I thought it was real at the begining, was skeptical at the skulk charge, but when the new dimensions, backrooms, and shaders came on I realized I'd just gotten absolutely played. Happy april fools day!

Honestly, if there was a Deep dark dimension, I would be so down to explore that. That and, maybe not infinite but, that desert cave would be fantastic additions. I would love those.

Honestly, having random pocket dimensions would be a really cool addition to the game if it was only accessible through a Deepdark portal and there was a recall feature to base to escape the pocket dimension.
Would be great way to add a bunch of exploration to the game.

NGL I kind of wish that there were actually some creepier things like this in Minecraft. The Deep Dark is creepy but mostly because it's dark and you have to actually be quiet, but the sort of liminality of the endless desert and the hallways dimensions was super cool to me. I adore creepy things in games that don't revolve around things being dark or violent or gory; I like the uneasy feeling you get from being in a place that just doesn't feel like you should be there, like a sort of emptiness that's so tangible that you feel like you're trespassing or out of bounds in some way. The hallways dimension in particular was cool because it just didn't make any kind of sense, almost like it wasn't built for humans to be in. The weird door behind the flower really cemented that feeling for me. Liminality and it's use to make a creepy or even threatening feeling when there's no threat present is just something I really love as a form of psychological horror; the maps in Source games and most of the game Superliminal are amazing examples of this. And even though Minecraft is admittedly a kids game, I think it would be so great if Mojang could add some kind of dimension or whatnot that really capitalizes on that kind of fear instead of the "ooo spooky I can't see and I need to be quiet or I die" type of fear that the Deep Dark has.

The infinite desert would be soooo useful, you could get sand without tearing up a local beach.
Also, i believed it at first, then became suspicious once I realized the doorway sounded exactly like Knarfy. Happy April fools!

I honestly would love if the endless dessert was real, never running out of sand and it would bring a new challenge for players that got bored of the game

At the beginning I believed it. At "the doorway" I became suspicious. At the infinite desert I remembered it is April 1st.

I realised at the "infinite desert dimension" that I'd been played like a kazoo, as fiddles are deceptively difficult to play. Very well made April Fools, props to you Knarfy

I know it's probably part of a mod you used, but I would actually be thrilled to see the antique radio in Minecraft. It could be crafted using amethyst and some of the metal in the game along with redstone.

Got to admit, that infinite desert biome, was actually pretty cool.
Can we get a unique dimension for all the biomes? an Infinite Plains Dimension, Infinite Taiga Dimension, Infinite Ocean Dimension, etc.
That would be extremely cool. Though I'm still waiting for the Aether Dimension to become part of Vanilla Minecraft.

Outside of the backrooms and everything after this would actually be really cool if it got added to minecraft. They should merge the deep dark and desert dimensions and the desert just be like really really deep underground in some small 300 by 300 spaces so somewhat rare, with rare items you can only get there and maybe some more new items. Also have new mobs in this place and maybe holes that lead to the void?

No joke.. As much simple as it is, I really love the look on that infinite desert. I am aware you can make custom biomes. I wonder if you could do that for Bedrock or something. Very charming video nonetheless!

Honestly, the idea of a sculk dimension actually goes hard. Like, the end, but much more dangerous

At first I definitely believed we finally got a new dimension, the 3rd decade of updates which fits for 3 dimensions. The skulk charge was believable amd the skulk and desert dimensions. As a way to get more sand for glass and skulk for exp. The hallways dimension definitely rose suspision. Still believeable though. Then the backrooms dimension, this was way out of the ordinary and just couldn't help to look in the comments to remember it's April Fool's Day. Happy April Fool's Day everyone!

It would be cool to have dimensions like the dessert and skulk. Imagine your on a multiplayer server and someone is stealing, banish them beyond the doorway.

I’m sure that as the update progresses there’ll be more structures and stuff that spawn in the two new dimensions which are totally real

One of the best April fools videos I've seen. Defo seemed sus throughout the whole thing. I do actually think that the endless desert biome should be a feature. It's one of those things that exist in Minecraft but doesn't make sense and I love the vibe it gives. I feel like there would only be one structure which is new there and it would be some sort of massive ruin with a few gravestones with names crossed out. In those graves would contain at maximum 3 diaries There would be new items as well known as the Way-finders': Goggles, Scarf and tunic, leggings and Boots. I imagine the Way-finders would be a civilization that lived in the endless desert before the weather and terrain became too harsh and wiped them out. This is just an idea though.

I genuinely believed you for about 7 whole minutes. Then my fellings started to waver, and when you found the last doorway I was pretty sure this was an April fools joke. This was awesome.

I realised it was april fools as soon as the desert biome appeared, I liked the idea of the sculk dimension but was skeptical and checked the date when the desert dimension happened. Also the fact that you just started playing Teardown at one point was hilarious.

The endless desert was a great concept. If only it were true.

Oh Man... you played me like a Fiddle. At first i was thinking and theorizing about the Possibilities of some new Dimensions. But the Doorways and Stuff were so weird and only a few seconds before the Video ended and solved everything, i started to remember which Day we have. You really got me with this and i was so unaware of it until the End 🙂 Good Job.

you went through so much effort for this, it was awesome. also, the look of the infinite desert is really cool.

A difficult but needed thing is an official modding API. We all know how popular modding is in minecraft. But its biggest issue is that every update breaks them. So a modding API would help every mods compatability if new mods are made with it in mind

The infinite desert would be cool if it was in vanilla not just because its a good source of sand but also for the atmosphere.

To be fair if they actually added a skulk dimension I expect it will be pretty feature sparse at the start, just like the Nether and End were at first. I hope Mojang isn't afraid to add new dimensions because they feel they must polish it at least as much as the Nether is since the Nether Update.

I would love some new dimension to have some sort of creepy vibe like the Hallways in this video. Breaking the meta of the game was so cool.

Prank aside, it did make me think, why is there only a specific singular golden apple in a chest near the portal looking structure in the center of the city, honestly maybe it IS just a placeholder item until they reveal the true item meant to be obtained from the chest.

All of this besides the backrooms would be so cool. But instead of only infinite desert infinite versions of all biomes being a potential destination along with the Hallways. Maybe they could do something with the lore too.

If they were to actually add a new skulk dimension, I would hope that it's not just like the nether all over again but instead maybe a whole post apocalyptic world that was more advanced than our own that got taken over by the skulks

Honestly, the infinite desert, and maybe even the Skulk dimension would be cool. If they really did add them, they'd be a great way to add even more stuff to the game in future updates.. actually upset that they're not real.
The Skulk dimension could have some kind of Warden King boss as well as other enemies who give you a new set of materials stronger than Netherite.
And the infinite desert would be great for more archeology stuff. Maybe archeology in the nether could give you access to a portal, and then there's another material set as well as other items found in the infinite desert, and maybe even the Red Dragon boss that they talked about but never added.

I believed the skulk thing, but the desert just didn’t fit in, and then after that it was just way too obvious that it was fake. But I think that the skulk dimension is actually a great idea, and would be really cool as we haven’t gotten a new dimension for a really long time. Great job on the video, it was really entertaining and fun to watch.

I like this, even if the new creepy dimension is an April fools joke. If it had unique structures, mobs, and items to find there, I would be hyped for a spooky dimension. The End and Nether dimensions do not keep me on my toes. They are good dimensions, but the nether needs an endgame boss. Mojang, I want a scary dimension like this and maybe a mythical calm one like the Aether as well.

Am I the only one who wants the original concept for the archaeology section where you can essentially make dirt, sand, and gravel layers. It's so useful.

I really like the new update, I do think the backrooms is a bit weird but the last world is cool it reminds me of a game I have, its almost like a mod for that game, love the 1.20 update

I definitely agree with the sentiment toward the cherry wood. It is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. But I wish more people appreciated it - it's overshadowed by the sniffer.

Okay but the deep dark dimension is actually a really cool concept lol I’m already thinking of like lore that it’s the place beyond the void and the sculk is from the void and it’s infecting the overworld slowly but surely(the deep dark ruins was a great civilization but fell into ruins due to the sculk). Most of the terrain would be dark like really dark and like lots of particles from blocks that are decaying since,it’s the void but still have little ruins with small remnants of light showing what the void used to be(maybe it wasn’t always like this but maybe not). It could play with a wasteland and eerie theme to show that horror side of Minecraft but there could still have mobs like the nether(and heaven?) souls/creatures who died again so now they’re in the void for eternity or something whatever I actually want it now lol any mod developers here?

Yo but unironically if the deep dark dimension was real that would be so sick and would be really cool. It would make the actual warden mechanics enforced, and would be a really cool way to add a new objective to go after.

I wish that Mojang would add a new dimension so badly. I love the cherry blossom biome but honestly I want a new huge place to explore.

I actually believed there was a Deep dark dimension and an infinite desert dimension and thought the doorways were a way between the Deep dark dimension and infinite biome dimensions, so there were infinite forest dimensions, infinite plains dimensions, infinite swamp dimension, etc… but then the backrooms came in and I realized “No way, Mojang would never add this, I just got trolled”

Until the third Doorway, I was pretty convinced that this wasnt an April fool's video, but when he entered the third Doorway, I knew it was just a joke. But still, the infinite desert dimension seems really cool.

Honestly, the dark dimensions remind me of the Shadowfell dimension form D&D.
Man, how i want someone to just take D&D and port it into minecraft. Sure, there's some similar mods, but i want one that copypastes the stat and levelling system straight into minecraft, alongside a new damage formula and a ton of fun spells, and all the mobs.

Knarfy is nothing if not a jester of supreme wit and comedy. XD Trolling us through trolling Minecraft in a near infinite loop because there are younger fans or naïve people who won't see what he's doing.
I also love that I can name and pen point all those mods on curse forges except the wobbly seizure room.

I think the collab with Teardown is such a great new mechanic to the game.

The hallways dimension is not my favorite, but I would say that it is basically just a weirder backrooms.

The Doorways simply seem like Mojang adding the backrooms in their own way

I actually believed the whole thing (my faith in Mojang has been severely shaken these last couple updates) until at the end it said April fools and I laughed for like an hour straight lol

I was getting skeptical at the doorway, a bit more skeptical at the village, and was 50/50 at the second doorway, but the moment you entered it, I was like, yeah, he got me. I just didn't realise this video is from today.

Despite this being an april fools video I'd actually be really hyped about an infinite sculk and infinite desert biome

Watching this on the 20th of April, and I actually believed it for a while. Even in the house dimension, I still thought this was real (remembering the 20w14infinite snapshot, where shaders were also part of some dimensions). The backrooms, though... That's too much.

I was thinking maybe for the skulk dimension, and then “that’s possible, but like why” for the desert but then it came to the one after the desert and then I remembered it was April first.

Honestly, after the Infinite Desert, when you got into the room with the visual effects, I realised this was a joke. But before that, I was just thinking 'this is a snapshot, they may have things planned for this stuff in the future'. I mean; forgive me doing a MatPat; think of the LOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!

All those dimensions besides the two backrooms ones have a lot of potential if they weren't an april fools thing

not going to lie i do kind of like the silly idea of the door way as its own thing as it could be fun to head thought to see what you get
also i could care less about the deep dark sense i only really have dealt with it thanks to a mod that back ports it to 1.16 so i can enjoy all the mods i like (sense a few of them aren't updated)

4:31 This reminds me of a really creepy mod I played many moons ago, cant for the life of me remember what it's called, it might be the dimensional door mod, could be wrong, I just remember there being a biome like this but in it's vast nothingness there was some helly creepy mobs wondering around ( I think they had red beam like eyes you could see at a distance, like spot eye vision? I could be remembering completely wrong) and it took forever to find a escape 🤣 other then death...or creative mode. I was baby I switched creative lol.

Maybe they will add new bosses with altars in the new dimensions and you have to travel through all of them to get back to the overworld.

Great april fools joke! Fell for the infinite village, doorways and skulk dimension, my favourite one was the infinite hallway it gave me eery vibes with the music.

I thought that the hallways dimension was the backrooms, then... I think they should take out the backrooms and have their own backrooms as the Hallways dimension

the doorways were sick until the backrooms im sure if they add something interesting and a way to come back this would be sick in vanilla

man, these new changes look so cool! and they finally added herobrine back into the game! honestly cool update, im actually playing it as we speak! I'm trying to get to the backrooms in survival mode rn, this dark biome is very scary, and it's kinda hard to progress because you have to place blocks to get places but then the warden spawns in and then you cant do anything, you have to wait for him to go away. this is still a really cool update, and just like with the previous updates, it doesn't even feel like minecraft anymore, and they are sticking with that theme, it seems.

If it was real, I'd believe that the deep dark dimension will not forever have no structures, like how the nether started with no structures but got structures in separate updates.

It's a snapshot. It's important to remember that whatever is there at the moment is not likely to be finished.

i probably would have fallen for the sculk charge if I didn't notice that swift sneak III book being part of the deeper and darker mod
