I've had a couple squishy keyboards and trust me, the last thing you want is a keyboard with extra flex. It makes it feel super-cheap and is much harder to type quickly.

They’ve made a mood ring keyboard, a velvet keyboard, a wooden keyboard, and now finally a resin keyboard. Now, all that’s left is to make one out of soap.

The wooden keyboard is by far my favorite still (it was just too perfect), but this one turned out great. The letters really elevated the whole design. Looks like candy

For off colored keys where you can’t use a matching color, as it wouldn’t stand out. They can be done with silver for the lettering, making them stand out in more than one way from the normal keys.

I think Millie (short for Millibar) would be a great companion name for Pascal. Especially since the ratio of millibar to pascal is fitting for the sizes of the pressure pots.
Or Torry (Torricelli), for same reason (as 1 torr ≈ 133 Pa)

I thought Barye. (1Ba=0.1Pa) but I thought it as more of a comedic note to the name, like how Tiny or Little John is used for big dudes.
I would have tested white letters on the purple or used a cooler toned yellow but overall great episode. The effort you put in is commendable. Expensive keyboard! Would watch more of this if you wanted to do it again. 😊 glow in the dark....glitter!
you know, if they do a galaxy keyboard they could do glitter AND GitD AND even use the old purple ones (with white paint should work fine)
I know they said they don’t want to make another one, but look at it this way! The next one will be so much easier! You have all the molds already, and you now know the best practice for all the keys with how much you learned!

The new pressure pot looks so eager to help. It’s the most precious thing I’ve ever seen 😭
If you want to match pigment colours between two pours, you could pigment the resin _before_ adding hardener, then only use as much pigmented resin as you need for each pour 😊 it'd save you having to be so precise and everything.
They regularly forget to level things and add mold release. I don't think they have that sort of foresight 😂

I love and respect you guys putting so much beautiful technical work into something.... and then immediately being okay about not convincing yourselves you now have to make more and sell them. Maybe that's just where my brain went because... I would buy the hell out of them. But my need to turn every hobby into some kind of income is problematic. You're both heroes in my mind.
True story: They had to make a silicone mold of my teeth at the dentist, and the guy walks in and looks 100% like Evan. And here is the best part: They almost pulled out my teeth because they forgot Mold Release :)

You could still use the purple keys for another keyboard and just accent the carvings with white or gold. Honestly I'd love to see a whole keyboard in that dark purple with gold lettering It'd look super elegant.
I would suggest the new pressure pot be called Barye (Barry) to keep in theme with Pascal as a unit of measure for pressure. Barye is the CGS standard unit equal to 0.1 pascals, so there is an inverse proportional relation between the pressure pots, but that's because nothing can compare to the original.
And 1 bar is 10^5 pascals so it keeps with the fact that he's bigger!!

So now we must push for an edible keyboard
You could in theory glue all the keycaps to one board (while attached to a keyboard base), then pull them off the keyboard base part (keeping them glued to the board) giving you exact keys in layout, THEN make that a silicone mold. That way you could pour an entire keyboard of keys in whatever gradient you wanted to. Especially now that you have BB aka Big Boy pot

This is brilliant! You inspired me to think about a project. I've got a through hole 65% Alice style keyboard with a cat theme called the Orange Boy Ergo and I'd like to enclose it using resin without obscuring the cute cat silk print on the top and bottom of the board. I'm wondering if resin might be a cool way to do that. 🤔

Love everything but the colors. The hydro dip colors in your other video came out way nicer. But, I do like the costume engraved key designs on this one. They look super cute.
You should name it the Black Rain Frog. While it is known for it's always sad looks, yours would always be smiling! And the pressure pot has the same body style as the Black Rain Frog as well. Have a wonderful day!
I personal think the yellow looks so much better than the purple. The purple was just to dark with the light red and blue, but the yellow is perfect. It was a happy little accident!!😊

Looks awesome! For the new pressure pot, I would call him Hugo because he is huge and now that he is lived he is ready to go. Lol. Also now that you have keys with the symbols engraved you can make molds of those so you don’t have to redo the engraving if you make more.

It must feel a bit overwhelming when you're in the middle of a project, and you have a new element you want to add that adds more work. I appreciate it though! It's interesting to watch y'all problem solve to bring your ideas to life!
An idea for if you wanted all the keys to be at the exact same level, you could draw a full line or you could see exactly how much resin it takes to fill the different types of keys because you were using a syringe
Imagine a full resin keyboard with entirely custom individual keycaps like the first ones they made, would take weeks or months making so many detailed keycaps
With the amount of Keyboards they've made, I'm surprised they haven't done a collab with Glarses at this point
It would be cool to see since Glarses is more internal focused and they're focused on the external design

Hey guys, it was just pointed out in another Resin making youtubers video Ben's worx that the bubbles release gasses into the pot as they burst and when you open the valve it gets dispersed. the solution was to connect a hose to the release valve that is connected to ventilation to directly pipe the unseen gasses out of the workshop.
I suggest naming the new pressure pot Iris!
Because those googly eyes are enormous (and perfect).
