hope they'll use it as sparingly as possible. They've done a good job so far, so the CGI as blended in well. I just hope he doesn't try to shoe-horn in everything he can think of, and muddy the waters with too much. I don't think he will, but that's my only concern.
I can all but guarantee Kanan’s return because of this:
At the end of this SAME arc with Bendu, here is the dialog between Ezra and Kanan (I just rewatched myself):
Ezra: I wanted to thank you for coming back.
Kanan: I will always come back.
Ezra: I know.
Why would this be written into the script, if there was not a single time Kanan “left” after this point until his death? This has to be an Easter egg in plan, especially how this happened right after Kanan’s new force awakening within himself. Whether he comes back as Dume, a ghost, or something else, I am CONFIDENT he will be back
Oh snap, you’re right! Just watched it myself. Dang, nice catch.
Love your videos i love how you're always positive.
meg you’ve become a regular that i watch. thank you for being quick and thorough
Can't Wait & I Hope Bendu Is In It
Can’t wait for this one!
WOAHH! Hope these leaks are True! Kanan "Coming back" will pull so many heart strings!
The child of Lasat has to come to live action one day.
I'm so excited for this show. Mostly because of my crush on Sabine. I know that's entirely stupid, but I can't help it.
Same haha!!
totally reasonable tbh. for me the most interesting characters in SW are, in order, ahsoka tano, sabine wren, maarva andor, omega... all for different reasons, but yep I get the crush.
Wow almost an entire episode without mentioning the sequels! 🎉. But hey, it’s your show! Enjoyed the info none the less.
Meg, the Dume loth wolf IS Kanan..... The Bendu taught to "empty" himself of emotion so he could see clearly through the force without his own emotions clouding his vision. The spider lesson on Atollon... Yoda learns to be the master of his emotions which allows him to become a force ghost of the balance between light and dark and keep his consciousness after death,. Kanan learns to be devoid of emotion like all of nature that the Bendu represents, the path of the "Middle". This is another path to living beyond death in the Living force and the reason why Kanan becomes the "spirit animal" Dume and not a force ghost of his human form. There are 2 paths to becoming one within the Living force, by mastering your emotions like Yoda, or by emptying yourself of them like Kanan did through the "Middle". (Non-sentient animals are still part of the living force but are devoid of the ego of self therefore are devoid of emotion and inherently in balance; in the "Middle".)
I can't get enough Ahsoka Tano, I know others may disagree, but that's ok!
Bendu is suited live action but Zeb isn’t? I don’t understand your reasoning behind those statements. Both seem like they’d be pretty difficult to cross over, but I’d still like to see both in live action personally.
@O'Raine Foster they could do it similar to how they did man-thing for werewolf by night. 90% practical with a little cgi to smooth it out.
Bendu they can kinda do practically, he looks like a creature from Neverending Story. With his design, it can work with an animatronic. With Zeb, being he is a human like alien it will be more difficult to achieve. We've seen cat like creatures in media, and if they go CGI it'll end up looking like the nightmare fuel of Cats. If it's practical, it'll take a hell of alot to convince people and satisfy the fans. Case in point, how people overreacted with Cad Bane in TBOBF. So, from this perspective I understand. I'd still love to see them both of course and i'm sure they'd pull it off but i understand the reservations.
Ahsoka has the possibility to be the best show this year
He's not a wolf, he's a luck dragon and his name is Falkor. 😂 Great video, can't wait for this show
“Like a Loth-wolf!” 😆 thanks for this video.
i was sitting on the couch joking about Bendu with my youngest and it occurred to me that he would be an amazing live action character. Hopefully this happens.
Could we see cody again in bad batch season 2
I THOUGHT DUMEWOLF WAS GOING TO BE LINKED TO LOTHAL, WE GONNA GET MORE CALEBWOLF, HELL YES!
I too love wolves, and for a very long time. Loth Wolves are one of my favorite Star Wars animals.
I wish they bring back the purrgils too! 😂
Although I'm a child of the OT, and have only seen bits and pieces of TCW and Rebels, I really love Ahsoka. She seems to embody so much of what Star Wars is at its best, and I hope the show goes well.
I'm all for CGI if it's done meticulously. It can be utterly convincing when time is taken with it and budgetary limits aren't a problem. Bad CGI makes me think of those old sci-fi movies where rear-projected iguanas were used as "dinosaurs" ...
i want to see ezra bridger, and thrawn, that'll be cool
I’m a big fan of Rebels too. I prefer the time period and general vibe of it to Clone Wars, though Clone Wars is academically a better show. I’m going to sob if Doom speaks to Ahsoka or Ezra or some manifestation of Kanin comes back to give them advice. I feel like Ezrah will need it. I’m so excited for Ahsoka. I trust Dave to the hilt with everything to do with Ahsoka. I think the show’s gonna be really good. Maybe a little rocky at first while it finds its footing, but nothing major.
Ahsoka is my favorite Star Wars character, I cannot wait for the show. I heard Favreau did work on Ahsoka.
This is where the fun begins i miss cgi star wars that's what we need
I'm still sad that while Ray Stevenson and Kevin McKidd are involved in SW projects, they aren't going to be playing live versions of Zeb and Kallus a la Pullo and Vorenus.
Yeah G'day,
Yes, it's all down to Filoni and if I do have a concern about Ahsoka is that it's trying to fit in too much in a short space of time. In relation to Bendu will TB be able to voice him, as that was the appeal of the character having The Doctor explaining things I still think he knows about Ahsoka's life journey and resurrection by The Daughter and is aware of her uniqueness.
Cya, round like a rissole.
It's goodnight from him, and it's goodnight to you.
Are you saying that she's going to watch the fight between Obi wan and Anakin from the world between worlds? Because that would be pretty epic assuming they film it right. I don't want to see shots reused from Revenge of the Sith, Not completely anyway.
While I love these shows, I hope the Three Body Problem will be the show of 2023.
I agree that Ahsoka sounds like it could be the best SW offering of 2023. Though I'm not a huge fan of copious, that is to say over-used CGI, there is lots to anticipate and it's getting exciting.
I can’t wait!
Neat that you put a spoiler in the thumbnail.
Wow. How amazing. I can’t wait
I'm trying to figure out how Kanan would even be a Force ghost? It just makes no sense. He didn't have anyone to teach him that. Possibly part of his essence is in the Wolf. But him being a Force ghost just doesn't work.
@rjphilla Someone taught Qui Gon Jinn and it wasn't anyone we saw in the movies. It may have been a previous Jedi but we don't know yet. We might assume The Whills or another entity in the Cosmic Force can teach anyone worthy of it if they're prepared.
@O'Raine Foster I'm just trying to figure out how he learned to become a force ghost. Someone has to teach you.
In Rebels, there was a scene where Kanan, kinda as a force ghost, touched Hera on the shoulder for comfort. So, I think that's probably how its gonna work, it'll be an illusion type of thing.
Love your view on Bendu!
Falcor was not a wolf he was a "luck dragon"
@Quetzalcoatl the Feathered Serpent I forgot about that!
They are not referring to Falcor the luck dragon dog..
They are referring to Gmork. A large black wolf that was in league with the Nothing in a attempt to destroy Fantasia.
He speaks to the main character in the story and he really is a impressive puppet or animatronic.
