Thank you so much for this non-commercial, street-level view. Just like being there and no obnoxious promotions: just the way the parade ought to be. Bravo!!

Thank you so much to the photographer who stood and videotaped this whole thing. I tried to watch it on several different apps who said it was free and it wasn't. This has been a family tradition for as long as I can remember and my family is pretty much gone now and I was really depressed today and this was a beautiful ending to my Thanksgiving! Thank you USA today. It's very appreciated. 💕💕💕😌

Thank you USA Today for posting this perfect parade on a perfect day. Thank you Macy's for
giving us two parades in one: Thanksgiving and Christmas! It does not get any better than this. Floats, marching bands from across the USA, incredible balloons, clowns, celebrities, amazing handlers and parade crew. Parade Perfection perfectly presented without the TV coverage spin!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been watching Macy's Parades for 65 years or so, since I was a little kid in the NY area. I've lived abroad for a long time, and events like this bring back memories of the best of the United States of America. Every kind of person represented in the parade and among the crowd. Every kind of music. Everyone filled with happiness, not fear. And thank you, especially, for showing the signs. I have heard of Jordan Davis and Josh dela Cruz, but I wouldn't have recognized their faces from John Doe without the signs. In your future netcasts, please be sure your camera continues to capture the signs that identify the next thing we're going to see. I had no idea there was a historically black college called Benedict College in South Carolina, and, at the age of 71, I had no idea who Ada Twist, Scientist was until I saw the signs and could look them up. No signs? No learning about them. No learning about them and understanding why people were excited, and watching the parade is much less fun. And this is in just the first 27 minutes. Again, thank you, from a viewer far, far away who used to subscribe to the print edition of USA Today when I lived and worked in the USA. Oh, and lest I forget, a million thanks to the Macy's employees and extra police who give up their Thanksgiving morning to bring so much happiness to others.

@Alphawolf0 Yes. When we watch it on television we would like to see enough to feel immersed in the event so the enjoyment and happiness the parade brings to most is realized. Unfortunately someone else at the network sees an opportunity to exploit and monetize further an event we use to be able to watch uninterrupted for a longer periods of time. Happy Holidays

Thank you for telling us this. I had no idea the Thanksgiving Day Parade was held by store employees, to encourage customers to shop for Christmas. I am starting to feel really badly for all the advertisers. They are just trying to sell us stuff we already want and need. We always turned off the television during the ads at our house. Forty years later, and I can not afford to purchase most of the things I see advertised on television. I don't think that is a coincidence. My mother constantly ridiculed me and made me feel badly when I did things like ask for a violin when I was four. She did it again when I was seven, and I asked for ballette lessons. She made fun of me and made me feel badly about myself just for asking. She is the one that turned off the television during the advertisements. She also hits me all the time. Then she threatens to put me in prison. She does it all the time. Now I try my best to watch as many advertisements as I can, after taking a business class at college. I wish we had a way to watch advertisements when we want to. The live television does not allow us to re-watch advertisements.

I love the opportunity to watch the parade without all the ads. A real at the parade experience. However I would say that being fully zoomed in on people on the floats takes away from the experience. I'd like to see the full float and not be forced to just watch one person whom is riding on said float. If you wanted to zoom in to show who was on the float for a second or two and then zoom out to see the float that would've been better. Just a missed opportunity to be the best video of the parade. If I wanted to focus on the people on the floats I'd watch it on NBC or CBS but I really just wanted a better experience watching the parade in full and all the extreme zooming ruins seeing the floats.

Thank you!… Thank you so much & I wish y'all a fantastic day!!.. And to me, although I don't celebrate many holidays, Thanksgiving day is a joyous time to shower family, friends and all of those special people who means a lot to us with love and gratitude. And there is always something for which to be thankful. Isn't it? So by embracing and spreading the joy of the season, I am happy and thankful to see what’s there instead of what is not, and for the many people that are part of my life… Happy Thanks For All The Givings!! 🥰💯❣

I watched the parade every year growing up but lately I've been having to work every Thankgiving so I've been missing it. I'm glad I'm still able to watch it even if it's later in the week.

I woke up a few minutes after the parade ended in the morning. I never got to see the parade in-person as a child when I lived in New York, but now I understand why my parents told me it takes so long to get there and to wake up so early to get to the subway. I would still love to see those cool floats in-person.

      Hebrews
12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
      Acts
3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
      James 2:24,26
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
