the fact this man was dedicated enough to fly there and be there for the game says a lot about his respect for the game and lebron tbh
I would say DION held his ground as a Fedex delivery dude he scored 20 points and nearly helped his team win. Sure LBJ had 40+ points but he's had many more games in the NBA with more points than that but LBJ has been playing pro league for what 20 years now meanwhile the other guy does this as a hobby. DION gets the W in my books he cooked Lechoke. u
@sfvirgo LBJ better cook scrubs that have real jobs. LBJ plays a child's game professionally and has been playing every day basically for probably 30+ years now. The other dude just does it as a hobby. It would be the biggest embarrassment ever if that guy either beat him or was on par with LBJ.
@Vincent Salamatino Still had 40 dropped on him. He didnt even contest lebron. Dudes a hater
It's insane how Bron's held to absurd standards by the public at age 37.
@Life Hacks TV nobody was talking about Jesus
call yourself King and thats what happens.

@Jason Knight nah that answer right there pretty much shows me your basketball IQ, why doesn't KD average that number then? And he's a 7 footer.
When he said he held lebron to 40 I just shook my head. We take king James for granted
This bum said he dropped 20 on Lebron all this highlights he wasn’t guarded by Lebron once
@bite me in the video it said he’s played for years in pro leagues in Europe. It’s definitely not just his hobby. Still agree with you he did amazing for what most people that play competitively at any level could do.

@Atomsk Reborn™ that’s a lie, Kings love to say “BUT I AM THE KING!”
@ConicalGutterSnake Dudes 6'7 and probably 8 years younger than him, lebron 8 years ago was basically averaging 40 against the best team to ever play the sports lets get real.
"I'm actually the first man to trash talk an NBA player on Twitter and back it up" - KD's burner account.
KD terrorised Lebron for years lol
That’s an ESPN stat right there
Mad respect homie talked his shit and flew across the country for the smoke and even backed it up a bit, finally someone with a spine out here

@Mark Agreed fam. LeBron patented the fast-break come from behind block. I swear he gets like 1 block A game chasing someone from behind after they think they got an easy one 😂
@Risen Dre bron is top 10 all time defender? Lol. Lebron defense is not too good at all
Stephen A Smith would Never 😂😂
Dion Wright got my respect. Dude dropped 20pts flew across the country last minute and didn't make any excuses for BARELY losing.
Obviously LeBron nor Derozan were going 💯 percent but still great job Dion & the team he was playing with.
@Steve Racial overtones
@Raheem Allah And kobe didn't drop 81 on jalen rose but everyone still says that now stfu
@Raheem Allah nah but u right tho that is a good point
This video actually made me respect Dion a lot more lmao not only did he fairly call out LBJ 10 years ago, he embraced the challenge today. He got cooked but the fact he performed well and almost won, I'd 100% take that as a big personal win.
@TheDarkNate sureeeeee 😂😂😂
Getting cooked by a 37 year old 🤣
Did what any othe NBA player would do. 🤔
Maaaaaaad respect to both guys for how this was handled. Dion especially but props to King James for giving the man that respect when earned. Very cool.
“I can hold him to 299 cuz he not bout to embarrass me out there” lmaooooo
"I'm averaging 6 fouls and 2 techs in the first 2 minutes" is also a good one ngl
Good to see he stepped up to the plate, also good to see LeBron taking time to just have fun💪🏿
Dude held bron to 42 and scored 20points.. WITH JETLAG!!! He a legend fr!
I would say DION held his ground as a Fedex delivery dude he scored 20 points and nearly helped his team win. 37 year old man scored 42 he should be a shame of himself he got cooked
just say he drop 20 and almost won the game lol all respect for Dion but holding someone who isn't going all out to 40 points isn't something to be proud about all love for dion for backing his trash talk( well he lost but still put a great fight)
@Eric Winslow thats not jet lag at all 😭😭😭
I got mad respect for Dion after seeing this. Dedication and great sportsmanship at its finest.
The fact that he did well and almost won the game is amazing. This man will tell this story to his kids and grandchildren hundreds of times.
It was impressive for sure and respect to Dion, but LeBron was relaxing in this game, this is like a dunk contest for him, he just styling on fools, which is insane considering these grown men are all from professional basketball backgrounds. See now MJ, he wouldn't relax, as soon as he learned about them tweets, he would have dropped a hundred on Dion, he would have annihilated him publicly and made a show out of it. MJ petty like that, but I guess LeBron is trying to be the bigger man.
@HopsMAX he was quite literally not taking it serious
You can’t say Bron went “half speed” and was also “held” to 40+ In the same paragraph my guy Lol. Dion was going full intensity all game…Bron just getting a quick workout…
Still lebron would not have embarrassed me like that I wouldn’t let him get more than 80 on me no cap
so many hating on dion 😂 if yall would take bron's meat out your neck youd realize half assing or not most the players even in drew league let alone randoms like us wouldn't be able to drop 20 on bron...dion def has talent and he shown he got the heart, why yall gotta hate and make up excuses for lebron?
Watching Dion’s “highlights”, you can even see that Bron was just letting him shoot. Like zero effort to defend the guy. Doesn’t sound like Dion earned LeBron’s respect to me.
@Vincent Guardino i nvr said i dont give the guy some credit. Just not the same amount that ig jimmy was trying to prove through the video. I give him credit for following up on his smack talk from years prior and also flying down there the day before to match up against him. I dont really give him all that much credit for "holding" bron to 40 points lol
@Alex Lebron half assing is still better then like mostly anyone In the world Lol just give dion some credit
The fact that he last minute flew across country to play in this game is legendary.
9:20 “42/16/4 lebrons stats going half speed” I’m done 😂😂
Nobody is better than Jimmy at telling a basketball story!
This was fun to watch. LeBron not taking the game as serious n just having fun. Was fun for the world. Dion is a beast no matter who he plays against. I’m gonna watch for him more
🤣 I love the honesty in the "How many points you holding LeBron to?" question's replies. Dude said "a calm 100" 💀
I was dead at 6 fouls, 2 techs in 2min😂
@N. Smith yeah they weren't Bird either lol true
@IZZO *On a good day*
you're such an incredible storyteller. this was amazing to watch 🙂
Jimmy is just that dude man. Always trying not to bring down the antagonists in his vids too far and even shares the pros that they did. Truly a goat analyst
The fact that dion flew across country for a fade with only a one day notice is insanely impressive 😅 he a 🐐
I'm laughing about the 1 day notice tho as a baller your supposed to be ready to go. Making that flight and accepting the challenge I get but it didn't matter if it was 1 day or a whole year he was going to get the business.
Dude asked for LeBron and got it. It's not like he embarrassed himself or anything like that, either. Respect.
*HE TOOK IT PERSONAL ON WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL*
Gotta give Dion the respect though. Unlike most other people in situations like this, he actually stood his ground, never cowered, and even pushed back a little.
@Steven Urquiza 😂😂y'all act like Bron played full throttle 😂😂tht was practice
And got embarrassed
@R. lmao you just mention devin booker in the same sentence as Kobe. Kobe was winning chips over those great spurs teams with Duncan when Lebron was playing GM in Cleveland. Lebron has to take his talents to Miami and join forces with, not 1 But TWO all stars and still was only 2 out of 4 in the finals. He has to make ANOTHER super team back in Cleveland with Irving and love and after the Celtics got old there was no one in the east. Now that I think about it all of his chips have either *’s or ?’s next to them. Lol stat padder. Media hype with fan boys even in the era of stat and the best stat padder can’t = MJ with old ball stats. lMAO. Mj never lost more than two games in row in 9 years. Lebron? 🤣
@ThorCat then there is D Book who has the "Mamba Mentality" complains about a mascot distracting him and double team in a pickup game
@JxmyHighroller your stuff keeps getting better. You really brought this story out into something I HAD to watch all the way through. Keep it up.
Great video man, you gave respect to both players and they both deserved it.
just wanna appreciate jimmy's videos. the editing and preparation is wild bro. keep it up!
Yeah that was some dope shit right there! Love when the underdog gets a chance to face a legend! Great video y’all and all the best to everyone
“I’m averaging 6 fouls and 2 techs in the first 2 minutes” 😭😭 that tweet got me weak
That was the best part of the whole video and it was a decent video. MVP level comment.
How can you average something by doing it once?
@Joel Robertson thats what I did
I mean I can play no factor defense pretty well he would play like Im not even there
in the floor
People can say what they want, but this made him a LEGEND!! Although he got baked he put up good stats!
I'm sure had he won against LeBron and DeMar DeRozan the narrative would of been different. They'd be trying to get him in the NBA. Mad respect for this dude for not backing down and facing the challenge. He almost even won the game. He has earned my respect.👏
No one has ever respected the game like LBJ. Great player, knows history, high IQ, promotes the game, backs fellow players, leads by example and plays when he can.
This finna be his greatest story to tell his grandkids..just having the opportunity to check one of the greatest to ever do it is awesome enough, and bro out here also got a few buckets on him too
Your storytelling is 💯 man. I don't even watch basketball like that but I subscribe just for the energy.
The backbone on that guy. He was like: "Yeah Im gonna fly across the country, Im gaurding Lebron, whatever happens happens." Lebron is Lebron, hes a freak of nature obviously, but Dion is a legit hooper. Respect
Repent to Jesus Christ ““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.””
John 16:33 NIV
@Rad Talon popularity overrated after hs enjoy your anonymity
@Da Kid I actually was, now I am not, unfortunately.
@Rad Talon you must have been real popular in school
It's a shame he couldn't guard your spelling kid.
"And backed it up!". OK, didn't see that coming and Jimmy expertly kept that punchline to the very end. Well done!
hes a king for real you see how he show love to people, showing up like that
I love your videos man, each one is a well curated and a whole damn video essay on the topic at hand
One of the few channels that gets better as it grows....props Jimmy don't sell out!
The response to the question at minute 10:37 got me laughing non-stop like crazy. People are so creative. 🤣🤣🤣
He's gonna talk about it after like "yeah I locked him down 42 only, nobody dropping 50 on D"
Dude got 42 points fropped on him. He ain't backup shit
Lebron wasnt playing hard
Dude is 1000x better than he was when he was on the Heat you’re bugging .. even the numbers/stats show that 🤷🏻♂️@Golden states warriors bandwagon Destroyer
@Sandi_700 58 I don't know anybody that Lebron had to guard that didn't hit 20 on him.....
He get 2 say he dropped 20 on bron... Respectfully...
Dope story, much respect to dion for excepting the challenge and competing 👌👌
*🔝🔝Thanks for always watching, coñgrat you've been selected for a m1pro Mac book and ps5 🅿️rize from me ✅❤️*
Its crazy that the dude flew across the country to play against lebron james and actually did good hes also a pro hooper too thats really great ❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾✝✝
😂😂 when your 10 year challenge ain’t looking so good 😂😂
damn well-researched content with good suspense building. Jxmy you leveled up.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 he showed up and showed out. 20 & while losing by 2 while exerting energy on the defensive end trying to guard LeBron! Homie did great!
He did his part!! His team some where in there let him down for the lost.
That tweet that said “I’m holding him to 98pts no way he gets 100 on me. Na uh not in my house #clamps” 😂
I was looking for this comment.
That shit had me dying on my floor lmao
Glad he just faced the challenge and took whatever came. Respect!
The people talking about how much bron would score on them had me dead.
2:10 "This might not be Kobra Kai but I'll still come out there and put something on your ass Wade."😂😂😂
Woow I had no idea the story behind the memes had this many layers, mad respect to Dion 👏🏽 if someone decides to turn this into a movie one day, imma need Jxmy to be in the writer's room 😂💯
*🔝☝️☝️Thanks for always watching, coñgrat you've been selected for a m1pro Mac book and ps5 🅿️rize from me 🎮❤️*
Yo good for Dion, he most definitely backed his ish up!!! Also very cool of Lebron to even show up, (like hey lets do this man, time to put up or shut up!) Then Dion shows up to back himself up! Hats off to you Dion that move took big shoes bruh!!!
At this point, I think Wright's more happy that he was able to go toe to toe with Lebron and held his ground. He didn't back down, and even almost won against a team featuring two NBA Superstars.
His trashtalking wasn't all hot-air, mad respect to him.
@Sam Williams oh absolutely. These aren't some random YMCA dudes that they were playing against.
@Vincent Salamatino Lebron is factually the most clutch player tho, so you lied.
Skip Baseless yes he does just because LeBron didn't go full Finals mode on him doesn't mean he shouldn't be proud at all he showed up and put in work and that's all that matters.
@faithfuljohn yeah but most teams if they were playing against two nba players would get blown out by 40. The fact it was that close shows how good the ‘normal’ players were by an ordinary persons perspective
@Antbeast23 "almost won" in the same way a dad let's his 4 year kid "almost" beat him in a race. When it came to crunch time, they got shut down and had no points for 6 straight possession (including FTs). There was a 0% chance DeMar & Lebron would have let them win.
I respect him on that you actually scored 20pts and almost win... that's tough...
Dion finally got a taste of the NBA after all. He didn't back it up he didn't play LeBron 1 v 1 but I don't think he actually believes he can beat him. Great video. He put it in the universe and it came back.
The tweets at the end got me over here dead af 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Most of the shots Bron took were very contested. And idc if Bron is going full or speed or 10% he's still one of the best ballers on the planet. Kudos to dude for accepting the challenge.
As a basketball fan I wish I seen more of this. There's gotta be a euro or pro am player that can give nba guys buckets out there somewhere.
LOL this video was great Jxmy... I watched the first 3 mins last week and was like "Nahhh" but today I finished it and the last 2 mins are killer and hilarious
I can't wait to play against LeBron James in the NBA! I have a lot of respect for a guy who's still better than ever at 37.
U got this shit Victor we rooting for you !
Do yourself a favor, when you come to the NBA next year, stop coming to Clip-Share comment sections for your own sanity. Can’t wait to see you play!
Future MVP here
San Antonio embraces you with open arms Victor! You are going to play for a franchise that is prestigious and dedicated to winning. Poppovich is a certified hof coach and the spurs have a history of success after selecting bigs. Can’t wait till draft day!!
Hi Jxmy, thank you for that video! I have a video idea for you "the best freethrow shooter of all time(?)" or NBA records held by Wilt if the League hadn't stopped him.
The freethrow rules have been changed against him. So, he went from a probably 95%+ freethrowdunker to a terrible foulshooter. I don't know the numbers but I would expect that decision to cost him 3 points per game on average over his career. I think it would be a real interesting what if topic and I don't think that anyone took on that yet ;)
Respect to Dion. If someone told me, I had to guard Bron, he’s dropping 100 points on me 😂😂
I don’t know how you do it man.. but this is quality content yet again .. keep doing your thing 🙏🏽💪🏾
Damn what a story to have on your resume playa, lost but winning at life. Its not a challenge when you doing what u love.
Dude prolly deserves a spot in the league
Over the years, we've seen jxmy keep on producing quality content, and you can tell how much he's improved with his analysis and commentary. Somehow, this video was better than the last, keep going strong jxmy! P.S., try contacting ESPN or First Take, bc Im tryna listen to jxmy instead of Skip Bayless and Stephen A. 💀(Like so he can see)
nah skips a w
Raytheslay You're a cool kid but you gotta respect greatness.
Any time someone goes on those sports shows they have to say what ESPN tells them to say so I don’t want to see jimmy there.
ESPN don’t deserve jxmmy. He needs to blaze his own path.
Bro I’ve been binge watching his videos this month and this was the cherry on top this dude always MEETING CELEBRITIES 😂
Mad respect for them both. 😁
Congrats on the well deserved success. Such a fantastic channel.
I just became a fan of Mr Wright and also I gained some more respect for Mr James.
Heart. That's what this guy had, heart. He suited up and he played the game,
Honestly, I’d be telling the story for YEARS if I even got 1 bucket on LeBron. I’d tell my kids, grandkids and anyone who would listen if I got 1 SHOT on LeBron. Not 20 points, if I scored on LeBron 1 time. I’d be flying so high. Respect to Dion.
My highlight reel would be one clip only I’m taking everything else out
Facts but he ain’t score all 20 on lebron that’s Forsure and watching most of the footage of him scoring lebron wasn’t playing defense 😆
@Cameron Carter hes right tho, the way u talking i rather hope for u ure still in ur teenage years, if urre an adult thats rather embarassing
@aseed alright Billy Badass why aren’t you pro?
U guys have small weak mentalities, that's why ur not pro
Big props to every hooper in that game. Dang boys we missed a good one.
lol i remember watching this watching this 4 days and 23 hours ago and for every hour that passes i respect dion even more
10:32 I was just saying Bron would light me the f*** up, but those tweets have me in tears
Respect bro. He didn't back down from it or pull the "yo I was just playing man" card
I dont even think I would have been able to even run 20 mins much less score 20 pts. lol Love the video sir!
crazy thing is, he wasn't even talking trash!! everything he said was correct, blunt, but correct. he was fairly polite all things considered and carried himself better than the vast majority of high schoolers. plus he had the skills and knowledge to back it up. sure he didn't destroy lebron, but he never claimed he would and that would be ridiculous anyways. he held his own and put up formidable numbers. much respect king
@Thomas Rad lebron was and still is clutch tho 😂
Formidable numbers huh when nobody is playing any real D. If he never claimed he was going to destroy LeBron, what was he coming to do flying across the country?...coz he knew guys were going to talk about his tweets and it was his moment in the sun since LeBron is such an attention magnet. Boy saying am guarding "LeBron whatever happens happens" ain't that the weakest trash talk I have ever heard!!
Skip Baseless did you watch the video? the things he said were true at the time and the predictions he made came true.
@Latre Love 6 Ls
@KB If you wanna talk about your imaginery friend do it somewhere else, bro.
All this comes down to is whether or not you respect someone for being a man of their word. Some people hold respect to the highest standard, and others choose to let their own respect mean less than their pride. Props to Dion
Yeah he was a real man-- taking on the challenge "I'm guarding Bron" and then even tho he has every excuse NOT to be there, flew across the country to back it up.
Yeah I have to respect this guy for even going up against a pro & champion like LeBron. He's got confidence & heart, plus he held his own with 20 points that's really good
Yo you never cease to amaze bro...been watching since the sax days. Love your videos more entertaining/better than ESPN fr. The take on the end of this video was great.
Never in a million years did I think I’d see my flyers in a video on this man’s channel.
Mad respect to Bron for this. He knows this gives everyone of those dudes stories they'll be telling their kids and he can't win here. Anything less than absolute annihilation of a non-nba player would give Bron a pile of crap to eat every single day the rest of his life on social media.
that ego maniac would go out of his way to prove he can outplay a nobody🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
what part of missouri you from? im Columbia
@Missouri Skinwalker 🎯
@Theazy Hunnit You can get injured on your way to the damn court from the locker room. Anything can happen. People get injured in practice all the time.
Never been the biggest LeBron fan but, he has very little to gain and alot to loose in a game like this.
Respect for both of them.
well, respect both men's attitudes. it speaks for itself.
we all trash talk and sometimes speak true. our idols must realize that we know them really well on the court.
JD WANT ALL THE SMOKE!!!!😂 I BET DUDE DUCKED HIM OUT😂😂
Amazing story, from an amazing story teller. Love the channel bro. From an ex baller in the UK 🇬🇧. Keep them coming.
Great story bro, I'm a Heat fan so I was one of those other 7 players going for them in 2011.
Definitely a dope story. Good for him. Hopefully he ends up on an NBA roster one day. Dude definitely has an amazing tale to tell his grandkids. Also kudos to LBJ and Double D. Two basketball gods actually came to Earth to play with mortal men. Simply amazing.
@The one Who knocks bro if it got root beer for life I’m down for hell not gonna lie.
Lmfao did you not watch the vid. He made those tweets a decade ago at 19. he ain't making no roster.
It's not like there is an abyss between NBA and some bigger leagues overseas. Many players make a totally deliberate and reasonable decision to play overseas instead of warming benches between G-league and NBA.
@Casanova don’t disrespect the son of God like that. You really that hungry for a seat in hell?
@You cant handle the truth Jesus (or Josh as that's the direct translation of his name without sending it through Greek first) was a man. He's dead now. He's not a god.
This is a dope video man, good stuff as always Jimmy impressive he dropped 20 Glad you gave Pat a shoutout as well.
this dude is a real role model
and as always.. you tell the story in the most interesting way. respect.
Dion was a legit hooper for sure, mad respect! 🙏🏀
Hey, Dion didn't run and went against Lebron face to face. Straight Respect!
Jxmy with another information-packed, drama-steeped, behind the scenes story. Man I can't get enough of these videos. You the NBA Clip-Share GOAT my friend
its 6'7 vs 6'9 but the fact he made lebron angry was wild and the fact they almost won and he was shooting from the logo is even crazier, man but looking at the way he was covering lebron was funny the man was in peril lol them shots and pump fakes had him spinning like a coach on the voice because lebron could literally do what ever he wanted go inside or shoot and get a bucket I know this feeling of guarding someone where you know they can do both so their pump fakes are deadly
i aint gon lie, being able to say that you went outta ya way to fly across the country, wit 12hrs prior notice that lebron james and demar derozan along with a lot of other professional and international hoopers would be showing up, and dropping 20 pts on em and bringing it to a 2 point game in front of hundreds of thousands of people? Thats one hell of an accomplishment!
They probably would've made a movie about this guy if he had pull off a come back
🔥 video. I saw the game but had no idea about the back story, which makes the game that much more epic
