Wow… the power of suggestion!! 😮Nicely executed. The speach is important here. Every single word used is key. The semantic used by the ghost goes around losing, lost, loss… the box there also probably suggest the keys to lock it. The baloon exploding was probably something BAM to mark the subconscious more effectively. At the same time the semantic about childhood etc suggested the other item. That’s my best guest, and pretty well executed 👌👌
That's unreliable. These things are pre arranged. Look at their very poor acting/overacting.

This show, while quite entertaining, is also so contrived. The camera just happens to pan to audience members leaning forward in suspence? Just happens to catch another saying "I'm scared!" ? And Amanda seems expectant of a bursting balloon and then the camera immediately cuts away to another one. I may have seen shills in other episodes, as well. (I'm waaaay too observant. ) Just some silly thoughts. 🤔
There is editing, of course. Pan and scan get the visuals and are then edited in or out to *hopefully* get those "it makes for good tv" moments. But how are the visual *and* audibles caught? The audience member who is shown rolling the eyes and *heard* saying to the next one, "Yeah, right. This one's a joke," makes for a really good TV moment. But by chance? Unlikely, especially since it's a fairly consistent tactic. And audiences are coached in various ways for various reasons. I'd really like to see tv and movie productions from start to finish. I've seen some, but I want to see it all. Especially ornate movies.

I agree, it was all contrived. This could have been done by using multiple cameras and good editing after the fact, but remember, this is TV. Don’t take TV too seriously.

The show is not live, is it? If so, there would be tons of footage to cut between in post. However, even in saying so, the audience reactions, even the judges' reactions do often come across as acted.
Personally, I prefer an act that doesn't get the judges acting for them as though it's some weird mystery. When we all know it's set up.
Yes but theyre just trying to catch up to the audiences total over reactions on the sister show AGT. I find all these things are designed to dumb down society further.

Unique but actually not difficult to do. Motorised chair, automated buzzer, remote controlled trolley etc. Special effects could probably quite easily replicate this.

@ k sun. But did you notice that we did not see the chalk lift up and move to the next letter. That part was edited out. Wonder why?

This was not my greatest decision to watch this before going to sleep. Lol 😅🫣😨
Easy to figure this one out..notice how someone says "wow it's gone cold all of sudden" the key is magnets both turning the chair and pushing the button..then the different temperature of her hand holding the balloon pops because of her temperature change..the placement of both the keys and the baby pasafiler into the box is the key to determine whether she has the keys or the pasafiler then again back to magnetic caulk writing the word "keys" only after we already know where the pasafiler is located. Notice the dude that walks on to pickup the wooden box to move it off stage upon looking into box he knows that both the pasafiler and keys are the only items missing so once we see the pasafiler only the keys are left to be discovered.
Even Penn and Teller could figure out this "Invisible Man" trick within minutes.
You are making this way more complicated than it really was. The judges were in on this bit. Everything was a set up including the judges. That makes the entire show pretty easy to figure out after that.
People are so easily mesmerized now a day.

@Georgi Yakov I know it's a trick am just analysing what i observed: guessing between illusion bc of how the chalk dropped ...too mechanical, bc he didn't lift Amanda up...& guessing he is wearing an invisible suit bc he must have been walking around to be able to collect the keys.. .

@ Erin Nelson. No. It was much simpler than that. This is just a TV show. On this bit, the judges were in on it. Once you know the judges were in on it, the entire show is pretty simple to figure out. There was also too much editing to be a real performance. Notice how Amanda placed the chalk in the middle of the chalk board but the writing did not start at the center.
@Aqualyra S. As we saw from the footage that was filmed by whoever took the keys, someone was rifling around in David's dressing room earlier and took his keys for this trick.

Of course Amanda knew what she had bc she looked in the box to take the keys out, which were the only other things besides the pacifier. And if course the person knew that if she had the pacifier, that Amanda had they keys. So no real magic, but still interesting.

Why does the chalk start writing from a point on the board it wasn't originally placed.
It's obviously an act they're all in on and filmed in more than one take. Still pretty good though.
