I think the reversed magnets and absurd amount of lubes counteracted each other. The magnets want to push apart while the copious amounts of lube made the pieces stick to each other.
That's probably true!
@Z3Cubing Remove the corner-cutting!
@Mohamed Azad Abdul Rahman you can’t do that without replacing the pieces
The only thing I can think of to make this turn worse is by adding sand or dust or something to grind up the internals
Just superglue it unsolved
@Md Mia my favorite lube, glue
Adolf hitler bro is going to have the best youtube career
When he started lubricating the cube it literally felt like he was using all of the health items in his inventory at once
He knows how to reassemble a 7x7. He knows too much.
CubeRazn doesn't even know How to reassemble a 6×6.
i could do a 21x21 (moyu)
It's not that hard. A 6x6 is way harder.
@Sofía Barquero fr?
@Sheep Commander yes
At 7:01, the way his hand shakes so much trying to get Celeritas A out of the bottle is how it feels being weak and trying to get Adheron Heavy out of the bottle.
@Ceqell it’s the name of the lube
W T F
That copious amount of lube is the cubing equivalent of when you would mix a bunch of different drinks and sauces together as a kid and dare your friends to drink it
Next time you should definitely try adding something mildly abrasive in there like toothpaste or buffing compound, as well as something super sticky like honey, soda, or Elmer's glue! That would make it the stuff of nightmares!
What about graphite
If dollar store 7x7s ever exist, I'm sure that they won't come close to how bad this 7x7 turns, no matter how hard the Chinese manufactures try.
They’ll just make a 1x1 out of it, it can’t turn.
Bruh name one NON-chinese speedcube brands
@decent cuber ehem.
@Joshua6388 those are also Chinese.
@Nathan thats debatable
I think that’s a high risk of popping out a large amount of pieces.
The cube was surprisingly stable, even loosened and without springs!
Ya don’t say
@Z3Cubing it needed sand
When you said “let’s try and turn it” after removing the springs and the cube just refused I laughed out loud.
you should still have some magnets attracting to make the cube more uneven
This person totally deserves a massive round of applause for this (and all his other vids): he went through the pain and agony of reversing the magnets of HALF the pieces of a 7x7 AND disassembling and reassembling it TWICE. PLUS solve the whole thing after having smushed like 15 lubes and other things in it with dirty, oily, stinky hands. Also, he had to bear the feeling of hand sanitizer on a cut-yikes…
1:31 I love how he casually says “let’s take out a knife”
comment in case anybody was prepared to ask me if they asked
fun fact: my friend stabbed out the camera on his phone using a knife like that
That’s not really that strange.
@12 34 Ikr, that's how you know most internet users are too young, they hear "knife" and burst out laughing.
i laughed so hard at this, just tossing random stuff into a cube and making it awful, i dont know much about cubing but one day i really wanna make one of these myself just for fun
This produced a marvelous mixture of fun and pain while watching. Good stuff 👍🏽
Remembering the color scheme correctly is something I struggle with a lot. So I didn't even notice that it was wrong :o
Just remember that White is opposite of yellow, and if white is left of you, Red is under Blue, which is under Orange which is under Green which is under Red
Back in the day I lubed my authentic rubiks brand cube with vasoline and olive oil, and in a cube like that it actually did help
i couldn't imagine trying to test the polarities on those magnets
As someone who knows nothing of cubes myself, all I got from this video is that adding a whole bunch of lube seems to help the cube.
challenge idea: how many 4x4s can you solve while a non cuber is trying to solve a 2x2.
It almost hurts seeing this happen to one of my favorite cubes and my favorite 7x7 no less.
This video was hard to watch as I’ve had trouble getting my big cubes to turn better, but I couldn’t look away 😂
Z3 Never fails to entertain everyone.
This guy is so creative when it comes to cubing modifications
I think lubricating the insides with something like a mixture of honey and sand might make it even worse!
The calm narration while making this abomination was perfect
When he brought out the vaseline my eyes widened in terror, no joke.
Only thing I could think of is maybe putting sandpaper on the sides of the pieces, that way all the pieces will scrape up against each other.
'Scuse me, but what kind of psychopath are you? I just *heard* that in my head and it made my skin crawl.
At some point this video went from funny to absolute pain…
Wow you put so much work into your videos! Keep up the good work!
Next try dunking the whole thing in a tank of acetone. Mauve get some chemical-proof gloves and try to do a solve under the acetone before the cube dissolves.
What about a mod where there are normal magnets in a 3x3 but weaker repelling magnets at the same time so it maybe could have the benefit of stability and less friction
That was a rather fast solve, sub 19 seconds, the ending was a little slow but i believe you can easily improve that, keep it up!
the lubrication is like me trying to speed up my really old slow laptop but failing miserably
When you really hate a cube this much remember: there’s always a sledgehammer. Poor little 7x7 RIP.
I’ve never learned how to solve a rubiks cube and only touched one about a dozen times in my life, but this hurt me in my soul
I love how your so casual when putting the vaseline in
Congrats, you just made a modern day v-cube 7
Imagine bringing this to a speed cube tournament
Now imagine someone brings this and *wins*
@TalCorp oh god
When he brought out the WD 40 as a cuber, I Almost gaged😂
I imagine you could make a worse turning cube if you encased it in resin.
“Yo, check out my new Rubiks Cube”
“Dude, that’s cool, got one for me?”
“Yeah, here it is”
*The Rubiks Cube he gives you:*
Still turns better than my plastic rubiks cube
You should put speed cube shop lube in it as well!
That’s a pretty good shortcut for making the worst turning cube; using speedcubeshop lube.
Wow, What a roast. 👏
This is the kind of chaos I needed in my life
next time you make a worst turning cube, I suggest adding olive oil, makes cube feel very strange :)
Interesting mod idea: inside out 7x7 just like the 3x3 :D
You should’ve dumped a bunch of fine glitter in/on it after the lube lol
What do you do with these after you destroy them?
bro made first maglev 7x7 and didn't even notice
I would literally die if I tried to put back together a cube
I worked in materials science and this video hurts me so good that I have cried a little
i put wd40 on a 2x2 once and it made it super slow and uncontrollable at the same time, such a bad idea lol
The time laps is very satisfying
7:19 I think it’s the Angstrom Compound X. It’s grapefruit scented, I think.
He is one of those youtubers that whatever content he makes is good.
With quality being the priority and not quantity!
@Ivan Zen_Carver Even though his quality of video is extremely high, the quantity he makes them at is higher than most youtubers, even youtubers that make lower quality videos.
@(this channel was deleted) he’s my favorite cuber puzzle you tuber!
@Ivan Zen_Carver same.
My favorite mod that u did was put in that sanitizer. The cube needs to stay nice and clean so it doesnt get sick 🤣🤣🤣
from the thumbnail I already know this is about to be good
nothing feels worse than overlubing your cube
This seems like a normal Rubik’s cube
Here's a useful bit of knowledge for ya:
WD-40 isn't a lubricant. As the name implies, it's actually a water dispellant, and should only be used as a lubricant if you intend to disassemble whatever you are putting it in afterwards, as it is also corrosive.
what about a magnetic 17x17?
btw, really good video, i am sure that it'll have a amazing quality!
It exists, but it took DAYS to make. Imagine all of that hard work and money it would take to get a 17x17, take it apart, buy some magnets and add some, yeah. Not ideal.
@Pixomite it's for science
I believe that would only take about 50% more magnets than the gigaminx I just magnetized. The hardest part would just be reassembling it!
I need a therapist after this. What a cubing night mare.
It pains me to see him ruin the cube😂
you should do a timed solve with this
Come on man, you forgot the water! My best lubricant of all times, it definetly works on all my cubes and make them turn super faster and controllable 😁
I cant tell if you're joking or not
@ItzLuz come on, I'm joking, please don't try it
@Mateo MP ik that water makes your cube worse, because when i started cubing for 3 weeks i did that and my old main became worse
The turning still isn’t NEARLY as bad as my *a n c i e n t* 4x4
When you added the WD-40, I whispered "no" at my monitor. When you added the vaseline, it turned into me whispering "NONONONONONONONONONONO" and my housemates wondering if I was okay.
I‘d love to see how the cube now looks taken apart
Sad face :( I wanted to see the sand lube, you know the one that "smooths" all the pieces by slamming sand in all the areas
I died when he said he swapped the colors around
Bro that turns better than my old 4x4 💀
i actually put hand sanitizer in my worst cube in mu collection and it got better somehow
z3 please keep up with the awsome work
7:33 Gravitas is the slower chunkier clear one. Gravity like pulling you down and it’s slower Ig
still turns better than my main 3x3
Still turns better than my small 3x3
After a minute, it just feels like a lube sponsor XDD
That poor cube... you've made a 4d object out of a god fearing 3d one
So, he’s a psycho, right? But also a master of creativity🤣🤣🤣
the amount of pain i went through watching the wd-40 and then sanitizer
That literally gave me chills just looking at the thumbnail omg
Try to make the loudest 3x3
Only you need to demand a 7x7 to Rubik’s, will not disappoint you.
Y'know, they really should shorten "cube lubricants" to cubricants.
Next time you should put paint in the rubiks cube so it is hard to tell which side you're looking at
When the turning is so bad it’s more optimal to take the +2 11:05
reminds me of my old rubik's 5x5 that my sister filled with slime, sand, and sawdust.
Good job! That 7x7 deserved to be punished (7 is my least favorite number)!
Turns a cube into a chemical weapon with copious amounts of lube
Hello I have a question, how did you know the magnets were reversed did you compare it to the other pieces or was it something else
They... Repelled each other when he flipped them? Is that not a sign?
So that's how my 7x7 was made. Good to know!
When a non-cuber plays with a cube without reading instructions:
This should be a new official tournament genre, HORRIBLE cube solutions... The person to trow it out the window and give up on cubing permanently last, wins. 🤣😭
When he injected the lubes the first thing in my mind was “needle surgery”
Incredible video 😄
Bro murdered a 7 by 7 cube,and suprsingly,I loved it!
Legit question, is this repairable?
Thumbnail already shows this video is gonna be good-
really what you should've done is left 3 edge pieces "unreversed" just for that extra 'what the hell is wrong with this cube' factor.
