There is also a question about the statute of limitations on such cases - which in New York is two years. Separately, the Manhattan prosecutor's office will have to prove whether Trump himself paid money to a porn actress or not. After all, there is evidence that he could not have had anything to do with it.

I don't know how I feel about this not condoning anything however just thinking within our vast system maybe we should look into establishing a specific judicial court system for the president or vice president of our country. I only say that compared to our military courts.. praying for wisdom and peace in our country throughout this ordeal. I don't really care for all of the extended bashing of our former President he was elected by the people and instead of bashing him down I pray this causes us all to look within to love one another. When you genuinely just care for the well being of another you are less likely to do harm through policies or actions. Lord we need your grace and mercy ❤️🙏

In any other state, this case wouldn't even have gone to court. But in New York, as they like to say, you can even blame a sandwich for something if you want. However, all the holes in the case may allow Trump to win back the charges on appeal. It is unlikely that it will be able to disrupt Trump's presidential campaign - but his team will have to spend a lot of time and effort on litigation, which otherwise would have gone to election work.
