When I was about 12 years old I used to go down to the local skating rink. The skating rink itself only had cubbies for your personal belongings. Not lockers. It was an honor system. I remember this one time when I couldn't find my stuff, so I went to the counter and told the man handing out skates that my stuff was gone. He gave me the most disinterested look I've ever seen in my life and pointed to a sign above the stall that essentially said the skating rink wasn't responsible for lost articles. It blew my little child mind that people could offer you a place to leave your things then just shrug when they got stolen. It shook my world to actually have an adult look me in the eyes and tell me to kick rocks, they couldn't even be fucked to offer the weakest apology. That was maybe $20 worth of stuff. A hoodie and some pokemon cards.
I find it almost literally impossible to wrap my adult head around the number of legal fuckholes required for a grown man to financially cripple another and then shrug at him. A man lost 80k and Logan is shifting responsibility.
There's something fundamentally wrong in this world.

The most amazing part of all this, at least to me, was Logan threatening to sue for defamation while literally opening himself up to the REAL liability of a defamation lawsuit. Accused someone of defaming him by defaming them lol.

His first video is so professional that it looks like a national geographic documentary with the editing and everything but when he upload his actual apology it's like "hold on, let me pull out my phone real quick and film this real quick"

Just as a BTW, a lawsuit such as what was described at the end, where the intent is to just cause stress and financial burden, is called a SLAPP lawsuit. They're no joke when they're backed with enough money, no matter how BS of a claim the lawsuit itself is. So definitely glad Coffeezilla doesn't have to deal with that kind of crap.

A lawsuit agains Coffezilla would be a textbook case of a "Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation", or a SLAPP-suit. Both California and Texas have good anti-SLAPP laws, which means Coffezilla would win pretty early on, and probably have his attorney fees covered by Logan Paul.

I want to say again that they ended up hiring financial criminals because they were literally looking for traits that make good financial criminals. Hell BitBoy served Atozy while his wife was going into labor. He had to deal with it at the hospital. I couldnโt imagine that. My first kid I was up for almost three days due to my wife being in labor and labor complications and it happened right after I left a 12 hour shift at an ICU. I've said this before, I'm almost certain that Logan went to a lawyer to try a defamation lawsuit, and the lawyers told him that if he did not only would he lose but he would be legally required to give coffee pretty much any info he asked for. He panicked because he promised to set the record straight with the lawsuit and if he loses he looks horrible so he decided to back down and try to save face.

The problem has always been that people like this are part of the "get away with this shit and nothing happens" club. He knows he will get away with it. What needs to happen here is people to band together and not let him. That simple.

Attorney Tom is representing the victims in this scam.
Considering multiple parties have contacted lawyers in regards to this. I think k you may get at least some closure. The developer definitely has a misuse of private information and defamation. Attorney Tom also posted that he already has multiple clients pursuing legal recourse against Logan.

Before crypto zoo he ran a different crypto scam called dink doink and lucky for him coffeezilla's coverage of that project didn't get too much attention, but he gambled with his reputation for a third time and this time he wasn't so lucky.
LP type of guy is the reason why I got into the job looking into ML, fraud, and scammers.

The only reason he apologized is because his lawyers told him that if he went to court, he would not only lose the case, but it would probably escalate into another case about the cryptocurrency itself. Realizing this, of course he was going to pull a seldom apology video out of his ass.
