Yeah. But for us old geezers and geezerettes, there's NOBODY like Walter Cronkite. He made us feel safer during Kennedy assassinated, and the Vietnam War.

Always be kind to people...Your life may depend on it in many ways. Many today dealing with mental illness and pushed to breaking point. Im always taking back when co-workers bully another....Its foolish on many levels. We had a active shooting at plant I worked at...the person was bullied. Thank God ours ended well.

@Harriett Cornett EUTSLER It's easy to just categorize people as "crazy"....I do believe for every action there's a re-action. This happens to be a rather 'violent' one. Just be kind to people. Don't push people around. Especially in a 'gun' society, no one's weak or can be picked up. It's better to just treat everyone with respect and kindness.

    • Harriett Cornett EUTSLER

You are right I think in that case we have to work harder to help people who are innocent and young to show them how they should behave!

    • Harriett Cornett EUTSLER
      Harriett Cornett EUTSLER Month ago

@Crypto Inside There is no excuse for bullying. It sounds like he was very ill and we should try harder to find out why this is happening now so much more than when I was young. I believe that faith plays a big role or lack of it that causes people to behave violently, Also the family and how they grew up has a lot to do with this behavior or behavioral issues.

    • Harriett Cornett EUTSLER
      Harriett Cornett EUTSLER Month ago

@Vincent Yu Hi Vincent, It is terrible when anyone bullies another. I was bullied too and sometimes still am. We just have to keep on going and show whoever is doing the bullying that they are not going to have anyone to care for them if they keep it up.
Don't take any serious action but you show them how to behave.
I sorry you had to go through what you did. Let's all try to make this work and I think it is but it will take a long time I think!

All the stores here still closed early in Florida. Ever since the pandemic the stores decided they need to shut their doors three hours early. Even Walmart never resumed their normal business hours. But somehow on Black Friday I guess Covid is gone and people stay open 24 hours? Weird.

Shame on you for buying into his feelings of being treated poorly by coworkers and not acknowledging there is at least a chance that he was mentally ill and that the cowokers feelings about him being difficult to get along with were true. As someone with schizophrenic family members, I can tell you that a mentally ill person will many times refuse to admit they have a problem unless it benefits them in some way and won't accept available help, etc. As a person who felt resolving his issues required killing coworkers and himself, he clearly was a deeply troubled individual.

Careful with those credit cards people. With inflation, the balance can balloon out of control FAST. Know your limits and check your card balance often (recommend once a week using your phone). If you are living paycheck to paycheck, pay off the balance and cancel them. Sorry, but you cannot afford credit if you're struggling that hard.

You're missing out big time. That's not good for your financial health either. Credit cards actually save me alot of money and give me better purchase protection. My discover card gives me 5% back and they will double all rewards earned at the end of the year. Zero annual fee and many card holder benefits like not havingto purchase rental insurance and doubling electronics standard warranty free. I will never pay any interest and the card will literally make over a thousand dollars just this year alone. Not to mention when it comes time to buy a house or a car having a strong credit profile can ensure you will save tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the loan by getting the best offer available. There is a major misconception that credit cards are bad, but it is how many people use it that is bad. Someone responsible like you could really use them for your advantage!

@Bryan Hann I say he was never, or rarely bullied. You either. Does that give him the right to shoot people, no, but what gives others the right to bully? I was bullied today for wearing a mask. Guy coughed twice right in my face . Had I swung on him, in an attempt to protect myself, I'd be in jail. At best, he'll get a talking to by the bldg manager, maybe the police too. Otherwise, I just have to bend over and take it. So, now, what if I get covid, and die? He just got away with murder. Same with this situation. Had that guy committed suicide over his bullying,, all of his bullies, got away with murder. If I accidentally pass it to my 87yro mother, double murder. Who's at fault, where does it end?

@Dean Oldfield, all those people are the exact reason I’m not going to feel sorry for their plite/situation when and if they continue to b*tch about inflation. Not being able or difficultly to afford gas or put food on the table. Having to cut back so they can afford groceries, meds and so on. I’m not trying to be a negative Nancy, but I’m sick and tired of people blaming inflation on Biden when in fact inflation is a global ‘pandemic’. It’s hypocritical and most will go back to complaints of inflation and price of gas when it fits their narrative.
When they get those credit card bills they are using, it will be a shock when they see what they are paying in interest. Again, I’m certain people will start b*tching about the Feds raising the interest. It’s just a vicious circle for something that really wasn’t too bad in tears past.

    • Kimbo K
      Kimbo K 2 months ago

@S A and he also said the recipient had track marks. So if it were me, the package would not be delivered. Yes she'd have gotten the drugs another way but not from me. And btw, duabetics do not have track marks. They inject into their belly.

    • S A
      S A 2 months ago +3

@Kimbo K So if someone has track marks on their arms, they shouldn't be allowed to use delivery services? Are you suggesting that if someone looks a certain way, you should deny them of service? Even diabetics can get track marks... Imagine refusing to deliver someone's pie down the street, because you suspect drugs based only on the appearance of their skin.
Uber carries no blame here as the drugs would have reached the receiver another way. The service in itself should be commended as the sender of illegal goods was easily tracked down and apprehended, which likely wouldn't have happened if delivered another way. The fact that Uber is even mentioned is kind of clickbait as this is just a classic story of a fetanyl addict overdosing on drugs they purchased. I supposed by your logic the post office should check for track marks before allowing people to send envelopes too, since drugs could just as easily be sent through the mail, even without a identification.

    • Roberta Gabor
      Roberta Gabor 2 months ago

@Bryan Hann, It is a great problem. In the first place, drugs should never get across the border. The only way to do that is to close the borders and exercise greater care at the legitimate entries. Try crossing into Canada. We are so very lax about what comes into our country. Therein lies the problem.

I'm going to tell you exactly how I was framed. First let me tell you that this agent said that he was going to frame me and have my own family blamed for it. It was either the agent or the Hispanic Punk the cholo that said that I don't know exactly who. Okay now this is how I was framed they use my own cell phone. They listened in on me through my cell phone watch me through my own cell phone camera. They had people follow me. In cars on foot. How I know this is because one time well actually several times I got this funny feeling that I was being followed but this one time I was familiar with the area I was in so I knew that this one street was a dead end so I thought to myself if I'm being followed the car that's following me it's going to follow me into the dead end. And that's exactly what happened when I got to turn into the street. The guy following me following me into the street into the Dead ends. When he came in I was already facing to go out and we locked eyes
