I had a friend that was a Texans fan once, I haven't heard from him since the Texans Chiefs playoff game.

I know most of the comments are going to focus on "This Season", but the bluegrass track under the first part of the video featuring the Texans was an inspired choice. It's dad-gum good bluegrass too!

I legitimately went to Arizona and got a JJ Cardinals jersey as a Texans fan. Y’all have no idea how true that statement was

This Season Prediction Checklist (I will be coming back to this whenever a prediction of all teams is right or wrong):
Patriots: Yes, hooded Bill did return and Mac Jones was good and all, but they got eliminated in the Wild Card.
Bills:
Dolphins: Yes, so far Tua is not a bust.
Jets: Yes, Zach Wilson has a baby face.
Browns: No, didn't even make the playoffs.
Steelers:
Bengals: Yes, Joe Burrow was still alive and lead the Bengals to win the AFC North. Kitty Goes Meow!
Ravens:
Texans: No, this season was not cancelled. Hurray!
Jaguars: Yes, Jaguars have one more than one game. Jaguars won their second game against the Bills in which the final score from away to home was 6-9. Nice
Colts: No, Carson Wentz didn't thrived as much. They lost to the Jaguars which lead to playoff elimination.
Titans:
Broncos: Yes and No, the Broncos did stick with Teddy Bridgewater until he got injured and it was until the end of the season they used Drew Lock.
Chiefs: Yes, the Chiefs are still fine.
Chargers: Yes, the stadiums were full and Justin Herbert has been playing outstanding. Thanks Brandon Staley!
Raiders: Yes, not only Jon Gruden knocked, he knocked his HC career out the window. Let's just say a certain email was leaked and forced Gruden to resign.
Bears: Yes, Justin Fields did work and Andy Dalton was a bit serviceable. Nick Foles magic was still alive against the Seahawks, which were eliminated from the playoffs.
Packers:
Lions: Yes, the Lions did bite some opponents knees. This includes the Vikings, Cardinals, and a little bit of the Steelers.
Vikings: No, the Vikings did forfeit many games including losing to the winless Lions.
49ers:
Seahawks:
Rams: Yes, the Rams have made more press than the Lakers by forming a superteam.
Cardinals: Yes, Arizona is a retirement home.
Cowboys:
Eagles:
Wildflower:
Giants: No, Kedarius Tonet wasn't hardly playing the majority of the Giants season.
Saints:
Buccaneers: No, they got eliminated by the Rams in the divisional round.
Falcons: Yes, they have thrown the ball to Kyle Pitts. Also, the Falcons were eliminated from playoff contention, but weren't that bad this season.
Panthers: Yes, CMC has been getting hurt.

The Texans are just… screwed for the foreseeable future.
This Season… hopefully everyone stays healthy and The Niners get back to the Super Bowl.

As a Texan's fan I have both dreaded and looked forward to this.

My heart goes out to Colts fans. As a Broncos fan, I know how they feel because we lost Von Miller the week of Game 1 preparation. It was like a knife. There goes the season! That of course can be an exaggeration, especially when you have a month to figure out a plan B. But as a fan, it feels pretty bad. Condolences.

Your reactions are very accurate. Although there’s pain, but there’s still hope after the 2021 season. Ima Texans fan since day 1, and still loyal. It’ll be a long process, but I’m sure the Texans will be back in contention within 5-10 years. Patience is a virtue. You have to give credit to Nick Caserio for what he’s done since he took over as GM, by getting rid of all the shit Bill O’Brien caused.

I was at high school football practice when bill o brien was fired the coach gathered us all around told us and let us celebrate for like 5 minutes before starting back up.

You totally skipped the part where we were certain we were getting Eric Bienamy, and then they hired Nick Casserio in the middle of the night followed by hiring Culley.

3:39 Honestly, that face has been my soul for the last few years in regards to this team. Shit just keeps going from bad to worse. Can't even properly hit the god damn reset button because DeShaun decided he needed to get his freak on in a very specific way (why couldn't he just go to Nevada or something and do what he needed to do in a county where it's actually legal?). O'Brien should have already been fired after the humiliating wild card loss to the Colts. At home. But nah. Lets extend him, make him de facto, then de jure, GM and hire a dude from the Patriots (Easterby) to be involved in football operations when he has no business even touching that shit. It finally takes an 0-4 start to a season and a player revolt lead by JJ Watt (which I think actually occurred around week 3) to can his ass (-chin). Now the Texans are going into this season with a new head coach that hasn't even had proper coordinator experience in the league, and with an offense lead by a glorified backup/journeyman QB. Mills has a glimmer of potential, but he should have stayed at Stanford another year to get more experience and have more film for teams to analyze him. Might have been drafted higher. If he doesn't get thrown to the wolves early because of injury to Taylor, I expect it would be quite a while before he's truly ready to start. The Texans only hope to rebuild quicker is for a team to get so damn desperate that they're willing to shell out a king's ransom and more to take on DeShaun's legal problems and a likely suspension (of unknown length) in the hopes that he's worth it. I highly doubt anything will happen until Watson's legal issues reach some kind of resolution. In the mean time, there will be more suffering and humiliation to be had on the field, I'm sure.
