The baby switching happened to one of my Titos.
When he was born, there was a swapping incident and, coincidently, another mother had the same chinese surname as theirs. That mother almost took him out the hospital until his aunt realized that the baby they had was a girl instead of a boy. The swapping was resolved after the other mom clearly thought what she had was her baby daughter. His mother complained at the hospital after.

For those who don’t know, babies are very rarely removed from the room to the nursery unless requested. They are given an ankle band and a monitor shortly after birth, and the newborn tests are now conducted in the room. It also varies from hospital to hospital.
Both of my kids were born in the same hospital, but their experiences were so different. With my oldest, the hospital was so full they ran out of ankle monitors, so all he had was an ankle band. They took him to the nursery to bathe him and run his newborn tests. Other than that, he stayed with me. With my youngest, he never left my sight. All tests were run in the room with me, he had his first bath with me in the room, and the nursery was never brought up. He did have his ankle monitor.
Getting switched at birth is not very common anymore thankfully.

Actually lia, there are bath sets that have specific chalk-ish texture you can use in the bathtub and they rub off if water is covered over them! Thank you for posting.

I had some when I was younger, and it is actually really fun! And it’s like dry erase markers, they can just rub off! If you have kids or young siblings, or anything like that, I definitely, definitely recommend getting some!🥰

For the people who don’t know, there are special markers made for bathtubs that you’re able to draw on the side of the wall but it is washable so it’s completely safe to draw, the more you know I guess

Bathtub crayons are actually a thing. When I was little I had them and have a very fond memory of drawing a kangaroo and a flower on the side of the bathtub. The drawings just come off with water. However, beware of bathtub drain cloggage as several of my bathtub crayons broke and fell down the drain.

For your question on drawing in the bathtub, there are special markers for that.

There's a type of pen I once had which is like an easy-rub marker and it's designed for baths! You can draw on the side of the bath with it.
